And you are somewhat correct. The Olympics used to be every four years, and they would play both games in one year, but that was a big issue sometimes wen it came to raising enough money for the event, along with other reasons, so the commite changed it to be one of the two events every two years.

Used to...wha...WHAT?! I dunno if it's different cause I'm British or something but this is not how I remember it at all...unless we've been taught different things or something? I know it's common knowledge but...just no one I know is speaking about it or even knows about it...so that just confuses me even more. But oh well don't explain anymore to me i wasn't planning on watching it anyway I'm not bothered about sport events
