I'm going to die!" He hissed back, either brave or stupid by the fact that he openly challenged the much fitter cat. He did think he was dead meat... However, capture would be a humiliation he would fear more than death. Fear started to creep back to him, and because his legs were too messed up to claw, he snapped his teeth wildly to try and keep her away.
