Zia limped into the den, blood still soaking her dark pelt from multiple wounds. She saw Ardis curled in a nest. Ardis is nice.... she thought. Ardis was the only cat Zia really liked and felt comfortable around, so the kit padded over, wincing in pain and prodded Ardis lightly in the side, very aware of the reek of blood that wafted from her fur.

Ardis lifted her head from where she was laying, curled up. She yawned and looked about. “Zia!” she gasped, bending forwards and sniffing the wounds on Zia's shoulders and side. They weren't too deep, but they were long and jagged. The black and gray tabby quickly dragged herself out of her nest, grabbing a pawful of cobwebs and marigold. She chewed the marigold into a pulp then spat it on her paw before rubbing it into all of Zia's injuries. Then she grabbed some goosegrass repeated the process. Once she'd done that, Ardis wrapped the wounds in cobwebs. “Stay with me for a bit in case they start to bleed again.”

Zia turned and glared at the tom. “I could ask you the same question, but isn't it obvious?” she hissed, hopping into the nest with Ardis and curling up, closing her eyes tightly and trying to ignore him, her ears flat and her nose tucked under her paws.

“Be nice!” Ardis hissed, curling protectively around Zia, even though Zia was Sobek and Bleddyn's kit, not her own. The young healer doubted she'd ever have kits, though poor Zia seemed close. She flattened her ears. “You're here for the same reason, so close your jaws.” she snapped, which was uncharacteristic of the dark tabby she-cat.

Zia soon fell asleep, curled up in Ardis's nest. She'd nearly forgotten that she and Ardis weren't the only ones in the den.

Ardis looked at Slash. Stupid furball! she thought, sighing and resting her head on her paws, thinking of the days when she could run. She knew sooner or later she'd be killed if she stayed in the Dusk Syndicate any longer, but first, she wanted to know if Zia would leave with her. They could mark out their own lives! She looked at the young cat sleeping beside her and purred happily. She knew that she would be asking a lot of Zia, to leave everything behind for the unknown.

“I know, but, she's already asleep, and I don't want to wake her.” Ardis said, shrugging. That wasn't all of it, but she didn't mention that it would be very difficult for her to move Zia. She looked at the sleeping form of Zia, wondering how she could possibly leave the kit. Yes, the kit had family, lots of family, but she didn't seem to like her family.
Zia raised her head, blinking sleep from her eyes. She looked up at Ardis, then stood hesitantly and peered into Ardis's eyes.
Ardis blinked, then put her muzzle to Zia's ear. “Would you like to leave with me?” Ardis whispered to the dark tabby she-kit. Her voice was quiet and hopeful. Hopeful that Zia would agree.
Zia nodded, and Ardis dragged herself out of the nest. Zia helping at Ardis's shoulder, they left the den, then the camp, heading away.

Lusk's fresh herbs lay splayed out, barely organised. He'd only turned his back for a moment, apparently enough time for a trainee to tromp in and begin snorting them like they're fresh-cut freesia. His hackles raise in irritation, wide eye turning to stare over at Pistachio, awaiting her to realize he's watching her so carefully, so coldly.

"...Enjoying yourself?" He questions, voice devoid of much emotion at all.

This is not how I pictured this... he thought and looked around. The smell of herbs filled his nose, and he wrinkled his nose slightly. He finally caught the sight of Lilith, and padded up to her.

"Good Evening, Lilith." he meowed, and say on his haunches. "I was wondering if I could get my shoulder patched and have a chat with you..." he said. A cut lined his right shoulder, but it was nothing like the scar that lined his left.

It had been around one or two moons since she'd left the nursery for the healer's den, and it was one of the most refreshing transitions she'd really had. The strong scent of herbs reminded her of the place she'd spent most of her life, this very den where she'd sort them out and help others with their own treatments. She didn't see her own kits very often, and that was perfectly alright with her- they reminded her of a cat she never wanted to see again, their biological father. Bleddyn was a liar and a cheat, and she felt happier not having to see little copies of him running around the camp. It might have sounded rude, but she didn't want to have to see any remains of that cat, ever again.

"...Huh? Onyx, what did you do do your shoulder?" Lillith asked her mate, surprised that he would hurt himself when he knew better than to do that. "You keep picking fights- that's gonna hurt you really badly some day, you know?" Her voice sounded a bit nervous- she'd been monitoring her own health lately, having felt sick and bloated, possibly a stomachache. The other choice- she didn't want to talk about that.

"Oh, yes I know." Onyx replied, and gave a small smile. "You know, I saw Bleddyn today... in the Dark Forest. He told me something..." he started, and looked at her.

"First he said that he was going to use Chiaki against us... and second..." he paused, his eyes softening. "He said that you were with kits..." he said after a few moments. He had no anger, no resentment. He saw how much a kit changed his own brother, how could he be mad? He wasn't like Bleddyn, who only wanted kits so he had a legacy.

The Oriental's blue orbs were softened, his pupils wide. If Bleddyn was right, then he had to know, because his kin would be the first thing Bleddyn would use against him. He didn't want that. Bleddyn was wrong about one thing. That Lilith would never recover from the things he did. Onyx had been by her side through every melt down, every fight and everything she needed him for. She was already doing well, though some scars never fade.

Onyx couldn't help but to be angry at himself, believing Bleddyn, but Chiaki had been distant. He felt that he had a duty to believe Lilith, and if Bleddyn himself was going to get into his mind, then maybe Lilith had a right to be mad at him. Though most cats would snap back at her, or just end it there, he wouldn't. After a moment of thought he said a few words almost every syndicate would never say.
"You're right. I'm wrong for accusing Chiaki." he said plainly with a sigh, his eyes staring down at his paws. "I'm sorry, I guess I'm getting a bit too sure of myself."
With another small sigh, he looked up at Lilith and stood. "Thanks for the help with my shoulder. But Lilith, take care, will you?" he sighed, and began to pad out of the den.

Pastelle padded inside, dragging her paws along the firmly-packed soil of the ground. The healer's den was not very spacious, yet not cramped either. The many crevices of the den were filled with a various amount of herbs, giving off an earthy smell. The tortoiseshell's first instinct was to back away and retreat back into the clearing- who knows that kind of plants are in here, that could seriously mess up my life? but she didn't want to be known as weak for not entering a mere den.

"Shadow, you should heal him now." She said, as if the procedure was a magic trick. Her eyes were focused on Shadow and Slash alone; no other cats could captivate her attention, and the aroma of herbs and freshly-picked plants would be dizzying if she focused on it for too long.

"I know, I know, Could you get me some wet moss please?" She asked. Her fur was raised as she quickly grabbed some poppy seeds. "Eat these," She sorted threw more herbs. "Borage leaves would maybe work, Feverfew would be best, I don't know how borage would effect him." She grabbed some Feverfew out of a small pile, and nudged them to Slash. Shadow chewed up the marigold and placed it on the wound, and rapped it in the cobwebs. Once she was done, she sat back to look at her work. "Stay here for a few days so I can see how its working. Pastelle, could you go get him a mouse or something? He needs to eat." She said with a final mew/\.

Slash nodded and lapped up the herbs, wincing at their taste. "I'm not leaving anytime soon," he murmured. He glanced at Ash when she came in. "Infected wound," he grunted. Pastelle nodded when Shadow ordered her to get some prey. It was so strange, taking orders from an inferior. She almost was tempted to retaliate back, but what was the point? She’d probably do the same if Slash asked her to, and he most likely did need some prey for his empty stomach.
--
By the time she came back, with energized legs and a limp skinny squirrel hanging from her jaws, the molly scented another she-cat staying close to the bunch. Under further inspection, Pastelle realized what her name was, and that she was Shadow’s friend, or companion healer, or something of the sort. Ash. What a common, run-of-the-mill name. The tortoiseshell dropped the squirrel in front of Slash and listened to the other molly’s comment. Isn’t the transfer from a healer to a fighter nearly impossible though? Assuming that Ash is a healer. Because being a healer is so lesser in rank, and it’d take time to move up.

And then another cat spoke up- Aldrin, someone that she’d seen at some point in her life. What was he doing in the healer’s den? Was he getting healed too? Or was he just musing around for the fun of it? Pastelle had little to do with the fighter, so she decided to ignore him for the time being. In fact, she was just sitting and peering around from cat to cat.

Pastelle shrugged at Slash’s comment, since it had nothing much to do with her, but she’d rather not let the piece of prey go to waste- especially one in the midst of leaf-bare. Many rodents would be hibernating by this point, in their winter-long slumber. Others probably traveled to a more suitable habitat. But that poor, unfortunate squirrel did neither, and it was now prey. Perfect for keeping other cats alive. It shouldn’t be so quickly discarded. And plus, she spent effort to go out into the chilly forest- but it wasn’t as if she liked the healer’s den that much better.

