The thought of staying in some... Clan was rather unappealing to Butch. He was a lone cat, at least when his sisters were out of the picture... Now that they were in, he had to protect them. It was no matter to Butch in the end. His fur prickled as he heard the new arrival's voice, the tom arching his neck to see who was talking. He narrowed his eyes at them once he saw unsheathed claws, the tom hissing threateningly at their likely attacker.

"And just who do you think you are, huh? If you're going to greet us like that, we deserve answers first." He must've been a clan cat, as he had mentioned their territory in his warning. Were all clan cats this rude? He felt quite offended, really. Butch found himself flexing his own claws in response to the cat's threat, ears flattened. He had a feeling Maple wouldn't approve of his lack of diplomacy, but he didn't care. This cat had angered him, and had deserved his fury!

"Maple. Are you sure about this?" He grumbled to his sister as his back arched. "I don't think they're very fond of visitors, here." He glanced at the clan cat once more, hostility still present in his gaze.
