He asked, voice taut with him fighting to stay calm. The cat behind him training his apprentice bothered him. He had never had a decent relationship with the cat, and Ebonypaw's failing to speak up did not ease his temper in any way. @Dux

Ebonypaw narrowed his eyes and flicked his tail at Mumblenose and Heatherpaw, "Do you not like them?" He asked, grooming down his chest fur. The tom gave him a slightly amused look, Ah, so my great mentor has a temper eh? The apprentice snorted in laughter but covered it up with a cough, giving Singenight an apologetic look, "Sorry, I don't know where that came from." He purred jokingly, laughter filling his amber gaze.

Singenight narrowed his eyes in scorn. Laughter wasn't exactly helping either. "No, I do not mind the apprentice. It's the warrior who bothers me." He said shortly, not adding in extra and detail. The less he knows the less explaining I have to do. He thought. The leader kept his ears turned back and lowered, a sign he wasn't exactly pleased.
(keep prodding..... :3 Singe just loves to be annoyed xD)

(Haha will do)
"The warrior bothers you? How so?" Ebonypaw asked, sitting down and wrapping his tail around his paws. The apprentice's gaze flicked to Mumblenose then back to Singenight with a small smirk. The tom, flicked an ear, his unsheathed claws digging into the earth. He rose an eyebrow at his stance and suppressed a laugh.

Singenight suppressed a sigh. "It's a long story, but Mumblenose and I go back a long way. It's pointless for your knowledge." He said not casting another glance to the tom behind him. Then he scanned over Ebonypaw's expression and stance. "Do I have to continue?" He asked, frustration lacing through his voice.

Ebonypaw purred in amusement, "Could you? Although I'm a 'paw I could do with a story." He shifted his paws and dug his claws into another patch of cool earth, using his tail to flatten the heather around himself. He returned his tail to cover his paws, flicking an ear in Mumblenose's direction, "Start from the beginning?" He asked, giving Singenight a grin.

Flarerunner sighed, following his gaze to the two dens. "Unfortunately, yes I think they do. I think a lot of them think he will make the other clans stop looking down on us." Yes, maybe the clans think Windclan is weak, but we can fix that with more training! If we trained better for battle, then we could take the clans by surprise and show them we are strong!

Singenight released a sigh of discontent. Shouldn't have asked that. He thought, now angry with himself. "Mumblenose, " he said flicking his tail to the other Savannah cat's direction. "Was my biological father." He said reluctantly. "He mated with a loner named Bliss, so he said. Together they gave birth to me." He said. "I grew up a little and was weaned by her. She told me some stories, but none of it mattered in the end. Bliss gave me to my father and left. Left us. Left me." Here he stopped, letting it sink in a little to the apprentice.

Thornpelt's mind flashed back to Singenight taking on an apprentice and murmured, "I hope that his apprentice is alright.." He rose his head in confusion and looked around the camp, "Tigerkit?" He asked in confusion.
Tigerkit skidded to a stop and whipped around, "Thornpelt!" She purred bouncing over to the tom, her tail high in the air. The kit looked like a mini Thornpelt as she sat, smiling, "I got lost for a while but now I'm here. Isn't that great?"

Flarerunner sighed with a nod. Singenight is sure to spread all his rediculous thoughts to his apprentice. She glanced up at Thornpelt as he rose, looking around for whoever this Tigerkit was.

Flarerunner felt her ears snap back in surprise as she pin pointed Tigerkit. "She looks just like you!" She exclaimed with a gasp. I didn't even think that he might have a mate! The molly shuffled a bit in her spot, an uncomfortable feeling growing in her stomach, though she wasn't sure what was causing her to feel so strangely. "Hello Tigerkit, nice to meet you. I'm Flarerunner," she forced out, trying to keep a polite tone as her voice wavered slightly.
