Rosethorn nodded, moving alongside him. She flicked her ears up and looked at him curiously. "Could I be part of your escort?" She asked, genuinely wanting to accompany Blazingstar to at least the border. She could sense that Blazingstar's frustration had grown with the conversation, and ceased attempting to try and lighten the mood. She wasn't sure why she was feeling so protective of the tom, but part of that had to do with the battle, she was sure. She blamed herself for Blazingstar's lost life, blamed herself for not getting there in time, and not taking Hades' life before he took Blazingstar's. She didn't want to make the same mistake again; Blazingstar was a strong cat, but he was weakened by the loss of two lives within a short period of time. As Starclan as her witness, she wasn't going to let him lose another while her heart was still beating.

Blaizngstar shook his head. "After what had just happened, it's better I go to them alone. It won't look threatening and I don't think Goldenstar would appreciate a patrol of camp padding up into the camp. I'll be fine alone," he replied, his voice a little more stern about that. The ginger tom continued walking. Wasn't camp getting any closer? It seemed like such a long walk. However, he was grateful for the moors. There wasn't anything to avoid like branches or creeks. It was flat and he could see everything at the top of the hills. That was his favorite part. The ginger tom looked towards the sky as he lit up brighter and brighter. The time was definitely going by though. His limp probably didn't help their pace. "You don't have to walk with me. Catch up with the others if you want, they're almost to camp, I'm just slowing you up," he commented, gesturing to the cats ahead of them. They were almost to camp at this point and couldn't hear anything they were talking about and vice versa. He was positive it was just a lot of battle gossip.
