Flickerlight preferred to do things in three's. Admittedly, this one was simply a cast out in the dark. He was unsure of how the apprentice would react and had not quite bothered to do much insight. He figured he would place doubt, at least something to rest in the back of younger's mind when the time came. It was entertaining to see how cats would react, the differentiate. Flickerlight's picked victim was Duskpaw.

If these three proved to be inefficient, the Dark Forest warrior would only coax more or figure out something different. The boundary between StarClan and their personal hellscape was weakening. That could prove to be entertaining and something to exploit.

With a sigh, he patiently rolled a mossball back and forth between his brown paws. Flickerlight sat in the mist of a meadow while he waited for Duskpaw to fall asleep. Surely, it would have to happen eventually and the tom could be patient.