“I’ll eat it if you don’t change your mind.” The molly said to Slash as an afterthought, looking down at the half-eaten carcass. Her whiskers then twitched as her head swiveled towards Shadow, with a new question approaching her mind. “How long would the healing be?”

Forest padded warily into the den. She paws scraped the ground, her Ebony tail dragged along the ground behind her. Blood trickled down the side of her cheek. As she trudged in, she stopped short, her eyes scanning the den, in search of some assistance. She had never had to come into this den in particular before, but now that she saw it, she was quite glad she wasn't going to be a healer. It looked small, smelled terrible and stank of blood, infection and disease as well, but the pungent herbs did a decent job of overpowering that. On her way back she had managed to stop the tears that flowed down her cheeks, but the evidence of tears remained. The black fur on the sides of her nose and down her cheek were wet and slightly crusty from her emotional session. Luckily for her, the water streaks weren't as visible in the dark cavern. She still sniffles everyonce in a while, but she attempted to suppress them as best she could. Before stepping further inside, she cast one doubtful glance behind her. Hamlet had been busy with a strange influx of patients ever since Renn had disappeared- there were no restrictions on going to the clans, and the leaders then had seemed to be much more ruthless than they were now. Thankfully, cats had been getting injured less and less thanks to Halite restoring balance to the Dusk Syndicate, but he still felt slightly overwhelmed- though having his sister back made him feel quite better than he normally did. However, his quiet didn't last for too long, and an injured trainee arrived in the den, his face dropping as the healer saw somebody so young injured already. "Oh my gosh- are you alright? We should patch that up right away!" The younger healer exclaimed as he saw Forest's bloody cheek. "We'll need some cobwebs, I guess- oh, would you keep still, also? We don't want that wound to get infected, now would we?"

Forest kept her Ebony colored head lowered, her nose pointing to the ground. She wasn't proud of her injuries, the way her father was about some of his scars. He had gotten them in noble fights, making the Clan respect him, fighting for justice, or whatever. No she had gotten this because she hadn't done exactly as she was told. There was no boasting rights to this. Only shame. She sighed, her mouth clamped firmly shut. She could feel the tears burning, struggling to be free once again, but she was able to over come the urge for the time being. She didn't want to appear weaker than she already was. She heard the young sounding cat approach her. She listened to him, but never uttered a sound. She kept her body firmly pressed in place, unmoving, perfectly still like a statue. Was every cat in this place so horrid? Did she have to be perfect all the time? Apparently so, or else injuries were inflicted upon her. She wasn't too thrilled with the thought. As she sat there though, Forest allowed her thoughts to drift away through the forest and back into the Clan territories. She thought of the Windclan moor that had been a temporary home for her. She remembered playing with her siblings in the clearing, enjoying their life without much care. Then she remembered Brindlekit. With a shuddering sigh she couldn't help but wondering how she was getting along. Hopefully she was faring better than she was. Even though Brindle had betrayed their beliefs and refused to travel with them, Forest couldn't help but still love her to some extent, she was her sister after all.

"...You know, you look like you're about to cry." Hamlet sighed as he went to fetch some cobwebs to cover the trainee's wounds, combing through his stock of herbs quickly. There weren't as many healers as there used to, and everything ad been rather fast-paced lately. "What happened? You seem a bit shaken up for such a simple injury." He didn't understand how such a small failure could make fighters spin out of control- as a healer, he always had to deal with backlash for what he did wrong. It made him into a more careful cat, managing wounds with absolute care as he'd tried his best to impress everyone around him. His father, Fracture, had told him to look into his heart- not to force himself into a job that he felt he couldn't do, and that seemed to be worth all the insults he received for it.

Forest didn't exactly feel like looking Hamlet in the eye, but she found her gaze slowly wandering to him. He had a gentle tone, one like her mother had used when she was little, but it was different.... "I-I guess I'm just not ready for this. Being a Trainee and all." She said quietly, her voice not much more than a whisper. It was an idea she had been tossing around, that she was weak, she wasn't ready to be a strong fighter like her mother and father. She couldn't tell them that. The infamous Singenight, leader of Windclan and his fearless partner Sorrelskip. Those were her parents, and they had such a background, such an amazing story to tell, that she couldn't help but feel unimportant. "Y'see, I wasn't born here, I was born in the Clans, my father, he was the leader, but he was chased out. That's when a friend of my fathers brought us here. I've been trying to live up to his name, but I feel like I'm failing at everything." She said, her voice a bit stronger now, but still it creaked with recent tears. "It's my first day training and I was told and taught how to kill. I've only heard about killing, never done it. Until today that is..." She said her voice sad. The tom cat was around her age. He had looked like a Windclan apprentice, but she couldn't have been sure. What if Broken had abducted Brindlekit? What would she have done then? "He told me to kill, three apprentices. So I listened and did as I was told. I let two of them escape, but I...I killed the third." She said, her green eyes clouding over. "But that wasn't what truly scared me." She added reluctantly.

Shadow sorted through her dusty herb stores. the tortoiseshell sighed. Ash had left her, now the space where her former trainee's nest had been was now used as extra sleeping space. She sighed, flicking her glossy tail. "Might as well look for a another trainee soon." She mumbled. Shadow wasn't old, at the least. She just liked rambling about herbs and not get yelled at. "Juniper berries are low, and Marigold. Cobwebs are fine, although I might get more while I can. Catmint, hmm." She mumbled to herself. Shadow pushed a set of herbs to the side carefully, also putting up a pile of death berries on a high rock.

Shadow turned around at the voice. She half hoped it was Ash, but it was just Aria. The cat had been around a lot recently, Shadow was starting to think she was a spy. If she wasn't already done with Training, I might have chosen her. Shadow thought, but a few kits had taken the time to come in. Shadow dipped her head at the cat. "Hello Aria, whats the problem?" She mewed, turning from her herbs stores. It better be bad, I need to get more herbs.

The she-cat didn't say anything. The black cat lay on the floor and rolled on her back, exposing her slightly pudgier tummy. "Can you take a look at it for me? I've been eating a lot more recently, but for a good reason...I want them healthy..." 'Them' was a big clue. I really hope I am... "I wanted to run it by you first to make sure...that I actually am..." Aria decided to stop and just smiled on. :lovepoke:

Shadow looked at the she cat oddly. Her belly was large, and when she said, 'Them' Shadow knew what was happening. Shadow approached the cat slowly, sitting in front of her. Shadow wrapped her tail around her, placing a paw on her belly. "Who's that Father?" She asked, feeling her belly. The kits seemed playful, she could feel them wiggle in her belly. Maybe two or three, Aria is to small to hold four. It could happen though...
The She-cat thought about her own life. She had never really wanted kits, but she liked helping. Moving her paws over she pressed on it slightly. "Does this hurt?" She asked.

Shortly after Aria had walked out of the den and Shadow had gotten back to checking her herb stores, there was a rather loud crash and a little bit of a chuckle as a grey blue went hurtling into a nearby stock full of bay leaves, sending them everywhere and also covering himself in it. Sitting up promptly and shaking his head, the relatively old looking tom kit turned his deep blue eyes to the healer with a grin.
"Hey, sorry about that! I just wanted to see how fast I could run, I just didn't see where I was running! I can help you clean up if you want? What since I knocked your plants all over the place and stuff!"
Icarius's voice was leaning more to the deep side the older he got, but it was nearing the point that it was just about as deep as it was going to get. It seemed to carry a note of cheeriness and if you were able to imagine him in other circumstances it was relatively clear he liked to boast about things a lot and could tend to get a bit prideful, but then again, only a cat good at reading others could figure that out at the moment.
"Jeez, it really smells like something in here!" The grey, long-furred kit mewed, wrinkling his nose a bit and flicking the tip of his tail before making a move to start cleaning up the leaves, regardless if the black she-cat wanted him to or not.

Thistle limped into the healer's den, her leg twisted at an odd angle. She was more than a bit grumpy and wanted this to be done and over with. The stupid badger she decided to fight was old, but still strong and experienced. Her leg twinged in pain and she winced. This could be a problem. Normally, she had a pretty high pain tolerance, but her leg hurt more than any wounds ever did. It could also be due to the fact that she had broken that leg before. Thistle shook her head, "Let's not remember that," she told herself. Thistle stood there, deep in her thoughts about what she could've done better. She sighed. All the answers were, "Be faster! Be stronger! Show more sense!" The grey and white she-cat growled at herself and waited.

