There are cows, horses, pigs, sheep, etc. living on the farm. Apple has two adult Twolegs, and four Twoleg kits. Apple is the only cat they really own, but there are stray cats who live on the farm. The Twolegs also own about five border collies, the actual animals on the farm that are owned by the Twolegs get along fine with each other but stray dogs/cats probably won't get along as well.

Apple yawned has she stepped outside her owners house, feeling the somewhat chilling air against her face. She kneaded her paws into the soft grass, her green collar shining in the sun. The collar didn't have a bell on it, like most other house cats she had seen but it did have her name on it. For a house cat, Apple was really fit. She hunted her own food and had lots of space to travel, she hated that pebble shaped, dry cat food that her owners feed her during the Winter but she had to eat something when prey was scarce. It was early in the morning, the sun was just coming out and Apple hoped it would warm up soon enough. Her owners were already out and working with the other animals. She felt a large gust of wind blow past her as one of the owners many dogs rushed past her, she jumped into the air and her fur bristled wildly. Her ears folded back, 'Stupid dogs.' she thought with a small smile on her face. She began to trot away from the fields and towards to large country side, although her owners owned a lot of land they didn't use all of it. There were random trails that they would hike and during the Autumn they would invite other Up-Walkers here. She lifted her small muzzle into the air as she began to walk farther away from her home.

Abby stared at apple.
"Hey apple" Abby said staring at her friend as she put her rabbit down.
(Wait is this is the other thread with apple?)

Secret was pretty far from his home, the furthest he'd ever gone, in fact. The muscular black and white tom paused, struggling to catch his breath. Ever since he'd been taken from his old home, he'd never been able to run or go far without losing his breath, and that was due to the amount of effort the three legged tom had to put into walking. He looked out across the soft green fields, and was reminded of WindClan, although he'd never set foot in WindClan's territory, Secret had always loved to stare out across the rolling expanse of hills. A faint smile spread across the kittypet's maw, and he closed his eyes, only to open them wide as a chorus if barking broke through the air. Fox dung! Secret thought, fear in his eyes. He hated dogs, no, he loathed them. The splotchy kittypet stood up awkwardly, testing the muscles in his remaining hind leg. It was tired and stiff, but not too bad. He grimaced and ran forwards at a lurching and slow trot, but it was faster than walking. Slowly the sound of dogs faded, but he became aware of something new; a cat, not too far away from where he was, still breathing hard.

The ginger feline had been curiously sniffed a bush, her ears perked as another scent hit her nose. As she stepped out of the bush, the smell became clearer, 'Another cat, a tom.' She thought. He wasn't that far away and Apple always liked meeting new cats, she also liked to help the lost cats who needed shelter or food for a little while. Her eyes landed on a large black and white tom, he was missing a leg. Apple wasn't really shocked by this, she had meet many different cats and other animals with different injuries. The tom looked out of breath, and tired but he didn't smell like he was sick or in danger. "Hello there! Do you need any help?" She called out to the tom. Her ginger coat shined in the sun as she approached the tom carefully, she knew some cats didn't like strangers that well. Her green hues glowed with kindness and warmth as she stopped a tail length away to wait for his answer.

Secret watched the ginger pelted molly uncertainly, wondering how hostile she would be. He'd met several hostile cats, and mostly they were from his past, which was full of hostility, probably where he'd gotten it from, although it could've been from one of his parents. His patchy Blackman's white fur bristled with unease, and a guardedness masked his face, making his expression completely unreadable, which he preferred, as Secret was far from being an open book, and he came off as hostile and secretive to most. The tom shifted, waiting for her to reach him, his green eyes flashing with an urge to just turn and walk away, but he refrained, knowing that if she wanted to, she could easily catch him, so it was no use wasting energy. But he was relieved when she seemed kind, and not territorial or anything, although he still didn't show it. “No. Why would I?” Secret replied, hacing cuaght his breath now. He sized her up, flicking his tail as he saw no sign of her lying, or anything else that was immediately alarming.

"You just seemed to be struggling there for a second, if you need water or anything I know the best places to drink and hunt." She mewed. Obviously the tom was going to be closed off to her, she was just some strange cat he had just met. When she first saw him, he seemed out of breath but now he seems to have caught it so she wondered if he still needed anything. She hoped to make a friend anyway, it got pretty lonely at times.

Hunt? Oh . . . . I miss hunting . . . . He thought, remembering his very first catch; a little mouse, although rather plump. It'd been a lucky catch, and Secret had very nearly missed, but he was so proud when he hadn't. That had been what? Twelve moons ago now? It'd been awhile, longer than he'd realized, and it pained him to think that it'd been nearly six moons since he'd last caught anything apart from a moth, which had felt like kit-play to him and he'd stopped. Secret shifted, then lowered her head, his collar itching at his neck uncomfortably, but he ignored it. “That's a kind offer . . . .” Secret replied, his tone pleasant but curt at the same time, his face still an unreadable mask. “Who are you?”

