Passionblaze made a scowl, but as quickly as it went, it disappeared. He could feel the feathering of the wind tickling his pelt, making him fluffed up for a moment. Being near the borders - near these borders was an unpleasant experience to him. Especially since the unfortunate events that happened at the last gathering. Albeit, Passionblaze buried his worries down, and he continued to stomp around the place on heavy set paws. "Keep yourselves focused. Do not get distracted." He kept his voice low, his eyes ahead. He knew being at the borders of Windclan would cause hackles to be raised. No thunderclanners should easily forget that Blazingstar cried war on them. Now, they all must pay attention around these corners.
When you were at the borders of anrivaling clan, you must always keep watch. Passionblaze was a kind tom. Very understanding, but even he didn't feel too much of a trusting nature towards these cats. Windclanners were conniving, vindictive ones, full of trouble nowadays. Where was the peace when you needed it? The board shouldered tom sat down on his haunches. While his clanmates were scattered around them, heeding their job, he kept a guardful eye in case anything should happened.

Piperwing bounced through the forest behind Passionblaze. His words caused her to smile, noticing that she was indeed one of three she-cats in a four cat patrol. The small molly was in a perpetually good mood and that extended even to the border patrol she was on. The upcoming battle between the clans could not even bring down her mood. Piperwing walked only slightly behind Passionblaze, giving her a perfect view of the tom. She hadn’t heard of him much before his promotion to deputy, and still had barely talked to him. He seemed nice enough and the extroverted feline was itching to become friends with the flame colored Somali. Piperwing thought about starting a conversation with him, but she realized that atmosphere was more serious than one that called for a frivolous conversation. They neared the border and Piperwing shook her head, clearing those thoughts away. Now that she was focused on the task at hand, the feline felt her mood turn more serious, though she was still happy enough.
