Onyx padded along the Outskirts, hoping to find other prey besides the rats and birds that he was stuck with. He sniffed, his nose pinpointing many cats around him and lots of prey. He scented a nearby tom, but took no note of it, and went for a close-by rabbit. He lowered himself to the ground, and breathed in, letting his mind sift through it. He was downwind of the prey, thank god, and he easily crept along, and then jumped, catching hold to the kicking, flailing rabbit. He turned it over to it's back and clawed the stomach before biting the neck. He waited a minute as the body fell limp and then rose his head proudly.

"Wonderful meal you'd make." he said to the carcass and then took a bite of the flesh. He wasn't taking it back to the Syndicate, he didn't want to waste it. He bit into the warm flesh, feeling the flavor fill his mouth and he smiled at the taste. He swallowed the meal and then he looked up and around at his surroundings. "Now..." he took in a breath to try and pinpoint the near-by tom he had sensed. A fight wouldn't hurt would it? He then slunk down again and stalked closer, making sure to silently rub against trees and dirt to mask his scent the best he could, and then he began to stalk closer, and he peeked through a few bushes at a black tom, and he went to make a move but heard a snap that made his hackles rise. He looked down and lifted his paw, revealing a broken twig. Damn. he thought and looked back at the tom.

Did he hear?

Green eyes scanned the clearing, a soft hum escaping his maw. The black tom carelessly made his way around. Knowing he lacked navigation, but who needed navigation when the world wanted to remain a mystery? Romeo padded where his heart landed him. Yes, his heart. The one thing he used to speak his words that acted both as his mind and his conscious. The one beating thing that he knew all too well. That was fragile and charming all the same. That could be broken with a single glance, a single word.

Romeo figured he had been everywhere--nonsense! The world was a large landscape, and adventures never ended. Right of now, he allowed himself to sit. He allowed himself to take notice of his surroundings. Even the seemingly dark, misty area he was in now, made him see the beauty that every place had. If only his friends had travelled along with them, so that they could admire the innocence in the world. Albeit, Tybalt might had argued in contrast. Romeo let out a deep chuckle, but then quickly stopped. The tom looked around, swiveling his ears.

What could had made such a crack?

Romeo swiftly got up to his paws, looking around at the area. Was there another cat? Another being, perhaps? The black tom could feel his fur bristling, not at all in a anger manner, but more in a frightened one. Not that he was that scared, but scared enough to remember what his former kittypet friends had told him about the rogue cats. Cats who did horrible things. Terrible things. Killed each other over a scrap of meat. Cats who enjoyed the spilling of tasty iron. Depends on how you define your definition of iron.

Bloodthirsty is what he called it. Bloodthirsty is what he wanted to stay away from. "Come out! Be peace with me for I come with lack of harm." His voice was smooth; gentle. Whatever lacked in the shadows, Romeo had to prepare himself for an oncoming attack, so he allowed a part of his guard to remain alarmed.

{yeshhhhh I could have done better though x.x }

{ dun be a show off with yer mile long replies noire xD }

At the call of his voice, he then chuckled. "Everyone holds harm, some more than others." he called before stepping out, and he revealed himself, no threat in his stance. "Hello, there friend." he meowed, his icy orbs glinting in the soft light shining through the trees. The examined the tom, breathing in as well. He sensed fear, not much but enough, emitting from him. So, he sat down and put on a soft smile, his icy orbs stoic.

However he had thoughts. Many of them.

What is a good way to torture him? He seems well fed, unaware of some things, perhaps he's a former kittypet? Or a well-informed one. This far out? Nah, not possible. Kittypets do not dare too, well, at least not that often. So who was this tom? Perhaps he could try and test the waters and maybe flirt or ask questions. That didn't seem like a bad plan seeing as to how he was always doing that. It was what he did, since he joined the Syndicate. He let his claws dig the ground, knowing the grains to sharpen his claws like pins and sawdust. "So, what is a place like you doing in a tom like this?" he said, looking about the area with a quick flick of his head, humour in his eyes. Weird humour he had, huh?

