Nightpaw scanned the clearing. It was hard to tell what was happening. She saw a coyote clawing at Linnetwing, but she didn't seem to need much help. "I don't see anything bad," she observed. It looked like most of the cats had teamed up.

Spidercrawl looked up and noticed Silverclaw pinned under the coyote, and he felt his heart stop. Without stopping to think he rushed forward, ramming into the coyote with all his strength. "Let's go Nightpaw!" He called to his apprentice before turning back. "Silverclaw!"

Startled, Nightpaw watched as Spidercrawl charged straight into the coyote. Moving forward, she bared her teeth at it before swiping with her front paw. It felt good, but she missed. The coyote snarled at her before aiming a swat at her head. She ducked just in time, so close that she could feel the air on her ears. Stumbling backward, she tried find a spot to attack, but the coyote never gave her an opening.

Peachblossom was beyond relieved at the assistance, she didn't have much strength to offer by herself, but she continued to try and make herself useful by squeezing under the coyote a little and propping it upwards with her body, already struggling under the hefty weight.

Sunstripe looked around for Riverpaw before spotting her and rushing over, clawing at a coyote as he went. “Riverpaw!” He called out to get her attention, “Use lilies and scratch!” It would include ducking under the coyotes belly and scratching at the soft fur but it was the best option.

He got one eye he just needed to get the other while it was distracted. He latched on with his claws as it moved around. He got the other eye then looked down now what! he said half talking to himself. He hadn’t thought this far through his plan and was now stuck on its back

Riverpaw nodded and slid under and clawed its belly. She almost got stepped on but didn’t. She then ran next to sunstripe thanks. Do you have a plan? she asked still shaking