{Jeez I am sorry about this late reply!}
The kit seemed to take no notice of the cat that was about to speak, going to clean up anyways, even if she had said something, it was very likely that Icarius wouldn't have listened considering he tended to be a very stubborn tom who did what he thought he should do regardless if others frowned upon it.
"I can do that! I mean, my parents don't think so, they say I'm.."
The fluffy kit seemed to pause, trying to recall the word they used to describe him.
"Clumsy! They say I'm clumsy! I don't even know what that means, but I don't think it's true. Wait.. Yes, I know what that means, that means I.. Trip over my paws a lot? Okay.. So maybe I am clumsy, but who cares, I can take on any cat, look how big I am!" The kit rambled on, not even looking to see if she was paying attention until he stopped to try and flex in front of her, looking rather awkward with the movement.
"I'm going to protect my siblings! That's what I'm going to use my size for, and my strength!" Icarius said with some gusto, flicking his tail and moving the last of the herbs into a makeshift pile that hardly resembled the neat stack they had been in before he came along. With that done, he fully turned his attention to Shadow, tilting his head.
"What's your name?"

It wasn't very often that he got another cat to smile at him, normally others simply ignored him or snorted and walked away, not really paying attention to his antics, so when he saw Shadow smile at him, he seemed to brighten up a bit and started to grin widely at her, his fluffy tail sticking straight up in the air. Though he was a kit, he was actually fairly large and he had good reason for claiming that he was strong and willing to protect his siblings and what not. The only thing was that he really was clumsy and before he could ever really hurt another cat he'd very likely end up hurting himself.

A pure white tom stumbled into the healers’ den, pelt stained in scarlet and crimson red from where his own blood poured from wounds. They were scattered, the other cat being a very skilled fighter to have landed blows accurately. There was one along his temple, then a tear in his ear. There was another going along his back, then one on his shoulder. The cat managed to claw just below his neck neck and on his chest. And finally, a quite painful one, a rather deep bite on his tail. His tail was a weak spot. Very sensitive. His head felt light, eyes half-lidded as blood trickled down above them. He wondered if he’d have any scars. Probably not. They may not have gotten him too bad, but the amount of blood coming from the amount of wounds wasn't a pleasant feeling. His slitted silvery blue eyes wandered around the den, looking for a healer that may have seen him by now

His slitted silvery blue eyes wandered around the den, looking for a healer that may have seen him by now
Percival had been in the healers den for bit now. Having no fur restricted his paws from wandering when it came to winter, the cold easily seeping through his skin. He was in a corner of the healer den, sorting the very few herbs that he had. There wasn't much from is being winter and him not being able o go outside of the den often,he felt bad. His large, dome like ears perked and twitched when he heard another cat enter the den,the scent of blood seeping into his nose. He was on his paws in an instant, green hues staring against ridged blue ones. He had seen the other tom before, but he had never gotten his name before. "Oh no! Come here, over here and lay in this nest while I check your injuries, lay down-I-I don't want you to hurt yourself even more." his voice was small sounding, like usual. And its it frantic down from his eyes glazing over his injuries briefly. He guided the other cat to a pre-made nest in the den, motioning to it. he was a worry wart, fretting over anything that dealt with violence. What if he caught an infection and there wa nothing he could do? Ds cats only knew how to treat a wound, but not prevent infection. What if he messed up,what if-

He was glad a healer found him soon enough. He limped as quickly as he could to the nest, just trying to get this whole ‘healing’ thing over with. While doing so, he looked back up at the other tom with rather cold eyes which said something in between “hurry up,” “I’m about to black out, help” and “I don't know who the heck you are, but I better walk out this den alive and in one piece.” When he finally made his way to the nest, he immediately collapsed onto his belly, though he stayed awake. He looked up at the taller tom, watching him. He raised a brow when he noticed the hint of apprehensiveness in his expression. Though he felt too tired to say anything about it. His ear twitched, which made him wince since it was the torn one. A bit of blood flicked off of it. He didn't feel the need of saying anything right now, as he might as well not waste what he has left on talking unless the healer asked something first. He just wanted to hurry this up and get out of here, and maybe even put the fighter who decided to pick a fight with him in his place.

As soon as the tom lied down he started to work. The scent of herbs was very apparent in the den, even more with his shuffling to get the correct leaves. He mumbled the correct herbs under his breath as he picked them out with a claw, "Comfry...cob webs...Dock.." his voice was hushed, his english accent lacing through as he sorted. He picked them up with his maw gently, ignoring the slight taste in his mouth as his teeth prodded at the leaves. He brought them over to the tom, placing the leaves down next to the nest. He bent over him and sniffed, his nose close to the wounds on his ear and shoulder. "I will have to lick these clean to prevent infection, is that alright with you?" his voice was quiet and unsure, because he knew some cats liked to clean themselves instead of others. "And also, what's your name?"

His eyes followed the hairless tom as he gathered the herbs, it being quiet enough for him to hear his English accent name the herbs he was bringing up. When the healer spoke to him once more, he had once question on his mind, There aren't any herbs to prevent infections? He shook the thought from his head before mumbling, "Do whatever you have to.." Before looking away. Though, his ear twitched which he asked for his name. He winced again, since this was the ear that had a tear. Again. Anyways, his name was strange, and a little hard to remember. "Zotuosy," he said, his voice just a little scratchy, "and yours?" He looked back up him.

The dark great tom nodded, leaning over him and begun to gently run his tongue across the other toms shoulder and over his wound. He wished that the healers were taught herbs with more variety, but healers only knew the basics. He wanted to help more, he wanted to give more but he was only given so much. His touches were soft and gentle, as if he were a mother bathing a kit. "That's a nice name," he mewed, a gentle smile on his face. "My names Percival, but you can call my Perci if you'd like." After cleaning the shoulder wound he spat out any fur that had gotten in his mouth and moved to sniff the toms ears and proceed to do the same thing, his tongue rasping gently over the wound to clean it as much as possible.

He wished that the healers were taught herbs with more variety, but healers only knew the basics. He wanted to help more, he wanted to give more but he was only given so much. It did hurt, the feeling of Perceval’s rough tongue against his raw wounds. But, he’d have to stand it if he didn't want an infection. Though it didn't hurt as much as it probably usually would, since his touches were as gentle as he could get them. When the healer complimented his name, he just stared up at him. Nobody has ever said that before. They always thought it was strange, though not many cats knew it came from his twoleg. He was a loner when he joined DS, though his backstory was something he could talk about later. It was unimportant as of now. “Thanks..” He looked away. When the other tom told him his name, he repeated it,”Perceval. Perci.” And looked back up, “That's not such a bad name as well.” Now that he had gone to his hears, it hurt just a tiny bit more since it was a more sensitive part of his body. Though, he still didn't show any sign of pain.

He drew his tongue across his ear a few times before he was satisfied, bending over the tom to pick up his herbs and chewed them into a pulp, wincing slightly at the taste in his mouth. He gently licked the herbs onto the toms shoulder wound. "This soud ease the pain, if it grows infected give it a good lick. I recommend coming back every day for me to reapply this, okay?" his voice was soft as his eyes glazed over the injuries. "May I ask how you got these?" he didn't like to pry, seeing as violence was common in the Dusk Syndicate, but he still couldn't help but worry for the other even if he didn't know him well.

The tom didn't really respond to Perci’s thanks, but continued to avoid eye contact by looking in the other direction. When the tom spoke again, he simply gave a small nod before bringing himself to sit up, but a slouch. So, he had to come here every day? Bummer. Oh well. When the tom asked how he got the wounds, he could feel his own fur bristle along his neck and back. He had never liked the cat who had picked the fight with him, and he obviously won't be too happy with him now. Wait, why exactly did the he care? Didn’t they just meet today? Maybe it was normal, for them to ask their patients about what had happened. He hesitated for a second, “A fight.” Wow, very informative. Well, that was the truth… Maybe the other tom wanted more detail? Eh, he’d have to ask for it if he did. Honestly, he hated coming to the healers’ den. He didn’t go often or anything, he just didn’t like going when he did. Sometimes he felt that he didn’t even need to be treated. And it’s not like he hated the healers, he just didn’t like some of the questions they asked. The ones that made him think of things he didn’t want to think of. Of course, this one wasn’t too bad so he let it slide.

He might be a skittish cat but he wasn't dumb. He knew the Dusk Syndicate were known to be aggressive, and pushy. So maybe he wasn't one to pry at another cats business. He noticed the toms fur bristle, puffing out a bit. He drew a paw over the fluffed out fur, calming it down into its proper place. He continued to gently lick the herbal liquid onto his shoulder wound. "Face me a bit so I can get your chest wound," he asked gently, eyes kind. "And I'm sorry if I pried." he mewed shyly, his voice sincere. He bent down and sniffed the leaves he had left, chewing up more leaves. He didn't like to pry in other cats business, asking questions simply out of curiosity.

