Silentshade's twolegplace adventure!

The third and final installment of The Silentshade's Journey roleplay. Thanks to all who have helped her. We will be in this thread for the remainder of the jouney, and will use the " Part of Silentshade's Journey!" Thread in the Outskirts forum on the return journey. Since riverclan isn't really that far from Twolegplace and the Outskirts, our cats have only been away from the clan for one Moon.


Info for the three new cats in this thread!

Name: Gussie
Gender: She-cat
Looks: Ginger and white with amber eyes
She is the rather random old she cat, never know where she will be or where she has been. Likes to help younger cats when she can

Name: Ashton
Gender: Tom
Looks: a fluffy pale gray and white with stormy gray eyes
Not your normal loner, often seen around the forest. He's rather quiet for a lone tom, you don't hear much out of him.

Name: Sugar
Gender: she-cat
Looks: White with one green eye and one blue eye
She's loud, she's flirty, she's Sugar. Ashton's totally random sister, she found him wandering the streets awhile back and decided to take him in. It took her awhile to realize he was the brother who had left the family to be with the loner she cat Willa, but once she did she was as happy as a lark.

Gussie had been sleeping peacefully when she was rudely awoken my youngesters bickering. "Brackenheart, I think we should head that way!" A female voice yelled. " Silentshade, we should head down that street!" A tom's voice snapped. Finally, the cranky old molly had heard enough. " WHAT IN TAR NATION ARE YOU YOUNGSTERS YELLING ABOUT?!" she yelled, poking her patchy ginger and white head out of her cardboard box. A molly screamed, and Gussie whipped her head around. " Which one of you youngings screamed?" she asked, her voice sharp. " I-I did Ma'am," the pale calico whispered, raising her paw. " Well don't, best way to get a flea brained dog around here. That's the last thing any old molly wants!" Gussie sat down in front of them and scratched at her neck with a hind paw. "I'm sorry Miss um..." The gray and white molly said. " Gussie, the name is Gussie. Don't let your young little mind ferget it either!"
"Well, Gussie, me and my friends are looking for a tom cat, he looks almost exactly like me, minus the eyes." The old molly widened her eyes, letting her take in the features of the cat. She had fluffy fur, and pale gray markings. Gussie smiled, and let out a laugh. " I know who yer talking about now! Come on! He doesn't live far!" The ginger and white molly got to her paws and trotted down the alley. "Well? MOVE YER TAILS!" She yelled after them.
oh boy are they in over their heads, having to deal with a she-cat Purdy. Not trying to make this into the Journey to Sun-drown place, but just for some lightheartedness!

"I hope we can trust this she-cat and her sense of direction," Brackenheart sighed to Clovershine. " Relax Brackenheart, Silentshade trusts her!" Clovershine giggled. "Besides," Clovershine added, "She talks fun!" The group walked on for a while, until suddenly coming to a dead stop. " Now lets see, um he said turn right at the yappie dog's house and then turn left at the dump or did he say turn left at the yappie dog's house and then turn right at the dump?" They heard Gussie mutter to herself. "Um, Gussie? Are we lost?" Silentshade asked sweetly, silently praying to Starclan that they wasn't. "Why no we are not Pretty Kitty we are just slightly confused!"
"So, we're lost?"
"Slightly confused Peaches!"
"we're lost, aren't we?"
"I SAID JUST SLIGHTLY CONFUSED!"
"We are lost in Twolegplace, great!" Silentshade sighed. " Gussie, you better remember those directions, now-Please!" Silentshade closed her eyes as Gussie tried to remember. "I remember now youngings! He said 'go straight at the yappie dog's house and then turn right down the alley!'" Gussie took off, and Silentshade had no choice but to follow her.

Roxie followed Silentshade in silence. She stopped for a moment to lift a paw and rub her nose,
then continued. "Ow..." She murmured. "My face still hurts..." Roxie gave herself a quick shake and trotted after them. "Silentshade? What does your father look like?" She asked, then she flattened her ears and lowered her head a bit. "I-In sorry if I offended you... I as just wondering... So It'd be easier to find him..."

Good for Brackenheart but I believe that Pathos left WCO, seeing as he hasn't been on since the beginning of June. I'm thinking that Whimbrel will just die and Cinder will be devastated.

Why wouldn't Silentshade? And I think that Brackenheart will be some what better tempered now that he has Clovershine to pull his whiskers if he steps out of line.... Clovershine is that kind of she-cat

Yeah, he's been kind of needing to be better tempered.... And I'm not sure if I want Silentshade's father to be warm and welcoming, or unfriendly until he figures out who she is. But I'll be adding plot twist after plot twist there!

