Maplestrike plucked a mouse from the kill pile and carried over to the edge of camp, where she then settled down to eat.

Whispertrout placed his paws down softly. He didn’t want to alarm the crow he was hunting. When the tom was close enough, she munched his muscles and pounced. He slammed his paw down on its spine as it began to fly away and killed it.