A light ginger female was around the herb pile, organizing it for the convenience of herself and the others. She was a certified healer in the Dusk Syndicate. Her job is to keep the clan healthy and to heal injuries. While their work for saving lives would have been honored in the clans, here in the Syndicate, their work goes underappreciated to the point where they are physically and verbally abused, and then the healers are supposed to take care of those abusers. Life didn't seem all that great for her here. She took a deep sigh as she continued to organize and looked out at her den. This is where she lives, eats, sleeps, and works. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say she may not experience daylight for a few days. It may not have seemed like much to her, but hey, not every cat gets to have a privileged life, some must have the short end of the stick. That is life here. This is home

A grey tabby tom limped into the Healer's den. His yellow orbs were towards the ground as he entered the lonely area. There were only a few healers in the entirety of the Syndicate, and even less actually go to seek them out for help or anything. Due to this, the den seemed empty and even cold. His fluffy out his short fur and slowly lifted his orbs towards anyone who would be in the den.

Although he wasn't against Healer's like most cats, he also rarely wen to see them. Many of the Syndicate cats saw the Healers as below them and the weaker links of their group, therefore he was always afraid to go and see them. Kacey hadn't been born into the Syndicate and use to be a loner, so he was cautious about entering the den. He didn't want anyone to think of him as weak and begin to pick on him. The tabby may not pick on the Healer's like most cats, but he wasn't too sure about socializing with them in case he got bullied because of it.

Kacey was a kind tom, but he didn't always show it since he believed that was how to survive the Syndicate. So he did never bully any of the Healers... he just didn't seem to bother with them. He kept his distance from them, but he did in fact do the same to many of the cats in the Syndicate. Though he was kind, he actually wasn't too friendly and did keep a good space between him and anyone he believed to be a jerk... which was hard to find someone who wasn't like that around here.

Rosaleen didn't see the tom come in, but heard tiny shuffling and the sudden smell of blood behind her. She turned around and saw a grey tom in serious need of attention and care. She placed down the herbs she was working on and quickly paced over to were the tom was. She said nothing verbally to him, though as her eyes darted back and forth gazing at the damage, it could be said her eyes were speaking for her. Rosaleen had learned that it was probably best to keep a tongue shut when in the presence of other Syndicate cats, only really speaking if needed to or if one commanded her to. After evaluating the tom's injury, she steps over to the side of him and with soft yet bold voice, she cooly says, "Follow me," She stays at his side while taking him to the nearest empty nest so he can place some of his weight on her to help him walk a bit easier. In her mind, she was already going through the procedures on how to patch him up, her lips moving a bit as she reads through her mental list.

Lilith had never liked the fact that healing others was her calling. She hated the negative attention that it brought, and the stereotypes that surrounded her about it- but all of this, it was either heal or to be cast out into the wild, to fend for yourself. Her mother was a foolish kittypet, and her father had been a clan cat who couldn't care less about her safety, having been dropped off by the Dusk Syndicate's borders at only around five moons. She hated both of them with a passion, but she'd never have been able to survive without having been taken in, trained and conditioned for the hatred she would receive for being a healer. She'd become jaded over these past few moons, and life experiences had turned her mood sour- however, she'd never exactly held a grudge against the Syndicate itself rather than the cats inside of it who'd left her for dead. She'd still had a scar across her cheek from an unhappy patient, somebody who'd gone blind because of her- because she couldn't work hard enough. Every day, it seemed like she'd done her best, but nobody cared. Nobody took her advice, nobody listened. Shuffling her paws as she sorted herbs in her den quietly, this time, she didn't listen- all she focused on were the leaves.

Having been alone himself, the tom never really knew his true worth until he made his way to the Syndicate. He was sweet and kind before but something was missing. He found that something, which led to many foolish acts and life changing consequences. He was born from a rogue and clan-er, left aloe because his mother was ashamed of herself, and of them. Surviving on only themselves, he and his siblings made the best of the moons, and they were even loved by all clan cats. Many, from all clans, came to the den and had a good time, play fighting and talking, getting acquainted and seeing they weren't so different after all. That was the true light that they held, but the light died when Lynx's former mate was killed. Then the spark died, and they no longer let anyone into their lives. He then stumbled upon the Syndicate. He was planning to get strong here than go off to join a clan, but that didn't happen. He grew into liking the evil it held, how it pulsed through the earth like a beating heart layed beneath the dirt. This was his calling. And he couldn't embrace it more than how he was.

He walked into the den, hoping to speak with his mate since he haven't in a while. He did love her, no matter how evil he was. He loved her and the kits. He'd give his life for them, but only them. He saw her sorting the leaves, and padded to her. "Hello, Lilith." he said, walking up to her. "How have you been fairing?" he asked, sitting by her, looking at the herbs. He knew a few, from watching her and stuff but he kept it to the important basics, just in case of a battle. He looked at her, his blue orbs flashing like they always did wit her. He had talked to his kits, gotten his trainee, however who was picked broke his heart a little more. Caliginosity, son of his sworn enemy. However, he put that aside. Now he just wanted to talk and spend time with Lilith.

He had talked to his kits, gotten his trainee, however who was picked broke his heart a little more. Caliginosity, son of his sworn enemy. However, he put that aside. Now he just wanted to talk and spend time with Lilith.

As she'd been sorting herbs by herself diligently, Lilith could hear footsteps echoing behind her, though she didn't care to turn around and figure out who it was. She'd thought that she could just take a bit of a break from her work by making sure her den was tidy, though she wasn't all that disappointed in the voice which sounded behind her as well. Turning around, she could see her mate, Onyx- somebody who wasn't really the most reliable cat, but who had rescued her from hard times, which she'd often felt she had to repay him for. Bleddyn, her first mate, was a monster- and the kits she had with him always reminded her of their father, no matter how hard she tried. In fact, Onyx was training one of them, who she called Cal in her head- though really, none of her kits cared to talk to her much except for one. Chiaki, a full fighter now, who also seemed to idolize her father- she was the only one of her kits who'd formally met him.

"Oh- hello." She tilted her head to the side just for a quick second, trying to get a good look at the tom's jet-black fur and bright blue eyes- he was handsome, that was for sure. "I'm doing fine- a little roughed up, but it's alright." Her eyes darted to a cut on her paw for a second before cutting away again, trying to smile for a second. She was never the happiest cat, but she thought that Onyx liked it when she smiled, and so she'd do it for him. Really, she felt like she could tear somebody's throat out right now- she was stressed out, but somehow the malleable personality she'd carried when she was with Bleddyn still shined through when it came to her new mate. In fact, her old one still haunted her dreams- it hurt. "How's my son doing?" She sighed- referring to Cal as she organized another pile of leaves for a second.

Ears perked up as he heard Aria enter the den, his eyes looking to her before looking to Shadow as she asked if he wanted to help. With an excited nod, he eagerly nodded his head. "Sure, that sounds like fun!"
Prancing over, the fluffy kit would stand beside the healer as she began to look at the queen, listening to what Shadow had to say and eagerly nodded his head with wide, thirsty eyes, trying to soak this up like a sponge so that he could get it right the first time.
"Oval tear drop leaf, got it!" Whipping around, Icarius would race over to the stores, ears perked up as he attempted to search through the confusing bundles of leaves and flowers and pulps for what he was asked to retrieve. Until finally he spotted leaves that matched her description. Unsure of how many to grab, he simply took a mouthful of them carefully into his mouth before racing back over and playing them at her paws with a delighted curl of his tail, waiting for her to explain what to do next.

Gorse padded in and set a black tom in a nest "Can we have help? We were training and I clawed his neck." She knew Needle did but she wanted him to not get in trouble. Her eyes showed fear. She looked at the cobwebs she put on and they were crimson red. " he's bleeding badly" she wailed. She placed a paw on his flank and didn't feel any movement. She looked at his eyes and they were clouded. *"Death!"

The tom did as he was told, facing the other and lifting his chin slightly. He flicked his tail at what Perci said next. “It's fine,” He mumbled, not wanting to even talk due to the wounds that were making him feel weak. He knew ‘Its fine’ wouldn't be very convincing, and that he had just a little more he could say, but he didn't feel like doing anything but lay down and take a nap forever. He knew the other tom was just curious, but he also didn't like when cats asked too many questions. Perceval didn't ask a lot or anything, but he didn't want him to be one of those cats who got on his nerves. He had too many of those.

