The medicine cat apprentice stared up at his new leader as the tabby explained that Ashstar hadn't died but rather just stepped down. Northpaw thought of this for a moment, but he was aware he didn't know his former leader enough to know if this was what Ashstar would really do. The young to hi some started to hi some believe that Ratnight couldn't all that bad, anointing how he'll try his best to lead the clan - and he seemed to her to hourly believe in what he was saying, wanting to rebuild the clan from the ashes the fire had left them in. But to he orly then he continued. North froze as Ratnight stayed they will no longer be upholdin their original beliefs, beliefs that the clans have followed for generations. The charcoal tom gave a slight growl escaped him, narrowing his amber orbs at Ratnight once he claimed that he was following the pawsteps that the other clans were leaving. Why is everyone taking this name? Are they all really against Starclan? And what against out Windclan... is someone else leader now? Someone with the same suffix against our traditional beliefs? North shook his head at these thoughts, once again trying to kill of his suspicions yet failing again as well. Bt he remained silent, continuing to hold his thoughts in silence - mostly out if uncertainty towards his new leader. Movement out of the corner of his autumn orbs made him turn to a calico. He watched in shock as Spottedpelt clawed at her own head. Seeing the blood, the young healer had the impulse to move towards her and offer some help, yet for some reason didn't. Part of him feared she would attack him - or at least lash out - if he approached her. It took a few heartbeats, but Noryhpaw realized that she reacting so horribly partially due to the fact that Ashstar was her own brother, but he didn't understand why was acting in an extreme level. He didn't know that she had lived under Eternalstar's rule, didn't know what was going on or the horrors she feared was looming ahead.
