firmly insisted on escorting him to the medicine cat's den, once she had noticed his chest wound. It wasn't bleeding anymore, but didn't seem to be healing up either... did these things usually take so long? It had been at least a moon now, since they had gone on that patrol where Winterpaw was attacked. He vaguely remembered one (or maybe multiple) of his patrolmates telling him to get it checked out, but it didn't seem that severe. Lightningstorm was likely very busy, he should only go if he was incapacitated or seriously injured... and it wasn't serious if the bleeding stopped. Right?
Winterpaw silently waited for Lightningstorm's reply, deciding it was best not to protest more then he already had. If Silverrose insisted, he shouldn't try to stop her. It was kind of her to care about her clanmates, even if Winterpaw probably didn't need it. He attempted to look as fine as possible for when Lightningstorm came, ignoring the dizziness and warm feeling beginning to overtake him- he didn't know why his body kept... doing that.
