Re: May Gathering
In the midst of RiverClan was Thistlestep, hanging toward the edge of the crowd with no real interest in joining in. He was never a huge fan of gatherings to begin with, not after the one from a few moons back..
But a familiar gray pelt caught the corner of his eye, and mildly entertained by the thought of giving the she-cat some grief over their last meeting, he parted from RiverClan's crowd to join her. "Spitfire, was it?" Thistlestep took a seat beside her, not planning on following her if she decided this was the brunt of their discussion. He didn't want to harass her that much. "How's your injuries holding up? I know being stuck around camp can't be that much fun." She'd been wounded when she attacked him in the raid. He figured she'd be a more formidable foe at full health. [ @Casper ] ------- Falcondive was among the first to arrive with ShadowClan, but his interest was less on his own Clan and more on RiverClan. Looking for a familiar gray pelt, or two.. if Frozenpaw and his mother were attending. Despite how annoying the kit-apprentice could be, he wanted to see if he survived the aftermath of being dropped off again. [ open ] |

Her anxious blue eyes flicked from cat to cat, her gaze never lingering on one individual for too long. Just listen to the announcements, keep quiet, and then it's over, she thought to herself. Let's just get this over with. She noticeably flinched when she heard a voice speaking to her, too close for comfort. Somebody seeking her out at a gathering? Unheard of. Her attention directed to the older warrior, keeping her guard up, even though logically she knew he wouldn't dare try anything under the truce of the full moon. "It's Hailstorm," she corrected him, quiet but defiant. "And I'm healing just fine. We have a very capable medicine cat." She wasn't sure what tone of voice was appropriate, so she tried to keep it neutral. "And yourself?" |
Re: May Gathering
Flyfur slowly and softly padded in the back on the pack that followed Lionstar. She found a spot toward the back with soft foliage and made a make-shift resting spot. She sat in it and gazed around the Seastones.
She looked for any of her kittens, feeling horrible she hadn't been able to keep up with them lately. Nor had she kept up with her apprentice. Well, she really was behind wasn't she? @kittygirl @Socks @Puddletail @Estelle @Queenie @Tundra (anyone of you can approach her, but don't have to if you'd rather not; thank friends) |

[Open!]
The riverclan apprentice bounded in to the gathering, she forgot how pretty the sky was! Greenpaw found a nice place to sit and looked up at the sky. [Open!] Swiftpaw padded in slowly, his head hung low. So many cats! The small shadowclan apprentice was at his first gathering... |
Re: May Gathering
Bumblebelly wasn't really one for gatherings but he wanted to-- no, he needed to show his face, even if it would... cause issues with a few othe felines from his past clan but he couldn't hide away from confrontation forever.
The plan was to stay away from Shadowclan althougher but that was thrown out the window when his soft gaze fell upon a familiar feline; Falconpaw. Or at least that's what he was known as to the Shadowclan defect. Bumblebelly trotted up with a small bounce in his step, he must have been one of the very few cats he had yet to burn bridges with from the murky clan. "Falconpa--" Was he still an apprentice? Bumblebelly cleared his throat as he slowed his walking, approaching with a dip of his head, "Pleasure to see you're still kicking!" { @BILL. } |

