Strays and Farm Dogs

so this idea was mainly TheBread's idea, so, like, all the credit goes to them.

Strays:
The Strays are a group of stray dogs with unknown pasts. Several years ago, they formed a group, and then that group became a pack. Their rank system is a bit similar to the Warriors.
Alpha
The alpha is the leader of the entire pack. They are usually strict and sometimes ruthless, and do not mess around. The Alpha was never the Deputy, though. The Alpha is chosen by blood, so if you are the Alpha's son, you will become the Alpha. Like the Ancient Egyptian's Pharaohs that married their sisters and had children with them to keep the "royal blood" it's the same with the Strays. The deputy is usually not directly related to the Alpha, but they may be cousins or second-cousins. Anyway, most of the pack is at least a little bit related to the Alpha. By now, there are very little dogs that were actually the originally the strays that formed the pack.
Deputy
The Deputy is the Second-In-Command. There is only one, and they DO NOT become the Alpha after the Alpha dies. They merely help with the Alpha's duties.
Fighters
The fighters are usually the more dangerous, fast, and lethal. They tend to be more ruthless and strong. They protect the Pack and fight as well.
Hunters
Hunters are the more sleek and agile. They are quick on their feet, and silent. They catch food for their camp, and are more on the peaceful side.
Apprentices
The apprentices are older than pups but younger than fighters and hunters. They train for both hunting and fighting, and are chosen by the Deputy on which they will be.
Healer
The healer is hated by the pack, and are sort of outcasts. They are treated terribly, and hated by most. They are called awful things, and made fun of. But it is against the pack laws for them to argue back. If they do, a severe punishment is put in place. The healer treats the wounds of the pack, and aids them when they are unwell.
Healer-In-Training (AKA Hit)
The Healer-In-Training is picked by the Deputy when the Healer begins to get older and need more help. The new Healer is usually the runt of a recent litter, or a cripple.


The Farm Dogs:
The Farm Dogs are a more peaceful group, with a more stable rank system.
Alpha
Like the Strays, the Alpha is the leader of the pack. They are chosen by the pack members, rather than being born into it. They lead peacefully and consider the thoughts of the other members of the pack before doing anything.
Deputy
The Deputy is chosen by the new Alpha after the old Alpha dies. They are the Alpha's second in command, and ensure the rules and orders the pack. They do most of the dirty work, though.
Healer
Unlike the Strays, the Healer is highly respected. They heal the sick and injured, and are very organized and know what they are doing.
Healer's Trainee
The Healer's Trainee is chosen when the pup is around 6 months old, and they know what they are capable of. The Healer chooses the Healer's Trainee when they feel that they need help.
Warriors
The warriors fight for the pack, and are more on the offense side, rather than defense. They are fast and skilled in battle.
Guards
The guards are the more burly dogs who guard the camp from enemy packs. They are strong and quick-thinkers.
Hunters
The hunters hunt for the pack, and are the more lithe and small dogs. They are swift and silent on their paws.
Trainees
The Traniees vary. They are the dogs older than pups, but too young to be a guard, hunter, or warrior. There are Guard Trainees, Hunter Trainees, and Warrior Trainees. When the pup is young, it is decided based on their physical appearance of which they will specialize in.


So basically, the two packs are not enemies, but the don't get along. Relationships between packs are allowed, but frowned upon. The pup of a Stray dog and Farm dog are usually disliked by the others. There are distinct boundaries around the two packs, and they usually argue about nothing. TheBread will post the links to the appearances of the territories here later on. The Strays Alpha is reserved for TheBread, and I will be the Farm Dogs Alpha. All other ranks are open, but do not apply for Healer in Training or Healer's Trainee until there is a Healer. Ask them first before applying for HIT or Healer's Trainee.

Jasmine layed on the grass. She had her eyes closed enjoying the breeze.

Nip sat down. He scuffled his paws on the dirt, his ears flattened as his head slightly lowered. Grunting, he got into a standing position, and started to pace out of boredom. The hunters will return soon. He thought, a growl rumbling in his throat.

[Phoenix Flames]

Georgie looked at his mother and father. He then stared at the sheep, cows, pigs, and chickens at the farm. "Look, Mother, Father is nipping the cows' ankles! He's really good at herding the farm animals, just like you are.", he said. Abby looked at Georgie. "Yes, yes he is.", she said, as she laid down inside the barn. Georgie padded over to her, laid down, and suckled. Buster ran towards a straying cow and nipped it's ankle. It was a calf, but it ran back to the herd. Buster leapt over the fence of the cows' pen. He walked over to the barn to see what his mate and his pup were doing. "Hey Georgie. 'Ello Abby.", he said, looking at his son. "Hi, Father", Georgie said with a mouthful of milk. Some of the milk spilled out of his mouth and ran down his lips, and his chin, dropping on the floor. The Pitbull/Cocker Spaniel mix breed puppy, licked the milk that fell on the floor, laid down again next to his mother, and fell asleep.

