There's seven roleplay categories. (You'll find more stuff than that, don't fret. ^^) Three are based on the length of your posts, and the other four are other special categories. I'll briefly cover them here.
Free Roleplay- one-liners, few-liners, no standards; sometimes the person/people in charge of the role-play will insist on a small standard to follow
Casual Roleplay- a paragraph or two, some depth
Advanced Roleplay- really in-depth, sometimes four paragraphs, almost all the time more
Arena Roleplay- battle-centered
1x1 Roleplay- two players per role-play
Nation Roleplay- "create and control a nation that collides with other nations through political, economic, and diplomatic warfare"
Tabletop Roleplay- "roleplays focused on dice rolls and stat blocks where the narrative is driven by game mechanics"

Story: As the city became a ghost town, and the twolegs abandoned the their pets, the cats and dogs retreat to the wilderness, where the desert, forest, and river lay. They came in massive amounts, and they divided the land between themselves, and they became the Tribes and Loyals.

Long ago, before they came to this land they now call home, back where the old territory used to be, the clans didn't exist. it was bands of rogues who fought over prey and territory. Slowly, over time, the fights grew worse, and more bloody, until finally, they met in a great battle, where no cat fought for each other. It was fought in a hollow, in the middle of which sits a dead, fallen tree. They fought for nine whole days and ten long nights. When this battle came to a close, four of the rogues looked around, seeing all of the bodies, blood, and scraps of fur that covered the area. They saw injured and broken cats everywhere they looked. It was then that they decided enough was enough. The four rogues, whose names were Hawk, Fox, River, and Fog, came together and decided that it was time things were handled differently.

As they discussed what they could do, suddenly the hollow was bright with moonlight, and the cats around them seemed to recover from their wounds rapidly. Then, right before their eyes, the fallen cat's souls seemed to lift from their bodies and they all seemed to be made of the moonlight that filled the hollow. As the rest of the cats gathered around the fallen, they began to speak of peace and co-existence between them all, that it was possible if they just tried. Borders would be laid down, rules would be in place, and they would not walk the path alone either, these moonlit cats would walk with them and guide them.

Nearly a moon passed and near everything seemed settled, now was just the matter of who might lead these now four groups. The original four who started to seek a different way were chosen. As a gift from the starry cats for their honorable actions, they were given wings, so that They would be able to shelter their Clans, and they were given nine lives, so they may be first in any battle and last to take fresh kill if need be. Each was given the suffix -wing, to show that they were the leaders of each group. These four groups would come to be known as WhiteHawk-Clan, BlackFox-Clan, HighRiver-Clan, and LowFog-Clan.

ThicketClan, the home of the of the social. Their warriors are jacks of all trade, being skilled in hunting and fighting in multiple terrains. They are head strong and egotistical, seeing themselves fit to help all cats. StarClan isn't as important in this clan as it may be to others. These cats are kind and welcoming.

CurrentClan, the home of the clever. These cats are quick, agile, and keen. Having the smallest amount of territory and the harshest living conditions, these cats are known for their shady activities.

RigidClan, the home of the innovative. RigidClan warriors are always careful to use any and all material they can, not wanting to allow a single thing to go to waste for any upcoming leaf-bare. They don't dare come to face the wrath of StarClan should it rain down upon them, and are fearful of the Dark Forest and what it holds.

You blink your eyes open, and see the stars glittering around you. There's soft grass under your paws, and you gaze around in wonder, before jumping as a soft voice drifts into your ears. "You have four choices. Choose wisely." You look around, but see nobody.
"Join CaveClan! We will teach you to hunt and fight and you'll be the best warrior that has ever existed!"
CaveClan sounds tempting. Being respected because of what a great hunter and fighter you are sounds nice.
"Join VineClan." A stern voice interrupts your thinking. "You can leap into trees, and hunt even in leaf-bare when it snows, because the forest is so lush and green, and sheltered as well, so the prey doesn't even know how cold it is." The voice erupts into a coughing, which you realize a moment later is laughter.
Easy prey sounded nice, even in the coldest of seasons. Four choices... there should be two more ghost voices.
"Young one, I'm Willowstar. I'm the founder of WillowClan. We may not be the strongest, but we have our ways of winning battles and catching prey.
The river freezes over in leaf-bare, but all you have to do is break the ice and it's fine."
She's the only polite cat so far. The only cat that introduced herself.
"Hello, young cat! I'm Moorstar, which sounds like a weird name but it's because I was my mother's only daughter and I was born on a moor.
Anyway, my Clan will teach you the ways of running. It gets hard when it rains and snows, but in my opinion, life's pretty boring with no challenges.
You look smart. I trust you'll make a good choice." The last voice saud before fading away.