[ THUNDERCLAN HAS ARRIVED! ] |
Re: May Gathering
-- @S-oft {Throw Lupin at us} @starshooter @RedHead -- Doepaw slowly made her way onto the sand from the soft forest floor. The blind apprentice was at her first gathering and it unnerved her a lot. She was afraid of being in such an open space, and wished that her mentor was close by....But alas he was not and she did not want to cling to him and stop him from socialising despite her own fears... Well if she'd had her way she wouldn't even had gone but she needed to. It would provide useful learning for her future and interacting with other cats from other clans, and so she went. Nodding ever so slightly her head she took very few careful steps out on the sand again... She wanted to avoid being run over by the excited warriors and so slowly made her ways to what smelled like a small stone. And there she sat down rubbing herself slightly on it to make sure it wouldn't accidentally poke out her eyes. |
Re: May Gathering
Lionpaw hustled as he looked around at the Seastones. It was vaguely salty and there were so many cats. It was his first Gathering and he might as well be jumping from excitement on the inside. A look towards the front of the crowd revealed thee cats. Duskstar was there, so they must've been the leaders. But weren't there four clans? Or was it five? No, it was four. Lionpaw wasn't sure which clan hadn't arrived yet. He could barely explain ThunderClan's scent and he didn't know what the other clans smelled like.
The apprentice had something else on his mind. It was unnerving and bothering him much more than necessary. Usually, Lionpaw could scent other cats easily, but with the crowdedness of the Gathering, trying to scent a single cat was just too much. If he knew anything about his friend, though, Frostpaw would be sitting somewhere near the back. Meanwhile, a white tom stood near the edge of the crowd. Frostpaw had a strong dislike towards chaos, which could be used to describe all four clans Gathering at once. It was honestly a miracle that peace had never been broken during a Gathering before. This was the third one he'd attended, but there was something about it that left him feeling uneasy. It had been another moon now. If Lionpaw hadn't joined a clan yet, then Frostpaw would assume he'd stopped trying altogether. That would help him let go of the past, but the white apprentice wasn't sure about never seeing his rambunctious friend again, not even knowing if he was alive or not. Warily, Frostpaw sat down and curled his tail against the ground. He had a feeling that this would be one of the longest Gatherings yet. |
Re: May Gathering
Owlfeather jostled with the rest of the clan, since he was a bit taller than the average Thunderclanner he was able to see that Riverclan and Shadowclan had arrived, he felt like a young kit again, he loved Gatherings! Sitting near the Seastones, he patiently waited for Windclan to arrive, tempers were high between Shadowclan and Thunderclan, as well as with Shadowclan and Riverclan he thought it best if Windclan should arrive soon. ... Doveheart watched as Thunderclan flooded in, her eyes followed every warrior, great! Now both of Shadowclan’s enemies were here! If only it had been Windclan! The only ones Icestar didn’t seem to hate! She noticed that Flintspirit was no-where nearby, this was an interesting development, where was the Thunderclan Deputy? |
Re: May Gathering
[All of the following cats are open for rp!]
Greenpaw the riverclan apprentice was still staring at the stars, wondering if any cat would talk to her this time. The tiny shadowclan apprentice was looking around nervously, this was Swiftpaw's first gathering! Would any cat like him? Pebblefur of thunderclan padded into the clearing, another gathering, another chance to meet cats. |
Re: May Gathering
Rainpaw and Cedarpaw stuck close together, since neither had a mentor they were on their own for this Gathering, it was also their FIRST Gathering, Rainpaw skirted to the edge, Cedarpaw ran up to him,
“What’s wrong? Don’t you want to talk to the other clans besides our grumpy Shadowclanmates?” Cedarpaw asked him, “No.” “Why?” “Because.” “Fine. Suit yourself!” And Cedarpaw waited for a cat to talk to. |
Re: May Gathering
Sugarpaw rolled up to the beach behind Duskstar and his other behind new clanmates. The sand felt ticklish against his chubby pinkie beans. Sugarpaw snorted his laughter at the sensation, his tiny tongue briefly poking out as he stared down at his bright paws in concentration, flexing his claws into the sand. Beaches are weird. {OPEN! Sugarpaw is Thunderclan} ----- Dogpaw shifted down into the beach for the second time now, it felt odd to be here again for some reason... Her life wasn't too much of a crap show when she was here last, but that was the beauty of the world. One moment your chilling with your trashy Thunderclan therapist and the next your lacking a tail. Oh well. Dogpaw took a place at the back of the gathering, she wasn't really in the mood for bumping shoulders with every feline in sight. {OPEN! Dogpaw is Shadowclan} |
Re: May Gathering
Ivorypaw nervously padded into the gathering. Surprised to see so many cats, she had become an apprentice a couple days ago and didn’t even know there were other clans until Breezehen mentioned the gathering is where Thunderclan meets with the other clans once a moon. What are other clans? Are there two other clans?
(Open! Ivorypaw is Thunderclan) Salmonsong noted that Duckpaw was off with new cats and glanced around for someone to talk too, she didn’t really want to socialize with Shadowclan, but what else could she do. Shadowclan was here, and she couldn’t avoid them forever...or could she. (OPEN! Salmonsong is Riverclan) Greyfur glanced around, looking for someone who seemed spiritual, he wanted to talk about Starclan with someone, but he didn’t know who to approach. (OPEN! Greyfur is Thunderclan) Eveningpaw arrived at the gathering, she scanned the clearing for someone to talk to, before settling her eyes on a warrior. She was 19 moons old, and would probably be assumed as a warrior by the other clans. She couldn’t decide if she should pretend to be a warrior, or be honest that she’s still an apprentice. (OPEN! Eveningpaw is Riverclan) |
Re: May Gathering
[ OPEN of ShadowClan! ] Sparrowpaw's chin was tilted high as she surveyed the gathering crowds of cats. But the haughtiness only lasted a brisk second- -"My first Gathering," she breathed, to no cat in particular. She was awestruck. There were far more cats in the territories than she had realized, and they all seemed to make her look like a complete mouse. Suddenly, abruptly, Sparrowpaw felt a weight of embarrassment lower onto her back: she was just an apprentice - and a small one at that. She had never experienced such a large crowd of cats, not even in the two raids she had participated. The unease was practically pulverizing. What would the Clans think of her? Would they like her, or would they not? Would she build herself a good reputation, or... She thrust the thoughts away, forcefully inclining her chin back up and taking a seat at the crowd's edge. |

