Caliapaw: We Were Meant To Be Leaders

We were meant to be leaders.
We were meant to be followers.
We were meant to be peacemakers.
We were meant to be warriors.
We were meant to have a friend.
We were meant to have an enemy.
We were meant to be happy.
We were meant to be sad.
We were meant to be brave.
We were meant to be scared.
We were meant to save a life.
We were meant to let go of a life.
We were meant to learn our path.
We were meant to change our destiny.
We were meant to fall in love.
We were meant to say goodbye.

ATTENTION: THIS IS A LONG-TERM PLOT. ABOVE IS SOMETHING I CAME UP WITH FOR THE GUIDELINE OF THIS PLOT. THERE WILL BE INDIVIDUAL THREADS FOR EACH OF THESE THINGS, WHEN ONE PART OF THE PLOT HAS FINISHED THE NEXT THREAD WILL BE PUBLISHED. THIS PLOT IS BASICALLY SHAPING PART OF CALIAPAW'S LIFE. THINGS THAT HAPPEN OUTSIDE IT WILL, OF COURSE, STILL AFFECT HER BUT NOT QUITE IN THE SAME WAY. I WILL HAVE A STAR BESIDE ALL ROLES THAT WILL BE USED IN OTHER PARTS OF THIS LONG TERM PLOT.

Link to Caliapaw's bio

Caliapaw is the new medicine cat of ThunderClan. Now, still being fairly young and new to being a medicine cat, she hasn't seen anywhere near the things other cats have. She has a pretty good understanding that life isn't fair, however; so far she's lost her mentor, and a patient. She's pretty sure the world is working against her. And things are about to get a lot more difficult.

We Were Meant To Be Leaders

Caliapaw's got a few friends. She has close friends, best friends, and just plain old friends that she hangs out with sometimes. But she distances herself from other cats and she doesn't seem to like being touched very much. There are some occasions when she's good with it, especially if she really likes a cat, but it's never been her favorite thing. She hangs out with her friends - most of the time. And her family, she's close to her family as well. But she never shows much interest in expanding her circle of friends, or even trying to get to know her clanmates very well. She gets a pretty good idea of them when they come in for healing - and that's all she needs to know. Except [PATIENT 1] won't leave her alone. Anytime she leaves the medicine cat den, it feels like they're right there, energetic and excited and ready to play. Caliapaw ignores them. They're younger then she is, not by much, but they are young enough where they're doing stupid things without realizing they're stupid. Some cats her age are still doing that, but this cat more then the others.

[PATIENT 1] comes with Caliapaw the next time she goes herb-picking. As an "escort" even though she would be better equipped to fighting then they are. She's getting more and more annoyed with them constantly being around, and when they keep chattering while she's trying to work, she snaps at them and tries to send them away. When [PATIENT 1] finally does leave her alone, Caliapaw continues to work, happy to at last have some sort of peace. But her happiness is interuppted as [MOTHER] approaches. [MOTHER] is the mother of [PATIENT 1], the cat Caliapaw snapped at. She isn't too happy about the way her kit was just treated, and she has something to say about it. "You should be a good role model for young cats who look up to you!" Are her final words, or something along those lines before she leaves. Caliapaw thinks about what [MOTHER] told her. She hadn't ever thought about it that way. That there could actually be younger cats who looked up to her, who thought of her as amazing and super cool and stuff like that. So, she decides to start something new.

Even though she still dislikes kits, she goes into the nursery one morning and finds [KIT 1], [KIT 2], and [KIT 3]. Caliapaw talks to them about what it's actually like being a medicine cat, and surprisingly enough, she doesn't hate it. The three kits become almost like younger siblings to her - almost. She spends some of her time with them and answers questions they might have to ask her, and it's all thanks to [MOTHER] and [PATIENT 1] that she's become a leader. A role model for the younger cats who do look up to her.

Alright! So, the first part of this plot is a little boring; but, some of these roles are going to play a HUGE part in Caliapaw's life later. For the roleplayers of [KIT 3], [MOTHER], and [PATIENT 1] - I will PM you letting you know if your character is chosen and telling you some details about the future of the plot. You can then decide if you still want to keep the role or not. Now, on to the roles!

Attention: Starred roles will have a future in another part - or more - of the plot!
All roles MUST be in THUNDERCLAN. No exceptions!!

[STRIKEPATIENT 1: energetic, very happy, looks up to Caliapaw.*[/STRIKE]
MOTHER: anything goes - preferred to be motherly and a little tough. Mother of Patient 1.*
KIT 1: anything goes
KIT 2: anything goes
KIT 3: on the shyer side, very interested in being a medicine cat, very sweet and the closest to Caliapaw*

Re: Caliapaw: We Were Meant To Be Leaders

Of course I can't resist applying for the shyest kit!

Name:
Tumblekit

Age:
2 moons

Gender:
Male

Appearance:
Tumblekit is an orange, black and white kitten. He is thin and looks a bit frail, but he is strong in some aspects. His fur is rather fluffy and spiked, giving him a tough look in a way, but this little tom wouldn't hurt a fly.

