Oakleaf lay in the clearing, looking upset. She looked unhealthy as well. Other then her pregnant belly, she looked skinny.

Flamestar sat beside his deputy, Thrushcall, who was also his sister's mate. He was worried about Oakleaf. "She's been doing horribly since her old mate left her. I thought it would get better now that she loves you, but she's still depressed." he studies his deputy/brother-in-law. "Talk to her?"

Thrushcall nodded. "Yessir," he mewed, then picked up the squirrel he had just taken from the freshkill pile and placed it by Oakleaf's nose. "Would you share a squirrel with me?" He asked gently.

Oakleaf peered up at him and ate the piece. "I know you love me, but I don't get why you care about my kits when they aren't even yours."

Firescar limped out of the den looking around the scarred tom laid a distance away from the 2 love cats

Blizzardfrost watched as firescar came out she thought about going to him and talking but took the second thought and left him alone
