Alex's face heated up as she felt a hand on her cheek.
Well, she hadn't been expecting that, to say the least. "Um...thank you, I suppose," she smiled awkwardly, her body tensing up. What was she supposed to do? Pull away? Stay where she was? Her mind was a jumble of thoughts that didn't go together, trembling ever so slightly.