So, What can you play as? Dogs, Jackals, Coyotes, Wolves and even Wolf Dogs! Basically canines, but those are all I think you can play as. Unfortunately, purebred dogs aren't allowed anymore (Schrei), so you have to have hybrid dogs if you want a dog. ^.^ Hybrids are enjoyable, I'd say.

There are packs for the canines: Inferni, Cour Des Miracles, Anathema, Salsola and a few others.
I have an account currently, for my character (Headley). I recently joined, but im finding it fun already! Before you sign up, bare in mind you either have to do three examples of 200 words on each OR fill in your profile. Wich has 200 words each for the biography, appearance and pesonality.
Anything else can be found at the site itself, and its rather enjoyable. I'd recommend looking into joining!

Short History Lesson
Long ago there were all four clans, living in what was close to peace. As per usual, there were border skirmishes and such, but nothing too bad ever really happened. One night the impossible happened and monsters began to rise. One by one, Vampires, Weredogs, and Shapeshifters, and many others appeared, killing few cats at first, but then many, the numbers of casualties growing to an unbearable amount. Before the clans could retaliate a pack mixed with vampires and weredogs started to grow and take over.
A huge fire engulfed the territories only leaving Riverclan unaffected. Shadowclan was closest to them so they begged for help but Riverclan turned their backs on the others. The leader, Blazestar only cared about his clan so he prepared to pack up and leave. The three clans were taken over by monsters, either forced to join them or to be killed.
The weredog leader of the pack was killed by Shadestar and she became their new leader, only leaving a few useful monsters in their clan.
Blazestar led his clan away and renamed them Blazeclan. Shadestar found a new camp within fourtrees and renamed her own clan Shadeclan. These clans would remain enemies for generations because of the decisions made in their history.

Blazeclan
1. Blazeclan is always on the move, never having a permanent camp. They have three main temporary camps but occasionally have to find other places.
2. These cats are raised to distrust monsters and learn the ways to hunt and kill them.
3. They still have a strong belief in Starclan but are unable to visit the moonpool so the medicine cats rely on dreams to see their ancestors.
4. Their goal is to rid evil from the territories by hunting monsters.
5. Cats that are unable to keep traveling are given the choice to join twolegplace, the barn, or become a loner. Queens who are close to kitting and cannot travel will have the clan stop at the nearest temporary camp or the barn and will need optimal protection as kitting attracts monsters.

Shadeclan
1. Shadeclans camp is in fourtrees and their territory expands from that (see map).
2. These cats have been raised beside common monsters and know how to work with them, though some regular felines still may distrust them.
3. Many have lost their belief in Starclan but still allow their medicine cats to visit the moonpool if they wish.
4. Their goal is to keep their clan healthy and alive. Some also want to kill off as much Blazeclan cats as they can find, but this is controversial in Shadeclan.

How the roleplay works
First off, this is a Discord based roleplay! If you don't have Discord then you won't be able to rp with us :c
The highranks of the rp will schedule times for roleplays that will be relevant to the main plot. The main plot will change every scheduled roleplay (some may not change if the plot isn't finished).
There will be a seperate channel for side roleplays, for casual interactions, mini plots, etc. Nothing too intense should be roleplayed here though without permission, ty.
We will also have a channel for detailed bios, and another for character resources.
More monsters and other species will be added as the roleplay goes on!

Highrank regulations
1. 3+ sentences in your posts
2. You must read the full backstory and the monster masterlist
3. You need to have a solid understanding of the rp (feel free to ask questions if you need to)
4. You need to be active, meaning you don't need to post everyday but you should be present at every scheduled rp.

Monster regulations
1. I don't want too many monsters in Shadeclan so please consider making a warrior as well.
2. You NEED to fully understand your monsters weaknesses, abilities, and drawbacks. These can be found on the monster masterlist. This is important so we can limit power playing.
3. Only choose one of the monsters from the masterlist please.
4. You may choose a monster that cant be in a clan but that means they will either be a loner or in a pack.
5. Jades Pack is open but you can only join it by applying on the discord #plots channel.