Personality:
Tumblekit verbally plays with his siblings, teasing and joking, and yet he never really plays. He never sleeps too close to anyone, as he does not like to be touched in any way, shape, or form. It's almost like a fear. Playing is no exception. In fact, he hates to play. He always gets hurt and ends up hiding from his family in desperation to stop being hurt. Tumblekit is also very clumsy due to this. His gracefulness would have developed as he played, but he's more keen on dodging and tumbling away. Tumblekit says what he thinks alot of the time. By accident or on purpose, Tumblekit doesn't mind tk state his opinion. Say something he doesn't like, and he will tell you. And you can trust he's honest, because he has a fear of lying and being caught. He will tell you hard, nasty truth, but if it's too hard to tell, he may try to lie, albeit bad at it. He can try to keep your secret, and he may take it to his grave, but you'll at least have to remind him to keep it. He is a bit forgetful sometimes. Tumblekit isn't all negativity, however. He's an optimist! He always looks on the bright side, even if everything is all lost. However his optimism didn't save him from what he had saw the night of the Gathering. Tumblekit saw the Gathering patrol return with scratches and wounds. Some were dying and some were just painful. In his eyes, it was horrifying. His siblings always spoke of becoming warriors, but how could they put themselves in this kind of danger? It was just plain scary!

However, when Caliapaw comes to talk with the kits, Tumblekit is suddenly aware of a life outside of the warrior violence. While they listen, Tumblekit seems to edge forward with every word. Healing instead of wounding? That sounded amazing! It seemed perfect for the clumsy, shy kit. Tumblekit tries to sink in everything Caliapaw says, and eventually begins to look up to the medicine cat. Tumblekit would try his hardest to gain more information about medicine cats. He may even try to sneak into the medicine den! However, he would get caught quickly, as he would trip over something and fall with a rather loud THUMP! Of course, the kit would be embarrassed and scamper back to the nursery, overjoyed by the fact that he got a little glimpse of the medicine den.

Role:
Kit 3

Other/Questions:
Oop! After reading Calia's bio I just noticed both Tumble and Calia don't like to be touched. XD
I can change it if it bothers you or anyone.
Welp bye!

Re: Caliapaw: We Were Meant To Be Leaders

I briefly considered applying Starpaw as the Patient, but she isn't energetic enough to qualify for the cat, and Birchfur is honestly the worst mother in the history of terrible mothers.

Re: Caliapaw: We Were Meant To Be Leaders

Ooh, never done one of these before! Name: Marbledkit
Age: 3 moons
Gender: Female
Appearance: A white kitten with a faint cream backstripe and a light gray tail. She has cream, gray, and chocolate brown speckles under her ice blue eyes and along her forelegs.
Personality: Marbledkit is an excellent listener, and is always ready to give her opinion on things. Though she isn't a excellent talker she is, at least, good at it. She is very brave, and feels that she must become a warrior to protect others. She is a very energetic kit, and often wonders about what it would be like outside of camp.
Role: Kit 2
Other/Questions: Do you have to already be in Thunderclan? If so, then I'm out I guess.

Have to stop making TC cats

Name + Link:Ivorythorn

Role: Mother

Other/Questions: Just a quick addition describing her as a mother: Ivorythorn is full of herself yes, but has even more of a big head when it comes to her children. Her blood and kin directly from her are her life and she would hurt anyone who dared hurt her small babies. She however does not spoil her children. Although they are held in high regards in her life and she's sees them as more important than herself (thats saying a lot) she will sometimes treat them like the tough nanny in order to get her kits to learn life lessons and such. Only she's allowed to use tough love on her babies. No one else ;)

Form Without Link

Name: Antlerkit - Antlerpaw - Antlerwish? Antlerfuzz? Anterleap?

Age: 2 Moons

Gender: Male

Appearance: Dis one Antlerkit is rather tall for his age. Not lanky tall where its awkward but regal tall like descended from royalty. His fur matches his long limbs and drapes to the forest floor as he walks. The tom has a snow white underbelly, muzzle and paws, with a cream-brown outlining those shapes as well as the ebony streaks that flank his body. His face has various delicate strips that make his head look small and larger oddly perfect triangular ears. His dull green eyes are framed by the aforementioned cream-brown.

Personality: The best I can describe it as is, George Washington. Although seemingly a perfect leader the tom is soft spoken and self conscious. People look to him to be a strong individual as he displays that with finesse thanks to his unusual tall stature and respectful demeanor, but Antlerkit would much rather just be a part of the crowd. He does his best to blend in, but because of his height he stands out more than other kits. In response to this he does very little to make himself seem "decadent" often leaving burs in his fur to make his persona seem 'shaken' or unapproachable. He feels his opinion meant very little and would not give it unless asked, and even then he would only supply a minimal answer. Antlerkit tends to ask many questions, as he prefers to get the whole story before jumping to the next conclusion, and never picks a side. He'd much rather sit first and make a plan, then execute the plan deliberately with little to no interruptions. He rarely raises his voice but when doing so it is usually in the name for the 'lesser cat.'

Role: Kit 3

Other/Questions: I prefer this smol child over Ivorythorn :)
