Cherry bounded across the Open meadow, gleefully chasing a squirrel. She wasn’t exactly hungry, but a meal was a meal, and she wanted to catch the squirrel. The promise of Newleaf drove her along, knowing she could live to see the trees blossom once more. She finally caught the squirrel as it was about to hit a tree. With one carefully placed hip, she killed the creature.

Moonpaw watched a cat catch a squirrel she shakes the grass out of her fur and snuck up behind her "Hi!! I'm Moonpaw who are you?" She meowed excited to meet someone new. She smiled at the she-cat looking nice.
