Dustpaw's death (short story)
 

Lionhearts point of view
The cold Leafbare wind bit at his fur. He shivered,his golden fur on end. His green eyes glanced over to a few Apprentices playing on the ice. Among them was his apprentice,Dustpaw. The other apprentices were Foxpaw and Thrushpaw. He purred in amusement at them as they leaped around,practing battle moves. Suddenly the unthinkable happened. The Ice cracked.

Dustpaw's point of view
A froze as the sound of ice cracking came under me. Pure horror filled Foxpaw's expression. I then plunged into cold water. A russet tabby,Foxpaw,tried to grab me. More ice cracked and a brown shape,Thrushpaw,fell into the current. Luckily with help from Foxpaw Thrushpaw was able to pull himself up. Dustpaw wasn't so lucky. He sunk down helplessly. His vision dulled as a snow colored She-cat approached him.

(Yep I know that was as short as heck)