Re: May Gathering
Berrypaw followed the rest of her clan to the gathering, eyes wide with excitement. She couldn't wait to meet some of the cats from other clans. But there was something she decided to do first. She noticed her adoptive mother, Flyfur, sitting alone, and decided it would be the perfect time to quickly catch up with her. Approaching the former queen, she mewed,"Hi, Flyfur! How've you been?" [Open! Sycamore is TC] Sycamorerain padded up to the Seastones with the rest of ThunderClan. Taking note that Sugarpaw seemed comfortable enough to socialize on his own, the brown and white warrior separated from his apprentice to talk with some other cats. His green eyes scanned the area, looking for somecat he could chat with. |

[clouded is thunderclan (:] Cloudedspark emerged from the undergrowth, eying the seastones. It had been awhile since her last gathering, this would be nice! She trotted down with a bounce in her step, green eyes sparkling. Perhaps she could talk to someone new. She was always up for a good chat. The first cat she saw seemed a bit lonely, so she spoke to them, "Hello, I’m Cloudedspark from ThunderClan." She gave a smile, trying to imply that her intentions were only good. They were, of course, Cloudedspark was a very friendly cat. She didn’t see Clan boundaries the way others did, and had no problem approaching others. She sat down close to the other cat, but made sure not to get too close. She’d been snapped at for that before. |
Re: May Gathering
@Cörruptly His first gathering as a warrior!Smiling wide Sootclaw ran into the crowd ...though he skidded to a halt....it was..her. Crazy pants. Though this was a gathering ...He was a adult now....she had no power over him!"hello crazy ! How's shadowclan fairing ? " his voice did sound deeper...so hopefully she wouldn't recognize him when he walked up behind her. ..... Padding on over, Lionwhisker took his place near the medicine cats once more. |
Re: May Gathering
[Open! Fogwhisper is Thunderclan] Fogwhisper shuffled her paws, scooting back by the trees. Nobody would see her here. And she did NOT want to get embarrassed in front of everyone else. Poor Frostpaw probably was feeling horrible. She wondered where the frightened apprentice was. Or, wait, no, Clawpaw! She had completely forgot to keep an eye on him. Where was he? Could he take care of himself? [Open! Cloverwish is Shadowclan] The grumpy molly sat in the middle of the clearing, glaring fiercely at anyone whom got too close to her. She'd only come to show respect for Icestar. The other clans could burn in hell, for all she cared. Except, maybe Windclan. They were weak. And relied on others for support. [Open! Frostpaw is Thunderclan] Frostpaw could feel her stomach doing cartwheels. Wow, her first Gathering. How could she be happy about it, though? She was stuck with a mentor who hated her, no friends, and, for Starclans sake, she'd been scorned in front of the whole clan for hating to fight! What was so bad about that? She sighed. even Lionwhisker hated her. So what was the point? |
Re: May Gathering
Duckpaw walked over to the beach and saw another cat laying in the sand. Eager to meet new people, she walked over to him. "Hi there!" she said with a huge smile full of joy.

"Oh. My. Goodness." Ripplepaw, for once, was a little speechless. The gathering area was so BIG! The ocean was so HUGE! There were so MANY cats! So many SMELLS! She needed to talk to everyone "Okay okay.... I need to meet everyone! Or at least one cat from each clan. I want to know what they're like! Let's go let's go! Rocketing through the clearing, Ripplepaw came to a screeching stop next to a stone where she spotted another apprentice, sand swirling around her from her abrupt stop. "You smell different. Alright. What's your name? I'm Ripplepaw, from Riverclan. Wait let me guess....." She plopped herself down on the opposite side of the stone, tapping her paw against it. "Thunderclan? I think that scent is Thunderclan. Are you Thunderclan?" @Arie @starshooter @S-oft |

