His large build made him look as though he were an experienced apprentice about to earn their warrior name, while in reality he was moons from that age. He puffed out his pelt as he padded along, remembering how he loved to escape camp and explore when he was a kit. A familiar pang stabbed him as the memory brought up Timberkit - his lost friend. He sighed and shook his head as he continued forward, trying not to think about the things that could have happened to her, the things that prevented her from already making it back to the clans. "Focus," he breathed. "Think about seeing to the borders right now...."

Reaching the border on his self-designated border patrol, he stiffened when he smelled another cat not far from where he was. Orchidpaw crouched down and headed towards the cent, hoping that it wasn't a cat from the other clans trying to drag Thunderclan into the rising tensions. But as he neared them, the calico realized that the scent was faintly that of Thunderclan, but also mixed with others that he would assume was from non-clan occupied territories. Hoped surged in his heart as he remembered Timberkit and wondered if she had finally returned to Thunderclan. He leaped to his paws and sprinted in the direction of the cat. Orchidpaw stopped short when he bursted from the bushes and found the familiar molly. He was frozen in place. Though he had hoped for it, he wasn't really expecting to find her. Heterochromatic orbs watched his best friend in shock. "T-Timberkit?" He mewed hopefully.
Timber looked down at the leaves below her paws before her tail flicked slightly. She knew she remembered something of this place but she just couldn't remember. It was like a small vault locked up in her mind that won't allow her to remember her life as a kitten. There was only one thing that she could remember and that was a kit named Orchidkit or at least that what she hopped his name was. She didn't know if it was exactly right but she didn't want to doubt it too much. Huffing she decided that this was enough exploring for today. She rather not get caught by another cat and get attack once more. She had many lessons learning from her mistakes. Turning around she was just about to walk back until she heard rustling of leaves. Startled and on high alert she whipped her body back around. Her fur bristled and her back arched making herself look bigger. Her ears pinned on her head as she pulled her lips back before letting out a loud hiss. Through her panic she lowered her defense only a little before staring him down. He did look awfully familiar but she couldn't pin point who he was. Then a memory flashed in her eyes making her eyes widen in shock. She took a slow step forward and took a small sniff of him then another and another. She couldn't deny the fact that it was him it was really him he was bigger than she remembered and she backed away. "Orchidkit?", she mewled back.