Splash and Puddle sat a ways away from the three dogs, occasionally glancing at them as they spoke. Bullet padded up to Buster, his eyes dull as he spoke, "You did well with those cows Buster."
Jax stretched out and walked out of his den, gaze flicking between every dog in his pack. The alpha was suddenly tackled and his eyes widened until he realized it was his two adopted pups. Ryn smiled widely, "We got you didn't we! You didn't even hear us coming!" Buck nodded, "Did we do good?" He asked, his eyes full of hope. Dart padded into the camp, Snap and Kynvuu behind her, both had a large rabbit in their jaws.

Mika sighed, her ears flicking in anticipation. The Siberian Malamute highly disliked not doing anything, and sighed. She got to her paws and stretched quickly, shaking out her fur. She noticed the two pups tackling Jax, and she laughed quietly to herself.

Skye lied down on her nest. She liked being wild, not cooped up like the farm dogs in a stuffy old barn. Nevertheless... she wanted to see what they were up to. She stood slowly to make sure none of the others were whatching, thwn bounded off in the direction of the farm.

(Sorry if I'm being stupid but could someone give me a list of which dogs are in which pack?)

Splash and Puddle sat a ways away from the three dogs, occasionally glancing at them as they spoke. Bullet padded up to Buster, his eyes dull as he spoke, "You did well with those cows Buster."
Jax stretched out and walked out of his den, gaze flicking between every dog in his pack. The alpha was suddenly tackled and his eyes widened until he realized it was his two adopted pups. Ryn smiled widely, "We got you didn't we! You didn't even hear us coming!" Buck nodded, "Did we do good?" He asked, his eyes full of hope. Dart padded into the camp, Snap and Kynvuu behind her, both had a large rabbit in their jaws.
Abby, Georgie, and Buster looked at Bullet. "Yeah, I know. At least the herd of cows and bulls didn't try to break through the metal fence. Which they can't.", he said. Georgie yawned and then fell back asleep. Abby rested her head on her paws. She looked at the mice running around the barn.

Bullet nodded, a look of confusion clouded his features as he heard his name called. "I'll be right back.." He said, trotting to the far end of the barn, "Kynvuu? Was that you?"

He was just on the look out for any smaller creatures, like rabbits or small deer. His odd-colored orbs watched the nature around him and he took in scents. He sighed happily and perked his ears when he heard a rustle nearby. His eyes caught a blur of white as a rabbit ran past him, Buzz mentally kicked himself for not paying attention and chased after the rabbit.
Outlaw was low to the ground, watching a small baby deer from the bushes. She was still near her mother and the herb, but was slowly wandering off. Outlaw glared at the creature and continued to wait until the right time to pounce.

Buzz continued to chase the rabbit but soon lost it once it dove into it's burrow. Buzz growled to himself and shook his fur. He began to head back to camp, a frustrated look on his face.

Outlaw glared at the fawn, he bunched up his muscles and the moment the deer's mother turned Outlaw pounced. He knocked the young fawn over and bit into it's neck, killing it instantly. He pricked his ears as he heard the rest of the herd ran off. Outlaw picked up the fawn by it's neck and began to take it back to camp.

Strays:
The Strays are a group of stray dogs with unknown pasts. Several years ago, they formed a group, and then that group became a pack. Their rank system is a bit similar to the Warriors.
Alpha
The alpha is the leader of the entire pack. They are usually strict and sometimes ruthless, and do not mess around. The Alpha was never the Deputy, though. The Alpha is chosen by blood, so if you are the Alpha's son, you will become the Alpha. Like the Ancient Egyptian's Pharaohs that married their sisters and had children with them to keep the "royal blood" it's the same with the Strays. The deputy is usually not directly related to the Alpha, but they may be cousins or second-cousins. Anyway, most of the pack is at least a little bit related to the Alpha. By now, there are very little dogs that were actually the originally the strays that formed the pack.
Deputy
The Deputy is the Second-In-Command. There is only one, and they DO NOT become the Alpha after the Alpha dies. They merely help with the Alpha's duties.
Fighters
The fighters are usually the more dangerous, fast, and lethal. They tend to be more ruthless and strong. They protect the Pack and fight as well.
Hunters
Hunters are the more sleek and agile. They are quick on their feet, and silent. They catch food for their camp, and are more on the peaceful side.
Apprentices
The apprentices are older than pups but younger than fighters and hunters. They train for both hunting and fighting, and are chosen by the Deputy on which they will be.
Healer
The healer is hated by the pack, and are sort of outcasts. They are treated terribly, and hated by most. They are called awful things, and made fun of. But it is against the pack laws for them to argue back. If they do, a severe punishment is put in place. The healer treats the wounds of the pack, and aids them when they are unwell.
Healer-In-Training (AKA Hit)
The Healer-In-Training is picked by the Deputy when the Healer begins to get older and need more help. The new Healer is usually the runt of a recent litter, or a cripple.


