Not only did he get a deputy mentor, but also that Blazingpaw gets to go to The Gathering! He heard lots of tales, both good and bad about The Gathering. He heard that each leader gives an announcement about their own clan. Oh, Blazingpaw couldn’t keep himself from purring and buzzing with energy as he imagined every cat's faces as they heard that he, Blazingpaw, is being trained by the Copperfire, deputy of ThunderClan.
The new apprentice groaned and rolled his eyes as Sparrowstar lectured him and his clanmates. “Keep on talking and we’ll all be as old as you,” he remarked quietly. As the leader finished her lecture and leapt onto the Seastones, Blazingpaw gave a relief sigh and padded away from his group to find any apprentices he could boast to.
