Feature: Allegiances

Hey everyone!

Over the past couple years or so, one of the most highly desired features has been a formal listing of the site's characters. When WCO had under active fifty members, this had been a feasible addition but with over 150, not so much. It became overwhelming for the staff responsible for its upkeep - having an Allegiance page hadn't been worth the time and effort it took to maintain it. So ultimately, it was removed.

But with the help of a brand new system, we have the pleasure of reintroducing Allegiances to WCO!

You may have noticed there is a new category (http://warriorcatsonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=62) to accompany this change, complete with links to accepted characters and information on how to submit your characters (http://warriorcatsonline.com/forums/announcement.php?f=62). The subforums contain approved character applications.

Registering your characters is not necessary in order to continue roleplaying them, but we strongly recommend adding them.

We aren't requiring you to register them.

Yes, when they die they are removed - you should submit a change request when the character dies.

I was wondering why Starclan/Darkforest cats werent included

we considered adding it, but if you compare the activity of starclan and the place of no stars with the rest of the clans (http://i.imgur.com/INVvWPD.png) and outsiders (http://i.imgur.com/FPFlFPw.png), it didn't make a whole lot of sense to have an area dedicated to primarily unused or inactive characters.

additionally, our allegiances is based more off the books -- where they have a list of living factions (the clans and occasionally outsiders) and leave out the dead.