The Farm Dogs:
The Farm Dogs are a more peaceful group, with a more stable rank system.
Alpha
Like the Strays, the Alpha is the leader of the pack. They are chosen by the pack members, rather than being born into it. They lead peacefully and consider the thoughts of the other members of the pack before doing anything.
Deputy
The Deputy is chosen by the new Alpha after the old Alpha dies. They are the Alpha's second in command, and ensure the rules and orders the pack. They do most of the dirty work, though.
Healer
Unlike the Strays, the Healer is highly respected. They heal the sick and injured, and are very organized and know what they are doing.
Healer's Trainee
The Healer's Trainee is chosen when the pup is around 6 months old, and they know what they are capable of. The Healer chooses the Healer's Trainee when they feel that they need help.
Warriors
The warriors fight for the pack, and are more on the offense side, rather than defense. They are fast and skilled in battle.
Guards
The guards are the more burly dogs who guard the camp from enemy packs. They are strong and quick-thinkers.
Hunters
The hunters hunt for the pack, and are the more lithe and small dogs. They are swift and silent on their paws.
Trainees
The Traniees vary. They are the dogs older than pups, but too young to be a guard, hunter, or warrior. There are Guard Trainees, Hunter Trainees, and Warrior Trainees. When the pup is young, it is decided based on their physical appearance of which they will specialize in.


So basically, the two packs are not enemies, but the don't get along. Relationships between packs are allowed, but frowned upon. The pup of a Stray dog and Farm dog are usually disliked by the others. There are distinct boundaries around the two packs, and they usually argue about nothing. TheBread will post the links to the appearances of the territories here later on. The Strays Alpha is reserved for TheBread, and I will be the Farm Dogs Alpha. All other ranks are open, but do not apply for Healer in Training or Healer's Trainee until there is a Healer. Ask them first before applying for HIT or Healer's Trainee.

Pepper felt his stomach growl.The feeling of hunger made the mongrel rise back on his paws, and the dog headed off for something to quickly munch on.He was sniffing the air almost constantly, hoping to not get away from the camp too much.Pepper finally saw a lonely old crow, with some feathers missing with the corner of his eye.The apperintice barely held himself to not bark of excitement to find himself prey to hunt.He stood there, taking a moment to memorize his packmates fails.
Pepper sniffed the air the last time and managed to get the wind blow from the crow, he kept his haunches lowered as soon as the crow started to look more cautious.Pepper slowly, but steadily crept forward, every step he took mattered.

Jax pulled Skye's paw out from under her and sliced her paw pad then turned and padded out of the den, dismissing the three with a flick of his ear. Dart gave Kynvuu a nod then followed the alpha out. Kynvuu gave Skye a horrified expression, "I'm s-so sorry.." She stuttered.

Buzz got into camp and quickly found a shady spot to sit in. His face full of frustration he watched the other dogs silently.

Outlaw padded into camp with the small fawn in his jaws. Even though the deer was small his jaws and neck still ached from carrying it so far. He didn't let that show as u held his head high and out the deer into the fresh kill pile. He looked around to see if any dog noticed his kill, well any females that is, Outlaw didn't talk much and he was terrible at flirting but he always liked the thought of impresing a female and getting a mate.

Buzz got into camp and quickly found a shady spot to sit in. His face full of frustration he watched the other dogs silently.

Outlaw padded into camp with the small fawn in his jaws. Even though the deer was small his jaws and neck still ached from carrying it so far. He didn't let that show as u held his head high and out the deer into the fresh kill pile. The dog looked familiar but she cpuldnt quite place its name. Two red slits appeared in the dog's face. She suddenly recognized the ears and the muzzle and the shape of the head. It was Jax.