Personality: Ever since she was a small kit, Emberstar has been very loud and proud about her identity. The she-cat will often attempt to grab the spotlight as often as possible and by any means necessary regardless of the situation. While she's become more cool and relaxed with age, at times the she-cat retains her old habit of interrupting others or speaking over her peers. Because of it, Emberstar can often be considered insensitive and blunt despite her best intentions; cats who know her know that she never means any harm by her outspoken nature, and Ember appreciates the cats who can grow to appreciate her honesty. With time and a diverse array of experiences, Emberstar has grown to be particularly thoughtful, and often her contributions to conversations come across as very wise. Though she feels a lot of insecurity over her appearance, Emberstar retains a bit of her shallowness from her apprentice days and judges many cats based on their looks and prestige. Emberstar knows (or at least think she knows) she comes from Blazestar’s line most cat of whom have held high positions, and the feline will often flaunt this to gain other cats' respect when her courageous actions and hardworking nature doesn't quite cut it. Emberstar is and always has been very sassy, however, and after spending time leading of her clan the she-cat finds it difficult to not boss others around.

Personality: Falconjaw is a bold, brash and outgoing tom with tons of attitude! Falconjaw is positive that he rules the world, and enjoys being the outspoken center of attention. Falconjaw is bossy, having a knack for being about to persuade other cats into getting what he wants by using his sharp wit. When Falconjaw pines after something and sets a goal to attain it, he wont give in until he gets it regardless of what methods he has to use. Along with his domineering nature, the tom is also very dishonest; Falconjaw plays plenty of pranks on others for his own amusement. One of the tom's favorite pass times is playing convoluted tricks and games on his favorite friends and clan-mates, and sometimes he pushes the boundary of what is 'friendly' and what is considered 'bullying'; however, Falconjaw will always apologize when he's truly wronged a cat, and eventually as he ages the young warrior will grow out of most of this thoughtlessness. Despite his rough nature, Falconjaw isn't always so difficult to be around. At heart, he's a very sweet and genuine tom, and he cares deeply for his family and friends. Personality: Falconjaw is a bold, brash and outgoing tom with tons of attitude! Falconjaw is positive that he rules the world, and enjoys being the outspoken center of attention. Falconjaw is bossy, having a knack for being about to persuade other cats into getting what he wants by using his sharp wit. When Falconjaw pines after something and sets a goal to attain it, he wont give in until he gets it regardless of what methods he has to use. Along with his domineering nature, the tom is also very dishonest; Falconjaw plays plenty of pranks on others for his own amusement. One of the tom's favorite pass times is playing convoluted tricks and games on his favorite friends and clan-mates, and sometimes he pushes the boundary of what is 'friendly' and what is considered 'bullying'; however, Falconjaw will always apologize when he's truly wronged a cat, and eventually as he ages the young warrior will grow out of most of this thoughtlessness. Despite his rough nature, Falconjaw isn't always so difficult to be around. At heart, he's a very sweet and genuine tom, and he cares deeply for his family and friends. At best, Falconjaw loves to make others laugh and enjoys crowd-pleasing, especially when it comes to charming those he happens to fancy.

Appearance: She has a tall stature and a strong build along with a dark auburn pelt and bright golden eyes. Her ears are pointy and her fur is prickly.
Personality: Redthorn is your typical grumpy elder. She’s blunt, wise, and complains to no end. This feline will say what’s on her mind, and it’s usually worth listening to her because she’s got a lifetime of experience. Raised in Shadeclan she learned to appreciate how difficult a monsters life can be when they choose not to feed on felines. She knew that they were not all evil, some were far from it. When Redthorn had lost her brother to a wild weredog pack she decided to turn her back on Shadeclan and join Blazeclan. Fueled by vengeance she sought out as much evil as she could and fought at Blazeclans side. As the she-cat got older she soon learned that hate is no way to live your life. She let her anger go but continued to assist her new clan, only killing if it was necessary. Once the treks to each campsite started to get tiring Redthorn decided it was time to settle somewhere. Saying goodbye to her clanmates she was lead to the barn where she would live out her days. Redthorn still has a sharp mind and has a lot of knowledge on monsters and their weaknesses so she usually will offer her help if you ask kindly.

