when hawkfur finally noticed locustpaw glaring, the 'paw glanced away and straightened his shoulders. tch- no, don't come over here. agh hell.

locustpaw glanced up when hawkfur spoke, expression softening a small bit.

he tched, lifting his chin. "at least you're not dead, old man. be a real shame for me to have to find a new mentor." he mumbled, which was the closest thing to 'glad you're alive' that hawkfur was gonna get.

with that being said, locustpaw turned his attention around the massive clearing.

"i never knew the world was so. . . big." it felt silly to say, but it was true. his entire life until a moon or so ago had been spent cooped up in camp. he couldn't possibly have fathomed the true scope of the world (which, unbeknownst to the warriors, was even larger than they thought.)

"d'ya think there will be trouble tonight? i hope so. screw starclan's peace treaty every month crap. i want to see some action- somth'n interesting tonight."
