A black tom with amber eyes padded through the deserted streets of Twolegplace. Crow was what he called himself, due to his dark pelt. The loner paused his paw steps, perking his ears to listen to the noises around him. He tasted the air for any scents, then continued onwards. He then paused again, his tail gently sweeping from side to side, his eyes wide. He had been right. He had scented another cat nearby. Crow padded in the direction of the scent, which led him to a large twoleg den, obviously abandoned due to the overgrown yard. The loner tilted his head softly to one side, his amber gaze studying the twoleg den before him. Should he go inside? He noticed a large hole in the side of the wall, and he sat where he was, resting his tail lightly over his paws, contemplating. He sighed and got to his paws, shaking his head. He slowly padded towards the den, his gaze darting around with caution. He was sure the unfamiliar cat scent was coming from this den, as the scent was strongest here. Crow slipped through the hole, reappearing on the inside. He blinked, gazing around. He slowly crept across the dusty, dirty floor, then paused. "H- hello?" He called out.

Crow startled as the bigger cat appeared, and he blinked his amber eyes slowly, his gaze full of interest, then he took a paw step back, his tail tip twitching. He kneaded his paws into the floor nervously, finding himself struggling to find something to say. He wasn't a very sociable cat, so he didn't talk much. He was, however, quite curious, which got him into strange situations, and he got into trouble a lot of the time, even though it was always just innocent curiosity. He gazed down at his paws a moment before glancing up at the bigger tom. "I... I was exploring the Twolegplace, and curiosity must have gotten the better of me... s... sorry, if... if you want me to, I... I can leave..." He mewed, turning to go. It was obvious from his drooping tail and slumped shoulders that he was exhausted, but there was no way this tom would let him stay the night. Not after he had come in uninvited. He silently cursed himself for letting his curiosity take over, but he secretly hoped the other tom would let him stay.
