Mango, the Dusk Syndicate trainee, is fighting valiently at the Gathering. At Halite's command, Mango stormed into battle pushing and shoving her way through the fray. She fought as hard as she could. She lost one, and won one... at a price. Mango was fighting as hard as she could to beat Mistyfoot, the warrior, but the worst thing Mango could imagine happened. Mango accidentally killed Mistyfoot. Mango flees from the scene, horrified by what she's done, and seeks refuge in a city. Mango, living a life in shame in a dark alleyway, learns an important lesson: forgive and forget. Mango forgave herself for accidentally killing the warrior, and tried to forget the mistake she made. More at peace, Mango exits the alleyway for the first time since she arrived. [City Cat] approaches Mango cautiously. They had never seen her around before. They ask her questions, making her more and more on edge. [City Cat] walks with Mango as she tries to escape, and asks her more questions. Mango snaps at [City Cat] causing them to leave. Once more filled with guilt, Mango returns to the alleyway. A few sunrises pass, and a visitor arrives at the alleyway. [Alley Cat] struts into the alleyway, seemingly unaware of Mango. Mango emerges from the shadows and faces the [Alley Cat]. [Alley Cat] asks Mango several questions, and begins to walk toward her. Mango then panicks, strikes at [Alley Cat], and runs away. Mango finds a new alley, away from the stranger, and lives there for a week. Mango learns another life lesson: patience. Mango learns to be more patient around others, even if they annoy her. Yet again, a new visitor arrives. [Kittypet] calls to Mango from a window above. Mango talks to [Kittypet] with more patience than before. [Kittypet] begins to tease her instead of talk back. Put Mango is impatient in the other section. They call her many different harsh names, and leave. Now infuriated, Mango storms back to her nest. Mango curls up in her nest, and thinks back on life before the Gathering. That's when Mango realizes how much she misses her home. She missed training, she missed sharing tongues with her fellow Syndicates, she missed her mentor, and she missed her family. But she could never return to them. The Dusk Syndicate vanished after the Gathering. It was the worst mistake Halite had made. Mango is visited for the last time by [Old Cat]. Mango reluctantly greets [Old Cat], and they greet her back. [Old Cat] speaks about training Mango on how to fight and hunt in the city, and Mango, after a bit of convincing, agrees. [Old Cat] first teaches her how to hunt rats and steal twoleg food. After they finish, Mango is taught how to fight like a rogue. Fascinated by [Old Cat]'s ways, Mango trains with them for a moon. One day, [Old Cat] becomes very sick. Mango does everything she could, but [Old Cat] dies. Grief stricken, Mango decides it's finally time to leave the city. Mango ventures out of the city, and into the forest.
Roles
City Cat
Must be talkative and curious. The City Cat will bombard her with questions like no tomorrow, such as: "Who are you?" "Where do you live?" etc. The City Cat will have an impact on Mango's life.
Alley Cat
Much like the City Cat, the Alley Cat will ask her many many questions, but with less energy. The Alley Cat will get hurt by Mango and run away, but they will have an impact on Mango nonetheless.
Kittypet
Must be mean and selfish. The Kittypet will throw insults at her like no tomorrow. The Kittypet will have an impact on Mango's life.
Old Cat
Must be wise and kind. The Old Cat will make a big impact on Mango. They must be willing to train Mango in hunting and fighting, but not enough to teach her Clan skills. I plan on making Mango join a Clan if possible.
