Testing is quite simple. All a cat must do is prove themselves somehow to the commander. They can do this by completing a task given to them, or on their own merit. If an existing member of the Dusk Syndicate recommends a cat they have found, the test can be exempted for that cat. But, the cat who vouched for them is risking their reputation if their candidate does not do well in the Dusk Syndicate.

Examples of possible tests:

[CURRENTLY CLOSED]Steal a piece of prey from a Clan of their choice and bring it back to the syndicate.
Spar with another high-ranked cat in the syndicate until one of them is knocked out. Winning is not necessary, but quality performance is.
Kill another cat, such as a loner, rogue, or kittypet.
A cat must be led to the deepest part of the tunnels and find his or her way out alone.

These are just suggestions, but you can use your own imagination if you want, please check with the Commander first, though, to see if the test is viable.

If a cat is born into the Dusk Syndicate, they will not need to take the test, but it is traditional for the parents of the kit to have them tested at the age of about nine to ten moons.

The Commander and Co-Commander ultimately have the final say as to whether a cat is allowed to live in the Dusk Syndicate.

* If you would like to roleplay giving your cat their task for the test, please private message the Commander to set up a meeting time.
