What's a downer is that my kitten,Cookie, might have cancer or something from the smoke. I don't really know how to confront my mom or the guy about it. I know that the vet will probably tell us if he has been affected by the smoke or not when we get him neutered and declawed. I know I'm ranting but I'm concerned.

Not to be mean or anything, and I'm sorry if this is offensive, but declawing a cat is very, very cruel. It's actually cutting off the tips of their toes, not the claws. It will shorten the lifespan of the cat, and the claws could grow back on the inside of the cat's toes and curl up, slowly digging into the bone. I saw secret pictures of a cat after declawed, and it was just sad. It could also put the cat in permanent pain for the rest of its life. But they will be in pain for a very long time, and I hate it when cats areare declawed. I'm also sorry he might get cancer from the smoke. Hope he doesn't.