Apple smiled a bit, she was glad the tom was being pleasant. He was still closed off but at least he wasn't aggressive like.other cats she had met. "Oh, I am Apple! What's your name?" She asked, the ginger catstikited slightly as she asked her question. "Also, would you like me to show you a good place to rest, that's near water?" She added.

Secret raised his forepaw, stretching out the leg, which was getting stiff from supporting the extra weight that his missing back leg used to take. It didn't much matter anymore, since he'd become a kittypet and didn't need to run or hunt as much as he once had. “It's Secret.” the patched black and white tom meowed quietly, flicking his ears. He looked around, then after a moment of thinking it over, Secret stood up and nodded.

Apple smiled a bit, she was going to be able to help someone! "Alright, it's not far from here!" She purred and began to lead the way. She was heading West, towards a pond with some shady trees around it. The pond was only a few rabbit hops away, but she kept a slow pace because she didn't know how fast the tom could go. "It's just over this hill!" She said as the two cats came upon an average hill. The ginger molly climbed up the hill quickly, this was one of her favorite spots. As she waited for the tom to join her, she sat on the hill and admired the pond below. Farther down the hill the grass turned into rocks, Apple preferred to avoid the rocks since they were wet and slimy from the moss. The sun reflected against the greenish-blue pond but every few moments you could see fish swimming in the water. Ducks swam in the pond as well, it was rare that other animals visited here. Her green hues sparked with joy as she continued to stare at the pond.

Secret nodded cautiously, his green hues slightly narrowed, which was usual for him. For a moment, he wondered if Apple had been born in the place, or if she knew of the Clans, but he wasn't sure he wanted to ask. There was no way back home, and even if he made it back, he would be useless, and never be a warrior again. He would be forced to retire to the elders' den, even though he hadn't even seen three leaf-bares yet. But he greatly missed his old life, even his old name. Secret nodded and limped up the hill, panting slightly with the combined effort of the uphill slope, and having to move at the limping gait that was his way of walking. But he did his best to keep up, and managed to stay about a fox length behind the molly. After a moment, Secret joined her at the crest of the hill and stared for a moment at the glittering surface that reflected the blue sky above. He looked over at her. “That's beautiful.” Secret murmured, not really talking to anyone in particular.

Apple let out a light purr, "Yes it is." She said in a dreamy tone. "Are you ready to head down the hill?" The tom was panting slightly from the climb, Apple had grown so used to it that she never bothered to see if he could make it up the hill. She felt a pang of guilt, she should've made sure he was okay with the climb. He didn't seem too mad at her and he hadn't sad anything, so she tried to push the feeling off but that just made it worse.

Secret nodded curtly, flicking his ears as it he had an annoying fly buzzing around them, which he luckily did not. Catching his breath, sides no longer heaving, he felt more certain that she wasn't a bad cat, though he'd suspected not anyway. It did annoy him that she thought he needed help, which he didn't like, though he secretly knew that it was true. Without waiting, he started going down the hill, which should've been easier, but it was hard to control his speed and not face plant on the ground. Gritting his teeth, the three legged black and white tom took the last couple steps and reached the edge of the pond, staring down at his reflection. All his saw was who he used to be, and he lashed his tal and looked away.

Apple scrambled after the tom, she hoped she hadn't upset him. 'Maybe hes just in a hurry.' She thought. Once she made it down the hill she noticed the tom looking away from the water. 'Is there something wrong with it?' She wondered, she trotted up to the water and sniffed it. 'No it seems okay' She simply shrugged it off and looked towards Secret. "That Oak tree over there makes a good spot to rest in." She nodded towards a large Oak tree only a few rabbits lengths away, there weren't many trees around the pond but her Twolegs purposely planted that one there.

Secret stood stock still at the edge of the pond, his paws sinking slowly into the thick mud that bubbled up around them from the pressure, though beside really care. He could always clean out his pelt later, no problem at all, and he was actually quite enjoyed the feeling, seeing as it reminded him of the territory back home. “I see, but I'm fine,” Secret muttered, lowering hishaed and lapping at the clear water, enjoying ever drop of the cool liquid that rolled down his throat. After a nice refreshing drink, Secret sat down somewhat awkwardly and stared out across the waters. “Thanks,” he murmured to Apple, realizing just how much this place made himk feel at home, something he hadn't felt in a couple seasons now, and missed more than words could describe, but, he'd given up hope on ever returning home, and not a kittypet home, his wild home, with his family. He sighed, closing his bright green eyes and just enjoying the scents.

Apple's brown hues watched the tom for a few moments, he wasn't a very talkative cat but she was glad she could help him. Her blueberry scent drifted into the air as she drank from the pond herself. She swiped her tongue across her muzzle, picking up the last droplets of water before finding a not-so-muddy spot and sitting down. She glanced at he resting tom, well he hadn't told her to leave so she would stay here for a while. She licked her paws slowly before drawing her paw over her ears, she began to groom herself but kept her ears tilted towards the tom, waiting to see if he would speak.
