Peep is a young kittypet, scarcely eight moons old, living with an abusive male twoleg who is often loud, angry and aggressive, kicking and hitting the little yellow tabby and any visitors. The young, gaunt cat is often unfed and frightened of their own shadow. Loud noises and sudden movements send them running, and though they fear their twoleg, they fear leaving even more. They sport nothing but a piece of raggedy, uncomfortable yarn with metal disks that jangle loudly strung around their neck instead of a proper collar. Their home is a small, poorly kept house, dirty and with a long deceased and overgrown lawn in which there is nothing but garden snakes and the occasional adder.
