Lotuspaw yawned, blinking her eyes drowsily. She wondered where her mentor, Nettlefur, was. She hadn’t been around for awhile.
Lotuspaw padded out of the medicine den, whispering to Leafy to go back to sleep. She padded into the clearing, and looked around. Nettlefur wasn’t anywhere to be found.
“Leafy,” Lotuspaw hissed. “Have you seen Nettlefur?” She asked back inside the den. Leafy didn’t respond. “Your right! Maybe she’s caught and can’t call for help!” She meowed. Lotuspaw found strange interpretations in her Leafy. She darted around, growling. Leafy was stoic. She calmed down.
“Your right. She’s fine. I’m going herb hunting.” Lotuspaw padded out of camp.

Lotuspaw entered the herb patch. She lay down in the sunshine, regardless of what her real task was. She rolled over, curling up in a clump of moss. The sun was warm on her back, and her eyes drooped closed.