He constantly wondered if it was a bad idea to kill Bleddyn, but looking at Lilith he knew he saved lives by killing him. Breathing in, he then looked to her again, and smiled as she smiled at him. He did indeed like it when she smiled, he felt he was doing a good job at keeping her steady, sane at least. Even if he was insane. He gave her a soft lick to her cheek lovingly.

"So, darling, besides endless herb sorting, have you been able to get out to see the world?" he asked, knowing how she was sometimes how she'd keep herself in the den to just get away from the hate that's outside of it. He didn't like that. He was always trying to get her to see the world. "If not, well then leave those alone. You need some fresh air." he said, giving her a smile. He was calm, cool, content, his eyes showed it, and his handsome smile, the one that grabbed her when they first met, showed it. Take away his scars and he'd be one of the most handsome toms in the syndicate. Having bypassed his old plans, new ones have arisen in his mind.

"Okay." the hairless tom said softly, focusing on his work. He grazed his tongue gently across the others chest, trying not to hurt him in anyway. It was a pretty awkward place to be licking, seeing as usually mates only got this close but,it was his job after all. To heal cats. "Sometimes I don't see why we resort to violence, when it just hurts us in the end." he mumbled softly, still applying the herbs to the toms chest. It was true, he wasn't one for violence at all, hated it infact. He was a peacemaker, rather then a fighter, which is what lead him to his role as a healer. He liked to heal cats, to make them better and not hurt anymore, but he wish he didn't have to heal, that there were no injuries in the first place.
He sighed.

The tom watched as the Healer approached him in silence. He wasn't sure if the cut was bad or not... of course, it was bad enough for him to come and seek attention for the wound. Kacey wasn't sure if he should ask anything, like if it would get infected or maybe not even heal. He wasn't good at assessing wounds, so he was worried that maybe the bleeding wound was worse then it actually was. His shoulder was bad, but it wasn't anything permanent. All he would need was something to stop the bleeding, prevent infection and then rest as the wound closes and becomes sore.

But he still knew nothing of herbs and healing.

The tabby was also unsure of Rosaleen's silence. She wasn't speaking as she observed his wounded shoulder and he felt himself grow more and more nervous at this fact. Maybe I'm reading too much into this? He tries to convince himself to relax. She didn't seem overly worried for him. He supposed that she was use to wounds - despite the lack of patients in a place like this - and she would know whether this was really bad or not.

Kacey perked up when the molly final spoke up. He gave a curt nod and quickly followed her towards the nest that she leading him to. "Is it bad?" He questioned, noticing how she was softly mouthing some of the herbs that she was going to have to give him. His pelt began to rise again as he realized that this wasn't going to be as quick as he had anticipated. "Will it take long? I mean... will I be able to continue my duties soon?" Kacey still didn't want to be considered weak by the others, and staying in her for too long would definitely not be good for him. The tom had tried for moons to soon like he fit in the Syndicate.

After reaching the nest and he nestled in, she immediately went over to the herbs. Now, the healers of Dusk Syndicate weren't as knowledgeable about all herbs, nor do they have access to all of the herbs the forest has to offer. So the herbs all the healers had at the moment were very minimum. She grabs some cobweb from the pile she was organizing earlier. She searched for a thyme herb and a dock leaf, but could not find any in the pile she was looking in. She looked over and spotted some dock and thyme at the pile where another healer was speaking to a dark colored tom. Quickly and quietly, she pads over, grabs the things she needs and with a quick friendly glance of the healer and a curious look of the dark tom before returning to her patient. As she came back, her ears perked up as he asked her a question. She placed the herbs near him and opened her mouth to answer him. "Well, you aren't going to die from it, if that is what you are concerned about." she began, "But no, the wounds are deep, but not too much to cause permanent damage to you." She placed her herbs in order she shall use them, the cobwebs first, then the thyme leaves, then the dock. He made a following question which caused her to give him a strange look. "What do you have to do that is so important for you to do right now?" she huffed, raising an eye. "If you go out and try to do certain duties immediately after I treat them, then the wound will just open up again and I can't really assure you that you will come back alive the second time. So, in order for you to get better, I suggest resting here a bit after I treat your wound and remaining in camp for a while.” She knew many Dusk Syndicate cats, too soaked in their blood stained prides to listen to her advice and will leave immediately anyways, only for them to have more injuries on them. A lot aren't able to survive the second time. Rosaleen doesn't like to think so morbidly all the time, but these deaths just a few foolish Syndicate cats that isn't her responsibility anymore, which would grant her peace of mind, if these cats didn't have cats of their own that were just as foolish and prideful as their parents. And the cycle continues. “Now, before I start, I must clean your wound to prevent infection.” Not a lot of cats wasn't comfortable by getting cleansed and in their defense, Rosaleen completely understands why. It is very uncomfortable to be licked by a cat you don't know, even if it's just to prevent further sickness. It makes you feel vulnerable and uneasy and overall not a good feeling at all. It must be done, however. It is a necessary act to do for the overall well being of a cat.

"...That's not a good thing." Lilith mumbled, her fur bristling as Onyx replied that Cal was turning out like his father- sure, Bleddyn was strong, but he was a manipulative mastermind who had made her fear for her own sanity when she was with him. She never wanted to see that cat again, not in any of her kits- she hated him too much to even feel good thinking about herself, though not one of the herbs she sorted would make her feel better about who she was. She'd tried to help her, and yet she was brushed off like a kitten. "Being here with you is fine with me." She didn't mention that she'd been badmouthing Onyx as well- she didn't want him to get too mad and start a fight.
Turning his head at her bristling fur, he nodded. "I know this." he said plainly. As he did the flashbacks of the battles flooded his mind, as he took the life from the dark russet and ebony tom. A snarl began to rise in him but he suppressed it enough before it got too loud to be mistaken as directed at Lilith. Clearing his throat, he straightened himself, and watched, listened.

When she said her last words he smiled, a genuine, calm smile. He gave her cheek another lick, and pressed on her lovingly. "Well, the herbs don't bother much when you're sorting them." he meowed. He wasn't much of a flirt around her, she really didn't like toms like that, but he tried to say nice things every once in a while. He never said her name much, mostly called her "love", because that was what she was.

He'd heard rumours of Lilith and the other molly, Blade. He didn't believe it, not sure if he was too stubborn or just to blind, but he would never believe it. As he was her stability, she was his. The only barrier between Onyx trying to kill Halite, to make his evil dreams of being "king" come true, was the beautiful molly in front of him. He thought of her, of his kits, how their family seemed like a perfect one, unlike most in the Dusk Syndicate. Where someone died, or the family broke up, or power and fame got the best of them, they killed each other, or all. Power and fame nearly broke this family but Onyx managed to slip away, for the sake of Lilith and his kits.

"So, love, I was thinking maybe when you are done working you can come on a small stroll. See the stars, or the stream. Just talk." he said, smiling at her. His icy-blue orbs showed no coldness, no hate, but love. He loved her, there was no mistaking it, and this love what what kept him from the hate he held in his heart.

"...Sure." She whispered, her tail flicking in slight annoyance as she shelved away all of the herbs she yet to reorganize, what with the changing of the seasons having arrived and new herbs already starting to grow, which required her to be out in the territory anyways. Getting up put a slight strain on her paws- it was almost as if she'd been gaining a bit of weight herself, but she hadn't seemed to have been eating much, a mystery which she could solve with some more specific herbs another time. "...They really don't. It's another thing I can count on not having to deal with when I'm busy with sorting them- herbs never talk back, even if they don't make very interesting conversation anyways." She let out an exasperated sigh as she looked out into the clearing- it was a ruckus out there, but she was fine with going on a walk if it made Onyx happier. "Though I'm not exactly sure if it's late enough to see the stars yet- I think the sun's just setting, but I'm not exactly sure." She mumbled, gesturing to the beautiful sky as she looked out of the den quietly.

Her fur was the color of frost, which complimented her rather cold personality- she wasn't the nicest, and didn't enjoy having to act like she was some kind of sweetheart who loved to smile. In all honesty, the act was getting old, and the advice a friend of hers had given her almost seemed reliable, though she chose to wait- there were two lives that were almost hanging in the balance thanks to her doubt, lives that she believed could be in danger thanks to Onyx's... tendency to kill, to attack.

She had every right to worry. Onyx's tendencies where not at all pleasant in the least. His love for killing, for striking at the slightest glare added to his deadly personality. He likes spilling blood. Loves the feel, the rush he gets when he ends the life of another poor soul who dared step in his way. They had it coming. But one thing no one realized, not even Lilith, was he was planning. He always had been, always will be, until the moment comes where he could make his plans come to life. It will be a battle, one he will win. But for now that battle only happened in his unbalanced mind. If only he was good, he would actually make for a rather excellent leader. But he killed and murdered, and lost every chance to prove himself.

