They formed friendships, they created bonds... but they also formed hateful relationships, suffered abuse and lived under an almost tyrannical rule. Some horses loved humans, others despised them. But then one day, the humans disappeared. No explosions, no awful diseases, no wars. They were just... gone. Many horses perished, locked in stables, or tied up in inescapable positions. But others survived. Escaping their tethers, jumping their pasture fences, it didn't matter. They got out. Instinct then took over. Those champion stallions who had been kept separate from mares suddenly felt a desperate need to make herds, those pet mares that had never felt freedom or companionship felt the need to travel the plains with others of their kind. A number of horses found their way to this vast plains, the area large enough to hold a number of herds. Now safe with those of their own kind, no longer having to worry about keeping their humans happy, they felt that they had found paradise... Name: Mirror Nickname: None Show name: Smoke and Mirrors Gender: Female Age: Nine years Breed: Andalusian Appearance: Ref Personality: Mirror is slightly narcissistic, still hanging onto the memories of humans because that was simply how she was raised. She has gotten a bit over this, though at times she will still talk about humans longingly. Mostly, she hasn't gotten used to the wild in all, and at times she's forgetful. Other times, she can be extremely fretful, and she gets nervous standing in a place for too long. To feel safe, in her mind, she has to always be moving, no matter if it's just pacing. As you can guess, she has problems with courage, and it's hard for her to trust others. Life before humans disappeared: Born in captivity in the US, Mirror has always been quite a profitable race horse. She's won many races, though nothing too major. Nickname: Nightingale Age: 4 years old Breed: Fell Pony Gender: Mare (Female) Height: 5' 146" Coat Colour: Black coat Markings: None Personality: Raven tends to be too honest at times, and she can't help but feel like she needs to move at certain time of day, midday mostly, because she feels like she needs to go on a hunt with her master. Raven can also be a bit shy, especially around the ones she likes more then a friend. She likes to swim, it cools her off and she does tend to eat flowers sometimes, because they are so tasty to her. Raven is a nonsocial horse, at times. Likes: She loves moths, strangely. She also loves the smell of tree sap along with lavender flowers. Raven likes the night stars, and the bright moon. Large open spaces makes her feel safe, as well as a friend with her by her side. Dislikes: She doesn't like going in caves, and she won't get close to a snake or bee hive. She also doesn't like wasps, hornets, or anything that looks like them. Fears: Raven is scared of snakes, bees, and spiders. She is also scared of caves as well as small places. Life Before Humans Disappeared: Raven was used as a hunting horse, out in the country, as she was born and raised on the same farm she used live in. She often hunted foxes, birds, rabbits, and other animals. She was often groomed after a hunt, which happened frequently. So, she did live an almost pampered lifesyle. Markings: White markings typical of a paint horse Personality: Levelheaded, problem solver, caring, friendly, shy, nervous, protective, honest, loyal. He keeps his cool most the time and is quick to solve problems, no matter what he is faced with. He is very caring and friendly, protective of those close to him. He is skittish, nervous, and shy in some situations, having a tendency to rear up or hide. He is honest and will tell you the truth. He is loyal, and will always help out. Likes: Helping others, the night time, breezes, rainfall, friends Dislikes: Fights, humans, thunder, bees Fears: Dying, humans coming back, mountain lions Life Before Humans Disappeared: He was born in a quiet patch of woods close to a ranch. One of the humans corralled him into a pen and sold him to a family who did pole racing. They trained him, branded him, and gave him his name. He became a prized show horse and moved from place to place. He was never really pampered, just trained to pole race, and let loose in pastures. Once the humans disappeared, he broke free of the rope tethering him to a fence and ran off. |

show name: thunder and lightning age: 6 years breed: friesian horse gender: mare (female) height: 17 hands (yes its possiible for them to be that tall, i made sure) coat color: pure black appearance: http://horses.wikia.com/wiki/Friesian the picture on there is what she looks like. personality: thunder is a happy mare who would rather be jumping and running then standing still. she is a social horse who will talk to anyone despite what others say, she is not afraid to go against rules or break them even if she gets in trouble. thunder will kick or rear up to anyone being mean to her friends and or loved ones and push who was ever being mean to them away till they get the idea she does NOT want them near he/she. thunder is honest and cant really tell a lie but her loyalty and faith makes up for that. life before humans disappeared: thunders parents where was bred by a family who did races and horse shows. at a young age she had started her training jumping over obstacles and dodging obstacles while running. at the age of 3 years she had done her first race and won first place. from that point on her entire life was about running and jumping, she would go to races or horse shows and try to win and after it was over she would return home and begin training again and again everyday till her next race or a horse show was up or till it was time to sleep. the day when humans disappeared she had waited for her rider to appear but after a day had passed and not even seeing a human, she had broken free of her rope that they used to keep her to the fence and ran away into the wild. @Wolfheart2329 |
