DoveKit was a lively Kit, living with her brother SmokeKit, her father BrambleThrush and mother GoldenPoppy. She grows up to be a lively Apprentice. So excited to become a warrior.

When that day arrives, the worst of tragedies happens. During the night Warrior ceremony, an unknown attacker jumps on DovePaw and raking its claws down the left side of her face. She screams. And screams.

When she awakes, she finds out she has been scarred for life. Literally. The attacker was never found, unknown identity.

Her new name is DoveScar.

She lives depressed, distant, mocked by her Clan.

Then, one day, there is a new arrival.

A tom going by the name of NightPelt, origin unknown. He starts to pay attention to DoveScar. He helps her, talks to her like everyone else. DoveScar becomes more lively, active, and involved.

Then, one day, when they're alone on patrol, he says to her, "DoveScar, I love you. Will you be my mate?"

They become lovers that night.

He shows her love, care, respect, and kindness. They seem so happy, so for each other.

But one day, on patrol again, he backs her in a corner, snarling. He reveals the truth: it was him who had attacked her during her warrior ceremony.

He has killed many.

She was next.

They launch into a full out battle.

She gets pinned down. Just when she thinks she's a goner...

A warrior patrol comes along, and fights him off.

DoveScar is devastated after that, even when NightPelt is caught and killed.

So she knows what she must do.

She goes to the lake, and, having no knowledge of swimming, drowns herself.
