Was this a lesson? It sounded a lot like being ordered around. Despite his hesitance mentally, he didn't hesitate physically. Nodding in understanding he slowly and silently stalks over toward the nest and nestles himself amongst the ferns nearby. His ears stay alert and he watches the entrance to the nest closely, not moving a muscle aside from the way the tip of his tail twitches anxiously. Eagerly. This was his first hunt. There was absolutely no way he was going to screw this up.
