Bramblepaw glanced out of the den at the fresh-kill pile, annoyed at herself for not eating before they left and at Softlily for saying she had to stay still.

Bramblepaw's eyes brightened. "Thank you!" she meowed as she reached for one of the mice. When she was about to set it down and start eating something startled her into dropping it.
"May all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather for a Clan meeting!" Blazestar called out.

Berrypaw's ears pricked up, moving out of the apprentice's den. She took no time to take a seat right next to the entrance of the den, not really wanting to be too incredibly close to Blazestar. Eyes narrowing, she reminisced about how Bramblepaw had fought the clan leader just earlier. Hopefully it had nothing to do with that.
