Smogcloud turned just in time to see Kestrelshade grab a bite to eat and run to where they were sitting with the leader and medicine cat. They looked down at their own small figure, realizing they hadn’t eaten since the day before. Before they could speak up, though, Grousestar had started toward the old DS border, Shinefang trailing behind. With an internal sigh at their own stupidity, they hurried after the others. Quickly, she chose to keep pace with Grousestar.

They knew they had to talk to the leader. It would be awkward not to, and rude to step back. So, they opened their mouth, but nothing came. They had so many questions, though. They finally settled on one. “So...” they started, internally cringing. “Do you think we’ll find much?”