As she pushed the herbs, he gave a slight smirk. One she couldn't hear. He then turned to the entrance and began to walk, looking back and slowing so she could follow. He liked it when they both walked out and people would look, to see the king and his queen walking out. That's how everyone else saw it. The king and queen walking out. Mostly from his once frequently used name, The False King. And there was not a soul who had not known their relationship. "Ready?" he asked, giving her a smile.

He sighed.

The white tom was silent for a moment, debating whether or not he should say something. He didn’t fully agree with the hairless tom, but also didn't want to sound ill-mannered. Why did he even care? Well, he was a healer after all and he should show some respect or something since he was healing him. He just usually didn't think before speaking like he did now. “Well, sometimes it's all we think of and all we can resort to.” He huffed. It felt kind of weird to be licked over his chest like this- he wasn't used to cats getting so physically close to him if not in a battle. And considering it was what mates did, that only made it more awkward. No strangers would do this, but again, Percival was a healer. It was merely his job. “I don't think you’d understand.” He mewed rather bluntly, not the smallest bit aware of his tone at first. But of course he wouldn't, he was only talking and doing so as if he'd respond to any other cat. Though, once he noticed it, he regret speaking again. He didn't show how he felt on the inside, so it looked like he meant to sound bitter and the exact opposite of how he wanted to sound.

I dont think you'd understand. Scars littered his own body, they were apparent on his hairless skin. Him being a healer, he was constantly bullied for his lowest rank, constantly mocked, belittled, when all he wanted to do was help others. I think I know more then you do. He didn't say anything. He wasn't a cat to be rude, he was rather kind when it came to others. "Maybe I don't." he mewed softly, sighing. He continued to lick the herbal liquid onto the toms chest, it still felt somewhat awkward seeing as usually you wouldn't groom another cat there unless you were...close.But it was his job,and he would do it right. The tom reminded him of his brother, blunt and somewhat rude, but he was always drawn to those cats, seeing as he was the exact opposite.

Maybe he did say something wrong. But why would he care about what the other tom thought? They did just meet after all. He didn't know him, so didn't know if he was the type of cat who he would bother going through trouble just for a good opinion. Maybe it was his fault, he let it happen, not thinking before speaking, as always. He just couldn't wait to leave to think about it for a moment and continue with his duties as a fighter. He didn't respond, letting the healer do what was necessary to bring him to the best state possible- even if it was an awkward position to be in. They weren't close, so why were they so physically close? It was just Percival's job. It's what every healer did to the cats they didn't know and weren't close to. They had to care for and patch up any cats who've been harmed or gotten sick, no matter who they were. The tom's wounds ached, still wincing slightly when his wounds were touched. At least they were as gentle touches as he could get. He wouldn't want some healer he had never spoken to to open his wounds even more and make them worse, so luckily the hairless tom knew what he was doing.

The chest was the last place to apply herbal liquid too, the rest covered in a layer of the chewed leaves. Green eyes gazed at his herb work, satisfied with what he has done. No matter how many cats saw him everyday,no matter how much it pained him to be a healer and watch his fellow members hurt,he always loved his job. He had scars littered on his own body, mainly from bullying of other cats. The social pyramid was ever tense in the syndicate, cats often reminding him that he was lower then everybody else. He always tried to keeps his hopes up though, giving a soft smile at the patched up fighter. "You're all patched up, though please try to keep it easy, keep those claws to yourself, and come back to me every day so I can reapply your wounds. I don't want you to get sick, okay?" his voice was as if he were a mother, showing genuine concern for the other cat,his eyes soft. He did care about his fellow mates, whether they abused him or not, left scars on him, or anything. He always liked to care for others in anyway he could.

The tom huffed, tail flicking in slight irritation. Why didn’t he want him to be sick? They weren’t close- Why would he care? Just so he wouldn’t have to work on him all over again? Cat’s a-are so lazy these days! He sat up, fur bristling a little, “You’re not my mother! But..” His eyes flickered to his tail wound to all the others over his body. “But I guess I have to listen,” he scoffed. Would he have to walk around camp all day with these green herbs scattered all over his body? He hoped not. That’d be pretty awkward and embarrassing. He looked out the den at the spring clearing and at the other cats who were just fine, being in the condition to be able to go out on a hunt. Stupid wounds. Stupid non-self-healing body. Stupid cats that had to get on his nerves. Might as well just stay since he wouldn’t be able to do anything but lay and breathe. Besides, he’d have to come back every day anyways. He was useless for now, not to mention it’d look awkward to be walking around to green waste sticking all over on his body. “So, uh.. I keep this on?” He motioned with his tail to the green chewed-up herbs on his chest wound.

A black tom walked quietly in the den, practicall hopping due to having one of their front paws pressed to their nose, which upon a closer look was bleeding rather profusely. He was unsure how the bloodflow had started, but even more uncertian how is had started, and didn't want cats to go thinking he got bashed in the nose; only one healer needed to, please and thank you. Turning his angled head, he looked around for somecat to treat it, hoping it wouldn't be someone gossipy or anything.

[ im so happy!! xx You were testing me with a nosebleed - i didnt know how to treat those so i did my research and found something to use =P ]

Rori, incapable of finding something to occupy themselves with, jumped at the opportunity to keep busy. Immediately, they glanced the tomcat over, and it didn't take them much to determine that the black tomcat was suffering of a nosebleed. His paw would surely be drowned in blood if his nose was not treated to. ``I'll be right with you,`` they chirped, lashing their tail before whipping around and retreating to the poor herb storage.

Within a matter of seconds, the gray-brown tabby healer stood before their patient with a dull green herb clamped carefully yet firmly between their jaws. Rori set the herb down before their patient. They didn't think the oh-so-mighty fighter or hunter before them would feel comfortable with them shoving an unknown herb upon them. ``I'm Rori,`` they introduced casually, ``and this is my trusty yarrow,`` they gestured to the herb on the ground using their paw. ``This is a rather simple solution to your predicament. Simply clog your nostril with the herb. It sounds as if it won't work, but believe me, it does, and it's also a healthy treatment. And I doubt you'd be interested in prancing around camp, flaunting the herb in your nose to our coldhearted group mates, so feel free to accept my invitation to stay for a while.``

If you don't get better that might slow you down when fighting." he mewed, hopefully his words motivated the other cat to keep the herbs on him, guessing he didn't want to be slowed down and lose another fight. He liked helping his clanmates, and didn't give them requirements just to shoo them out of his den,but because he genuinely wanted them to get better. Off to the side of the clearing, the main hub of the Dusk Syndicate, a small brown feline moved quietly, brilliant blue eyes watchful and weary as she approached the center of her former home. Her sleek brown fur was still drying from her involuntary swim earlier that day, and her claws were unsheathed, digging into the muddy earth beneath her. The clearing was relatively quieter than is usually was, and the she-cat couldn't spot any form of command anywhere. Or the cat she was looking for, for that matter. Just a few members scattered about the clearing, all talking amongst themselves, two kits tumbling outside what looked like a makeshift nursery, all of which held no interest for her. The brown she-cat halted her steps, parting her jaws to draw in the air around her. Even through all this time, she knew she would catch his scent anywhere she went.

It had been moons since Bellatrix had left the Syndicate. She hadn't told anyone about her departure, not even her brother Hamlet. Never did it feel right to her to just tell him she was leaving, because she didn't want to be convinced to stay. Her mind had been made up, and she had just... left. There hadn't been much for her outside of this lifestyle though, and through all the homes she had lived in during her time away, the place she grew up kept calling her back home. When she had left, Renn had just been made the commander, and the Syndicate appeared to be on it's way to being a formidable threat, and at that time Bella had wanted nothing to do with the group anymore. It was a daily struggle that she went through with herself, of hating what the group stood for, hating that she was born with fighting abilities that made her a target for guard training later on down the road.

Now that she had returned though, Bella saw no trace of Renn or even Peach anywhere in camp. It made her a little cautious to know who had taken over in their place, but she shrugged the thought off and continued searching for her brother's scent. Picking up a faint trace of it that slowly grew stronger as she approached, the she-cat stopped outside the healer's den. Despite not having been here when he had been made a healer, she always knew that's the path Hamlet would choose. She paused outside the den, her heart pounding. What if her brother wasn't here? What if the cat in her dreams had been lying to her? It was unusual for Bella to be this stressed out or anxious - usually she just barreled forward regardless of the consequences or dangers. However something was different. Shaking her head, the brown feline pushed her way through into the Healer's den and let her eyes adjust before spotting a familiar figure. She simply ignore the others within the den as she spotted the one cat she was looking for. "Hey Hamlet. Did you miss me?" she purred softly, not letting the relief that washed over her like a wave make an appearance on her face.