Re: May Gathering
-- @Arie -- @RedHead --
Two calico's walked together through their Shadowclan clan mates. Rosedapple wasn't particularly excited for this gathering. Riverclan had just attacked them for attacking Thunderclan. Shadowclan took the slightest bit advantage over Windclan in their time of need. Right now, their home wasn't looking so good, surely they were the villains in the eyes of the other clans and that didn't sit well with the darker eyed twin. A tuft of red fur caught her eye and she recognised her apprentice. Leaving her sister for a moment she called out. "Scorchpaw!" catching up with the young tom she brushed her tail over his shoulder with a softer smile. "Hey, I know you're worried. About how you haven't made more friends among the apprentices, I couldn't give you much advice, but take a chance here and find some other apprentices your age to talk with. If you need me for anything I'll probably be sticking to Shadowclan cats. So go have fun and meet new cats, ok?" ======== -- @Bluepetal -- Brightwhisker walked in with the rest of Riverclan and pat at Harepaw's shoulder with his tail. "You're welcome to go hang out and meet other cats, don't feel like you got to stick to your own clan" Dawncloud followed in with the rest of Riverclan ======= Shadedpath came in with Thunderclan, her eyes swiftly following the Flintspirit, wanting to make sure he would be fine while here at the gathering for the first time in a while that he was not spending as the deputy. |
Re: May Gathering
[open, riverclan apprentice] Flowerpaw padded into the sandy clearing, keeping her pawsteps light as to not get sand all over her paws again. She hated having to clean the sand from her fur every time she went anywhere near water, which was a pretty common occurrence in Riverclan. Padding further back so she would be able to sit on a bit of the grassy ground within the clearing, Flowerpaw settled herself down, tail tucked neatly over her paws as she began to shake some of the sand from them. -- [open, shadowclan apprentice] Scorchpaw followed behind all his clanmates, glancing towards Rosedapple as she spoke. He gave her a smile before turning, nodding to himself as a few mumbles exited his mouth. "Make friends. Okay, that's not hard, you've just gotta talk to cats." After giving himself the pep-talk, the large ginger apprentice split off from the rest of his clan, padding off until he found another cat, coming up to them and giving a small poke with his paw. "Hey! I'm Scorchpaw! What's your name?" -- [open, thunderclan warrior] Flintspirit didn't know why he'd agreed to come again. It was a little.. weird. Oh yeah. You just want to get it over with. The sooner he could feel normal being back at a warrior rank, the sooner he could go on with his life, and just leave all the weird feelings behind. So, here he was, seating himself in a place where he could view the seastones easily, but also where he could converse with other cats if wanted. |

Re: May Gathering
- @Arie @RedHead @S-oft - Myrtlepaw bounded up with his head low, trying to avoid bumping into any other cats as he made his way across the vast sandy field ahead of him. It felt weird on his paws, but it was still better than walking in the marshy Shadowclan lands. Spotting Doepaw, he smiled. It was at least one cat he knew, though he also spotted the pelt of another cat he didn't quite know. It didn't matter though, these gatherings were supposed to be about meeting cats from other clans, that's what Plover told him anyways. He watched from a slight distance, stuck in plain sight. This new cat seemed to be quite... loud... and talkative, traits with Myrtle typically didn't have the most fondness for. He sat down, inching ever so closer to that group as time passed, silently wondering how Doepaw was able to put up with this nonsense. |

Lichenpaw was at the gathering, she spotted the Riverclan molly who attacked her in the battle,” Hello...” she meowed narrowing her eyes at the molly slightly. |
Re: May Gathering
Speckledrose padded in with ThunderClan. She looked around at the cats. RiverClan and ShadowClan were glaring at each other as usual, but both looked hurt! ShadowClan looked worse than when they attacked ThunderClan! What was going on?
(Open) -------------- Honeypaw patterned in with ShadowClan. He was still hurt, but he had convinced everyone that he was fine enough to go. He felt like he needed to be here after the raids. He clinched as he sat down and scanned the clearing. If those RiverClanners who did this to him even thought about coming near him, he wasn't sure what he would do. (Open) ------------ Poppytwist had walked in with her head held high. She was proud of her scars. She sat down with her Clanmates when one of the apprentices that she had attacked came up to her. She looked at him and kicked her chest in embarrassment. "Hi. Listen, I'm sorry about attacking you so violently. It wasn't right of me to attack an apprentice." @Zesty Mango |

Sparrowpaw spun around as an oddly familiar voice spoke close to her ear. A dark gray tom was standing in-front of her, and he carried a revolting fishy stench that drifted off him like the scent of dung. Instantly Sparrowpaw recognized the tom as RiverClan's Sootpaw. The mottled she-cat gaped at him, her throat tightening as her mouth went suddenly dry. "S--Sootpaw," she stammered, taking an uneasy pace back. Then her brows furrowed, and Sparrowpaw forcefully straightened. She couldn't act afraid of some small little RiverClan tom whose voice had grown hardly deeper. She had to hold tightly on to her assertiveness if she wanted other cats to admire her. Sparrowpaw closed her yellow eyes in a long blink, and took in a sharp breath before finally speaking again. "I'm not crazy," she growled, her chest puffing out. "I was simply defending my Clan against intruders that had no business in our troubles." Sparrowpaw flexed her claws, but she knew full-well that this was not a time for fighting. This was a Gathering; she would have to remain dignified. |

Lotuspaw arrived at the gathering with her clan. She had been silent the entire time. She didn't want to show her nervousness. All the senior RiverClan warriors seemed so confident. What was going to happen? Ok, you can do this. Calm down. trust no one.