"Now um let's see here youngings, Do we turn left or do we turn right?" Brackenheart stared in dismay as the random old she-cat tried to figure out which way to turn, again. "Clovershine, she's already gotten us lost once, maybe we should try and lose her," He told the calico she-cat beside him. "Hush, Silentshade told her if she gets us lost again, it will be the last time!" Clovershine hit him on the shoulder with her paw. All the fumes from the monsters must not be good on her head, I know it's not mine! he chuckled in his head, in fact, the she-cat had been upset since they had gotten into Twolegplace. "Whatever way you think Gussie!" He head Silentshade meow cheerfully. He could tell she was trying not to explode at the old cat, and he could hardly blame Silentshade for wanting to. "I vote you don't turn anywhere!" The heard a loud voice say. Brackeneheart fluffed up as a scrawny white she-cat with one blue eye and one green came scurrying out of the shadows. " Who are you?!" Clovershine squeaked in alarm. Instinctively, he scooted himself between her and the stranger. The new she-cat spoke again."Gussie, what are you doing bringing strangers onto me and my brother's turf? One or two now and again is fine but a whole group? No more!" Gussie looked up and smiled. "Sugar! I was wondering if we woulda run into you! Good to see yer young face around my alley." Sugar sighed. "Same here Gussie, but Ashy isn't taking in newbies right now, it's not cold anymore, he's sent the last load of them away a moon ago! Besides, the dump doesn't like all of us cats hanging around. One or two is spotted they call the cutter's!" Sugar said. " Now Sugar, my name is Silentshade, these are my friends. I'm looking for my father, he looks almost exactly like me, but with gray eyes. Do you know him?" Brackenheart flattened his fur at the hopeful look on Silentshade's face. As much things that had gone wrong on this crazy trip, she had never lost hope that she would find him. "Honey, the cat you just described, I know him. but it can't be him-" Sugar broke off as a tom's voice sounded i the corner of the alley. "Sugar, I told you to chase them off, not strike up a petty conversation!"

Roxie mocked what Sugar was saying out of pure boredom. She lifted a paw and continued to mock her, then stopped when she heard the strange voice from inside the alley. Roxie pricked her ears and pushed her way to the front of the group. She stood there for a moment, then brushed past Sugar, ignoring anything she said. Once Roxie was past Sugar, she stood in the alley, staring into the darkness. "Who's there!"
She called out, unsheathing her claws.

"Roxie, you didn't offend me, he looks like me but with gray eyes," Silentshade said, still watching Sugar out of one eye. "You right, it would be easier to find him, but since this she-cat is blocking us, I'm sure it will be a bit til we can." She added in a low tone.

Please, I've seen rabbits with more bite than you," He added. He flung Sugar a hard glare, and she shrank under his furious gaze. "As soon as i heard these loud mouths arguing, Sugar, I told you 'hey, can you go get them off our turf? I'll be along in a few minutes' wasn't those my exact words?" He asked, ignoring the Riverclan cats entirely. " Yes they was Ashton, but this she-cat, she asked if I knew you and-" Sugar trembled as Ashton gave an impatient sniff. "Why did you ask that?" he asked Silentshade, looking her up and down. " You see, um.... Ashton. My mother always told me about my father and she described him to be exactly like you-" Even Silentshade was finding it hard to speak in front of this tom, he was just so confusing and flustering! " Sweetie, I don't know who your mother was, but the only cat I've had kits with is gone. So how about you run home to your little den or dump or what ever you live in and leave me here in peace, how does that sound hm?" Aston turned to go back into the alley, but stopped cold as Silentshade breathed out four words: "her name was Willa". Sugar gasped in shock, "It can't be!" She breathed. "What did you say?" Ashton choked out, not turning around. " I said her name was Willa, perhaps you knew her?" Silentshade asked hopefully.

Ashton turned around, and Clovershine's heart twinged as she saw his gray eyes were flickering with tears. "Yes, I know the clan type of cats, rather picky with their borders and so called "warrior code" Aren't they? And to answer the question: yes I knew her, I knew Willa. A pale, creamy brown with ocean blue eyes; in fact- she has Willa's eyes." He motioned with his tail at Silentshade. Sugar, who had watched with concern flickering in her eyes, got up and thrust her face in Ashton's. " Don't you see you idiot?! Take a good, long look at the she-cat, tell me who you can see!" Ashton walked over to Silentshade, who stood perfectly still as he looked straight into her eyes, ocean blue to a storm cloud gray. What does he see? Silentshade thought hopelessly, but then jumped as Ashton leaped back, letting out a terrible wail "WILLA!" Calming back down, he asked with a pained, shamed look on his face: " Was Willa your mother? Tell me, was Willa your mother?"

Roxie sat down and watched the scene play out. She looked at Silentshade as she spoke, then back at the tom as he spoke. Roxie was silent, the didn't wanna ruin their moment. Who... Who's Willa...? She thought. Is... Is Willa Silentshade's father...? Roxie was confused about all of this. First the tom, now Willa! So much happening... Silentshade came this far, I won't let her give up now...

"Willa wasn my mother," Silentshade told Roxie. She could see it on her face that she was confused, and Silentshade didn't blame her for it. Sugar put a paw to her mouth, gasping. I wonder what made this crazy tomcat overreact? She wondered.

Now for Ashton's Point of view!

Willa, my Willa was her mother! I could hardly believe it! After all this time thinking my kits were dead, that Willa had left me, here was my daughter! "Silentshade, your my daughter. I'm your father," I said softly, not knowing what else to say.

Roxie's eyes widened. "You guys... are..." She already knew the answer, but she couldn't stop the words from spilling out of her mouth. They are related! She thought with a jolt of excitement. Silentshade has found what she has been looking for! Roxie had to force herlself to keep her paws on the ground. "You did it!" The words exploded from her jaws. "You found your father!"