Percival had a point. Zotuosy hated when another cat was right. Unlike Percival, the tom had about zero patience and zero tolerance with anyone and anything. They were like complete opposites, and he was a little glad because if he was to get a healer with a similar personality, there would’ve probably been more wounds over his body. It’s not like he’d stop fighting them either. He was like one of those dogs that once they bite, the don’t let go. You can’t stop him after he starts. And he won’t stop until success or death. That doesn’t only go for fights, either. That was something he may or may not like about the tom. “I guess so..” He mumbled. But it’s not like he wanted to walk around camp with chewed-up plants sticking all over his body. He squeezed his eyes shut, sucking in a breath but pursing his lips tight to suppress a groan. “Well then I just may as well stay here, I’m pretty much useless as of now.” The tom growled. But it’s not like he wanted to stay there. No, he’d much rather go out and be some kind of use, but he was already here. What was the point in going when he won’t be doing anything? Not to mention the awkward feeling of the herbs sticking on his wounds- and if cats were to stare stare at him. He supposed it might have been partially his fault. Oh well, he’ll have to wait a painfully long time for his wounds to heal.

Hamlet had been rather busy in his den lately-- apparently, there were a lot more Dusk Syndicate cats getting into border skirmishes with SkyClan cats recently, since they now shared a border with the newly-arrived clan. He didn't care too much for the clans in general, and he'd happened to visit one awhile ago- RiverClan- with a rather handsome- though terribly agressive- tom named Storm. Working in his small space in the empty den by himself, he sorted some of his herbs accompanied by only the silence in the area, which he'd loathed at first but now happened to be getting used to. However, at the sounds of ruckus by the den entrance and a scent he didn't seem to recognize at first, the now full healer's eyes widened at the sudden appearance of his long-lost sister, Bellatrix.

"...Bella?" He exclaimed, his face filled with both surprise and happiness as he gasped. She'd disappeared while the two were still trainees together, and never bothered to tell him where she'd be going from there. He'd assumed she was killed by a fox or executed in secret for something like treason, though he didn't know why- she was much too cunning to be defeated by a fox, and she was more of an ideal Syndicate member than he was. "I can't believe you're back- where have you been all this time?" Hamlet asked, his fur still bristled in the surprise of his sister's sudden return. At a quiet time like this, it wasn't at all what he was expecting.

At her brother's surprise, Bella managed to stifle a laugh, shaking her head. "You didn't really think I was gonna be gone forever, did you?" she mewed, not bothering to answer his question. It wasn't something she was going to discuss here, where others could potentially overhear. She had resented coming back, but now that she was, her game face was on, the unreadable mask that she learned to wear in the Syndicate. She took a couple steps forward and halted before her brother, sitting down and simply glancing at what he was working on. Herbs, of course. She hadn't expected anything different, because unlike her, Hamlet was kind and good, and fit right into the world of helping others and healing them, despite the disrespect he must have endured by choosing that position within the Syndicate. A heavy weight of guilt fell on her shoulders as she realized she hadn't been here to help him through that. It showed on her face for a brief second before disappearing altogether.

Shaking her head, she looked up at Hamlet, studying his expression. Shock, for one, which was understandable. Bella knew eventually she would have to explain where she was, a thought that internally made her quiver. But not here, and not now. Instead, the brown feline looked towards the entrance, her deep blue eyes glazed over in thought. "What happened with Renn? It seems like total chaos here. And what's this about a SkyClan I've been hearing about?" she inquired, returning her gaze to meet her brothers. Her forepaws flexed beneath her, anticipation racing through her veins.

The small toms dome like ears perked, them flopping slightly when the fighter said he was going to stay here. To him atleast, it seemed he didnt like his company to much but he ignored it. He was used to being picked on and given attitude for him being the lowest rank, he had grown used to low treatment. Though he remained positive, giving a small nod. ¨Go ahead and make yourself at home then, if you need I can go get things to make your nest more comfortable, I know they arent the best. But Im sure I can manage to find a few feathers.¨ his tone was kind, despite the other tom having attitude towards him. He knew the other cat didnt mean it, he looked passed his outer look immediately. He turned and allowed the tom to get settled, sniffing his nose in some dried herbs that were unorganized in a corner. He picked them up gently and started to organize, setting aside the herbs hed have to use on the other tom for his nightly appliance.

The grey tabby watched Rosaleen as she quickly headed towards the stock of herbs that was used by all the Healers in the Syndicate. Though he had no intentions of being one himself, Kacey couldn't help but let his yellow gaze follow her in curiosity to what kind of herbs she was going to take out for treating him. The tom hardly knew even the basics, so it wasn't like he could name any of the herbs he could see. He also didn't know what they were used for, which only made him a bit more stressed as she began to pull some out in order to help him heal.

He noticed that she was unable to find all that she needed in the stock, but was able to snatch from from another healer so that she could treat him. Kacey was still unsure about his state and whether or not he would be able to return to his duties soon. He didn't want to seem rude or in a rush when he questioned her about his injury and if it was very serious. It felt serious. He had only be sparring with Storm when the latter took it too far. Kacey hadn't expected Storm to try to actually kill him. He was aware that the younger tom was... unstable. He was blood-thirsty and quick to make a simple fight something much more serious. It Storm had gone all out, Kacey was sure he would've been killed. He wasn't a great fighter but the other was quite skilled when it came to things like that. He hadn't hesitated or waited for Kacey to catch himself before attacking again. There was no time to catch his breath and that's how he got so injured.

The tabby wasn't planning on sparring with him anymore.

Kacey's ears perked a bit more when she began talking to him more, answering his worrying question. IT was a relief to hear that his injury wasn't deadly, but it was her next words that he was most interested in. After she informed him that if he were to push himself without rest than his wounds might then take a deadly turn. He flattened his ears and turned away, glaring at the ground. Now everyone's going to think of me as weak! He silently snapped. After moons of trying to prove myself... I know that the others won't let this pass. But he knew that there was nothing he could do. Though displeased with this fact, he did acknowledge that it can't be helped anymore. Kacey gave a small sigh.

But he suddenly stiffened as the Healer informed him that she now had to clean his wound. This stranger was going to have to clean him, and that made him uncomfortable. Like most Syndicate cats, he was skeptical and untrusting around cats that he didn't know - though he was friendly towards those who he did happen to trust. But the grey tom kept his mouth shut and gave a curt nod, trying not to look too uncomfortable with the thought of her cleaning him.

The tom couldn't understand why and how Perci could remain so calm, patient and positive after all he's said when he would usually have gotten into another fight by now. But the hairless tom was different. He kind of-maybe-a little bit-liked that. Liked that part of his personality, of course. He could never grow to like, get close to or attached to any other cat. Never. It was a little complicated to explain, but some may say he's a little ‘emotionally constipated’. That sounds weird, yes, but it's true. He doesn't show anything very often other than anger. He never liked getting close to other cats and it's all because of a little fear. He's really all soft and squishy inside, even if he looks like there nothing going on from the outside. But due to the losses of very close loved ones in his life, mostly because they lived in the DS, he just didn't bother to grow close to anyone to avoid the feelings that came when he loses them. Though he still doesn't like being alone, even if he doesn't have many friends. Again, it's a little hard to explain. But due to this, whenever he sees any form of affection displayed from cats in any form of relationship, he can't help but feel jealous. Though, as said before, he is ‘emotionally constipated’ and doesn't show that he envies them and longs for someone to be there for/with him too. In response to Perci’s words, he would've said something like, ‘Oh, no need to go through the trouble, it's alright!’ But he wasn't like that, he didn't think before he spoke, he was emotionally constipated, and it came out different than he wanted. “It’s fine. I’m fine. I can sleep here, and that's all that matters.” Ugh.

