Juniperpaw rushed to the border, afraid of being late. She hadn't even gotten Russetstar's permission, rather afraid to face him after experiencing his powerful disapproval of her. Besides, it wasn't like she'd be gone long. And not many patients were coming to see her, knowing that Juniperpaw could do close to nothing for them with her extreme lack of knowledge. Juniperpaw's never felt more alone. Her mother also went missing, and her father was taking her loss so strongly that he hasn't been around much for Juniperpaw. And her half-brothers were also busy, Mudpaw being quite jealous of her and Quillpaw padding after Russetstar's sharp-tongued son. Geckoleaf was gone, leaving without resolving the tensions between herself and Juniperpaw, and Daypaw was an entire Clan away. Not to mention that a majority of RiverClan still seemed to resent Juniperpaw for replacing Cricketpaw.


She spotted Daypaw at the border with another feline at their side. Juniperpaw brightened, raising her tail in greeting. ``Daypaw! Oh, I've never been so happy to see you!`` She hurried her pace, practically launching herself at the feline she considered to be her older sibling. After briefly nuzzling Daypaw in a friendly manner, she stepped back and sized up the ShadowClan apprentice standing nearby. ``Hello! I'm Juniperpaw.``
