A black she-cat and her friend, a rose-gold coloured she-cat, stood at the edge of the gathering, watching the clan cats talk and play and joke. But that's not why the two were there. The black queen felt out of place here, not just because of where she was from, but because of her name as well... Oh why are we even here? We shouldn't be doing this!
"Hey, you look nervous" the other queen said to her friend. "Yeah...I'm starting to regret this..."
"Don't! It's too late to turn back now!" the sandy she-cat snapped.
"And don't you leave behind my back and just abandon me here without me knowing...there's no. Backing. Out. Got it? We're gonna do it, and get it over with..."
"Calm down DesertMoon! It's alright for you, you'll fit right in! Now don't do anything suspicious that'll attract attention...if you get attacked, you'll probably lose your kits and my kits will lose me...neither of us are in any fit state to fight right now..."
DesertMoon just nodded while the black she-cat shifted nervously on her paws.