¨Its alright, Im sure I have spares somewhere. We dont really use them to often if they arent stolen by someone around here.¨ The tom mewed back. He was a cat that didnt judge another no matter how they acted. Sure, he had his own problems but he took another in account. He was smart enough to know when another is putting up walls, which is why he kept a gentle kind tone in his voice. He tried to be kind to every cat he met, it was hard of course, but he managed. Now he was no guidance councilor but he knew enough after dealing with his brother what a distressed cat in need looked like. He wasnt sure if Zou were going to admit that, he didnt really care if he did or didnt as that was on his own accord and business, but he would help in subtle ways that hopefully wouldn't hurt the other cats ego when given help. ¨I like the cats who sleep in here to atleast feel a little bit comfortable.¨ those were a subtle way saying he cared about the other, even if they just had met but he cared about his physical and emotion well being. He had sort of a sense when something was wrong, a good conscious you could say, but it was a calm way of saying ¨hey i just met you but I care.¨

Zotu was kind of like Perci when it came to showing he cares, though his way was totally different at the same time. He will not say that he loves you or cares about you straight up but he’ll maybe say something like “hey stupid, it's really cold out there so get ready” or something along those lines. Or he’ll remind you of something you have to do or get done. This means he was listening when you said you had to do this or get this done when it looked like he was not listening or not paying too much attention. But he was. Another way of telling he cares would be him bringing a piece of prey back for you. He actually really likes food, so if he brings something to you and he hasn't eaten it yet that's a good way of telling you mean something to him. His body still ached, it hurt to move, and something soft to sleep on would be a little nice.. “Fine, I guess I don't see a point in arguing.” If it means you won't go through any trouble. He knew now that Perci cared, but if he could be so kind to him so quickly, he'd be able to do that with other cats. So, that means that doesn't make him any more special than the next scratched up fighter coming to be healed. Though it's not like he wanted to feel special.. The tom wasn't like any other fighter or hunter, he wouldn't bully a healer for their rank. He was all tough, sure, but he just wasn't that kind of guy. He doesn't judge based on rank, he could actually care less about that.

One thing that stuck out to Percival was that this fighter didnt taunt him for his rank. Which was a new kind of feeling to be honest. He appreciated that someone actually gave him some respect. He smiled, seeing as he won Zou over with his feather idea. He went to his own nest and bent over it, using his small paws to pick out plush feathers from it. He didnt mind using his own feathers from his nest, he didnt really care. Usually he wouldnt give another his own feathers but Zou was different it seemed, didnt make snarky remarks about his rank and didnt bully him. It was a silent way of showing a bit of appreciation. Something the cloudy-white cat noticed was that the other tom was using his feathers from his own nest, which he honestly didn’t expect. He didn’t have to, and it only made him feel worse for being won over with the whole feather thing. He was already doing enough. And when the hairless healer sneezed, he didn’t know what to do. Say a quick ‘bless you’? That wasn’t like him at all, but then again, he should thank him in some way. He was hesitating anyways. But why? Well, thanks to his running thoughts, it was too late to say it. But then he did it again, which was a new opportunity in trying to be nice in some way. “Bless you,” he mewed right after the second sneeze. He then answered his question while shaking his head, “No, I’ll do it.” When saying this, most may think he’s just trying to look tough and act like he can do things for himself even when injured. But really, he wouldn’t if he wasn’t thanking Perci for treating him. In fact, his whole body ached at the moment, and you could tell. And to Zotu, a little ‘bless you’ wasn’t enough. Nothing is ever enough for this guy. Well, as long as it’s him.

Percival sniffled and smiled,"Thank you," he still wasnt used to such politeness, especially to a healer. At first hed written Zou off as some grump fighter that had a bad temper but when he really thought about it-he wasnt that bad. Infact when you got past his grumping he was nice to be around. He spit the feathers out, huffing to get was the was lodged by his nose. he didnt mind that Zou declined his offer, most likely because he thought he could do it himself. Perci knew he was injured and should step in, but he didnt want to offend Zous pride. "If you need help, please tell me. I dont want you to strain yourself." the last he wanted was for him to move his body to much with his injuries.

Zotuosy hummed at the hairless tom's thanks. He just suddenly realized how nice he was being to him. Then again, it was a little easier to for some reason. Maybe.. Because of his rank? No, since when did ranks even matter to him? Maybe it was his personality, which was unlike any other cats' he's met in the DS. Not one that he'd want to fight, not one that he'd be annoyed by, not one that was as cold or as unfriendly. Just- different. Not even in a bad way. To Zotu, at least. He was confusing himself while thinking, so decided to focus on what was happening right now in the real world. He took the feathers that were spat out from Perci, nodding with a muffled hum at what he said. He wouldn't want to injure himself any more after already treating him anyways. And so, he began to tuck the feathers into his nest neatly, one-by-one. He was just a little shaky, so some of them weren't placed exactly where he wanted, but they were close enough. To have made it comfortable, at least.

He sat down, watching Zout try to tuck in his own feathers. Eventually he stood up, padding over next to him and tucking in the ones that were a bit misplaced. He knew he wanted to do it on his own, but he couldnt help himself. He said nothing though, simply helping tuck in the feathers. Percival could remember gathering these feathers too, he had hunted a bird for em. Usually healers werent allowed to hunt, or had very little knowledge of how to. he was proud of the hunt and still his, and it felt nice to give someone else his feathers to enjoy. Even if nobody else knew he hunted them. Once he tucked the feathers in he smiled again, patting the nest with his paw to make sure it was up to his standards. "I think thats comfy enough," he mewed," my nest is a bit bigger, if it gets uncomfy I dont mind you joining mine." this wasnt an unusual offer for Perci, he often offered most patients his nest since it was basically twice his size.

While attempting to tuck in his feathers neatly, he wondered where Perci could've gotten his feathers. He wouldn't assume he got them himself, as hunting wasn't a task for the healers and all. He was pretty sure they weren't taught that. Maybe a hunter killed a bird for him in return for healing him. Or he got it from already hunted prey and decided to pluck the feathers and use it for his nest before eating it. He suddenly realized Perci had padded up to help, which he wasn't really complaining for. He didn't even ask for it, while most cats would probably just brush it off and leave him alone to do a poor job at making his nest comfortable. "Thanks," Zotu said, almost mumbled, and nodded at what he said. Yeah, he shouldn't take it that way when the healer made the offer. It was only sleeping in the same nest as another cat. Then again, he had just met Perci and wouldn't know if it was a normal offer or not. His nest was pretty big anyways. But that was only if the nest he had now got uncomfy. He laid down slowly, it still being painful to move and all. His front paws tucked under his chest, looking like one of those loaf of bread cats. Since he had nothing to say, he decided to ask about what was on his mind earlier. "How'd you get these feathers?"

It was a sudden question but Percival wasnt opposed to it. "I hunted for the bird myself."he smiled as he answered, sitting down infront of him and him too looking like one of those loaf cats. He could recall the moment when he caught it, he felt like he was playing in the air when he jumped after it-claws extending and feeling it sink into the preys flesh. he killed it quickly. As a healer he had respect for lives and any animal around him. "Healers arent allowed to hunt but..I couldnt help myself. The healers den gets lonely that I like to feel the wind on my skin and feel like Im not a healer sometimes." it was true. At times he would wonder in Syndicate territory just to be outside for a moment, to not smell herbs and sickness. to feel like a normal cat, a cat who wasnt disrespected everyday, a cat who wasnt a healer, a cat that was free of the rank pyramid. Though he loved his rank to at times. He loved to heal and patch cats up, loving to heal with plants and have that talent to bring something back to life at the tip of his paws.

Rosaleen, was not a lover of her dark and bloodthirsty home. The savageness of it all. The merciless acts towards those who need it the most. The disrespect over the cats who were supposed to care for them, the healers, which is what Rosaleen was destined to be. A low ranked she-cat who has to endure any physical and verbal abuse her clanmates will throw at her at any time. She doesn't go out of the healer's den much, it is a daily basis where she spends days without touching the grass out of the den, she usually only goes out to fetch more herb supplies or to get food. She is wandering around, sending her most recent patient out of the den. She notices a fellow healer by themselves, organizing the supply. She hesitantly approaches the cat. "Do you need any assistance with the herbs?" she asked in a hushed tone.

Seal blinked and swallowed her nerves, she just needed to do her duties as a healer, nothing too hard for a good healer. The thing was, Seal wasn't sure if anyone liked her. Healers were one of the lowest rank, and her paranoid skittishness did her no favors in this cruel group of murderous cats. She was used to insults hurled at her face, it surprised her more if that didn't happen. Seal glanced at her little collection of herbs, her eyes fixed to the leaves and stems she'd managed to collect. Seal gazed up, hoping no one noticed her existence at the moment so she could focus. Though a tiny bit of company would be welcome.

Rosaleen nods in response to the acceptance of her invitation to assist. She looks around at their supply. A healer's knowledge of medicine and healing is basic in comparison to the more professional medicine cats. Syndicate cats are raised to loathe clan cats, but Rosaleen actually has a bit of envy and admiration towards them. How much she wanted to throw away everything and join them, but she was too afraid of the consequences that would plague her for her infidelity. "Are we all good with supply of herbs?