Nightcreek used to think he was weak which is why she made a deal with a dark forest cat when she was a young warrior, but sence then,she has become stronger.
She is still not as strong as some cats,but he makes up for that using her smarts.She can usually think of a solution to most problems and knows of ways to increase the clans chances in battle by coming up with clever ambushes and strategies.
Nightcreek is mentally strong to,being able to take a lot of pain and loss without reaching her breaking point.Because of this,She can remain in control most of the time of herself without Sageleaf taking over,but this using constantly and sometimes it can still happen when she doesn't want it to.She will still let Sageleaf take over whenever she feels she can't defeat an opponent because she hates having to loose because she fears it will be detrimental to the clan if their deputy looked weak.

Before the clan was created, there was once a group of cats that had traveled together as nomads. They never settled in one place for long, however they cared for each other as a family, never leaving anyone behind and sitting vigil for the ones who had died. However on their travels, one by one the members of the group received a dream of a stone covered in moss with glowing, glassy eyes. It beckoned for them to find it, for it would be their salvation. For once, in all of their moons and generations of traveling together, they actually had something to look for. No longer were they moving along randomly, now they had purpose.
For moons they would search area after area for this mythical stone until eventually, they found it. It was nightfall, the moonlight gleamed in the crystal eyes of the stone, causing them to glow. One by one the group would fall asleep, huddled around the stone and each would share the dream. They were to settle down here, to mark this territory and live happily. The prey that was found here was theirs for the taking, however they must give thanks for what they had caught. There would be a single leader for their group, and they would name their group Vixenclan in honor of the stone. The code that they would live by was given to them in this dream, along with the warning that is still told to young cats this day.
Should you ever forsake the stone, then ruin would be brought to the clan. All that was ever theirs would be razed and they would be left with nothing but strife and despair.

A long, long time ago, the citizens of Eriden lived in peace with the sorcerers. But the sorcerers grew to become angry with how the citizens were treating the land, and cursed each of them with a life of horror and grief. Now, many years later, the land is in ruins and Eriden is no more. Each citizen roams the land with a demonic creature trapped inside of them, which comes out whenever it wishes. The sorcerers are long gone, leaving the citizens to be trapped as monsters forever, unable to rid of the curse that had been placed upon them. Their lives are filled with dread to the very day they die, living with a second personality, a second form. Once a child turns to the age of ten, they are no longer human. The creature is released and they are forced to live the rest of their lives just as many generations had lived before them. And there is nothing they can do. They must live like animals.

This is a Discord RP server that I have recently made! There are not many members, and a trustworthy staff is needed! Read and follow the rules, make as many monstrous characters as you can handle, and have fun in the OOC text and voice channels! I hope you come and enjoy this roleplay!

So, I know a lot of the Warriors online community used to also be very active on Animal Jam. For you young'uns, it was essentially a very popular virtual world game, similar to Club Penguin, in which you created animal avatars, explored the multitude of worlds, bought and traded items, decorated "dens," went on quests, and just hung out with people. It was actually the prevalence of fanclans on Animal Jam that led to me reading Warriors in the first place, and I know it was the same for many others.

Anyways, the creators of Animal Jam, a lovely little studio call Wildworks, are creating a new game! It's called Feral (found at Fer.al), and while not related to Animal Jam, it shares many of the same traits, like being a virtual world where you can chat with friends and explore different worlds. Its target demographic is teenagers, so the infamous chat restrictions are much more lax, and there's way more stuff to do.

Some returning features include being able to customize your character and dens with items, being able to do quests (in a different way however), and being able to trade things. However, this time around, we're in 3D worlds, and can CRAFT our own items, as well as customizing their colors. Due to the smaller size of the Feral community, the Wildworks team is much more equipped to meet the wishes of players, and actually inputs popular memes and refrences into the game. (One area of the game was dubbed the "Rat Wall" by players, and took on that name in-game after it became a well-known term.)

Sadly the game is currently in closed beta as of now, but a steady stream of YouTube content and the promise of more beta waves in the coming weeks has kept the community strong. Hope I can look forward to talking to some of you guys there when it releases!
