Silentstorm burst into laughter, "Yeah, Poppybreeze. Maybe you could hear something!" She flicked her ears back and forth to emphasise her point. "Gee, I wonder how bad it would be to not hear anything!" She did that every time someone said something like that. Not that she could hear what they had said. Silentstorm spun around to Lioncloud, " Why are you here?" She hadn't seen what he had said. Silentstorm thought acknowledging him was good enough for the she-cat. "It's like the whole camp is here now!" She glared at the kittypet, "Who are you?"

Why does everyone ruin everything?! Miststone thought with a snarl. She turned and stalked away into twolegplace when no one looked. She had to see her siblings, she needed to tell them...

After speaking, Silentstorm stepped back, it was easier to read what was happening from the back. Her gaze shifted as Miststone wandered away. Sneaking away from the other three she-cats, Silentstorm followed Miststone silently, or, she hoped it was silently.

~Miststone~

The tabby slipped beneath a wire fencing and into a twoleg’s garden. She tasted the air, and snorted with frustration. They, obviously, were following her.
Turning, she darted into a nearby alley, and nearly ran into a tin bin. She skidded around it and ran across a small thunderpath, into another alley, the same one she normally met her siblings in.

Poppybreeze halted by the alley, struggling to pick up Miststone's scent. She had been here, but which way? The twolegplace was confusing. Poppybreeze didn't understand how kittypets found their way around. She started looking around for movement, then opened her mouth to try and scent Miststone. She shook her head, randomly darting into the allyway, unsure of where the queen went.
Oh, I sure hope she didn't go the other way.
"Miststone?" she called, her voice bouncing off the narrow walls of the allyway.

(The only reason Silentstorm can follow this is that her eyesight and smell are really good.)

Silentstorm rushed to catch up with Miststone. Almost there. She had left before the other two, so she was farther ahead. She sprinted across a second thunderpath and hissed as the dark stone bit into her pads. She turned into the alley barely behind Miststone and stopped. Now was the time for strategy. The others couldn't find them.
