Her eyes fluttered open and she yawned. She heard him purring and licked his ear and tucked her face in towards his stomach so he could not see her embarrassed smile. Her purr was almost as loud as the thunder outside their protective den.

The young, dark-furred warrior smiled warmly as she slowly awoke next to him, giving an adorable yawn. Sproutwhisker have a satisfied, little purr as she licked his ear and tucked her face towards his belly, making the tom-cat chuckle. Talonfang’s own affectionate purrs vibrated against him, which made the male give a relaxed sigh, hoping the day would never end. He then thought of something mischievous and grabbed her by the scruff, switching their position to where he was on his back and she laid on top of him. Sproutwhisker purred up at her, giving the she-cat a little teasing wink and a ‘mrow’ of approval, giving her soft chest fur a soft stroke of his tongue.