His orbs focused on his movement, his placement, his gaze, and his build. Nose worked to sense emotion, mental stability, and to keep tabs on his scent. Ears twitched as he honed in on heartbeat and breath. He was a master tracker for sure. He could sense anyone with in a mile of this place with his nose. The only thing that lacked was his eyesight. His sister was the one who had good eyesight. He on the other hand? Nope.

{you got me dying over here!!!!! My posts are very humble whatever do you mean cx }

Romeo felt himself shivered, his fur staying rigid. Once an older black tom slipped from the bushes, Romeo found the fascination in his icy blue stare. What intentions did this other tom have? Romeo didn't want to be mauled to death, or meet any type of deadly fate when it came to him meeting other cats. Just as he have greeted other cats among his reckless journeys, Romeo tried to keep a calm expression on his maw, as he breathed in gently.

Friend? That wasn't such a treacherous word, and the naive tom soaked into it. A friend was a friend, and all friends were great and helpful. The black tom felt his tail thump slightly out of an excited phase. "Hi," he simply mewed, a soft smile of his own gracing his face. So far, so good. The other tom was not biting his head off, so that was good, and surely made Romeo tension slowly fade.

But what did this other tom want? Perhaps Romeo could ask him for a sense of direction since he were lost. Maybe this other tom knew the place like the back of his paws, and could show him how to get back home. All Romeo wanted was a small sense of fresh air, and to admire the beauty of the singing birds, fluttering butterflies, and the soft green grass rippling under his paw pads.

Just ask Romeo was about to voice his thoughts aloud, he made a slight jump at the tom's other words, and stepped back up to his paws, his whiskers quivering from anticipation. What did Romeo find himself so anxious about? He didn't know, but he sensed a thrill. "All but the world be the same place? I have venture so far, admiring these lovely lands. No doubt my eyes wandered too much, and I landed myself here." He answered, clearing his throat.

Romeo analyzed the black oriental. Seeing the battle nasty battle scars he tom carried. Romeo could vision the stories of the rogue cats being truth of what his old friends had told them. He was seeing the real work of art in front of him with all his glory. Scars lined his body--and what a terrible and scary sight!

Then again, it was nothing wrong with being lost. The tom didn't like to think that he were lost. He did like to believe that he was simply finding other landmarks, and getting to know this exquisite place.

"The name's Romeo," he purred, "It's a charm to meet you, friend." Was he a friend? He had called him a friend first, so why not return the gesture? Romeo was quite a cat that didn't understand much, having his head in the clouds often. If he wasn't lost in the clouds, he was too busy with his poetic sayings, and bringing a light to someone's life. A charmer, he was called. And a dreamer, most would think of him.

Romeo gave the tom a bright sweet smile, not taking a notice of any bad things the tom was known for in the past. "I hope I'm not trespassing on your journey?" Romeo did not know where the other black tom came from. Thinking he was another rogue as himself, but he could be wrong. In the large forest that they were in, Romeo figured anything could happen.

"The name is Onyx." he replied in turn, his voice holding his deep gruffness that came from his chest. "The pleasure is all mine." he chuckled slightly. Sure, now that he was acquainted with the unknowing tom, perhaps here he could use his fables to gain yet another loyal subject. But he decided to use them when they were needed, for now he should try and get to know the tom before he tried and lie to him. Putting on a smile he rose to his paws and padded slightly closer at a slow pace, so he could see the features of the tom before him. Ebony, green eyes, short, soft fur. He was handsome, for sure. Many found Onyx to be the same (especially Lilith, though she wouldn't admit it). He then gave a slight smirk and sat down. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad. After all, he came to find someone to kill, instead he found someone to trick, to play with, to toil with until he was at his breaking point.

"So, what are you doing out here alone?" he asked. "You don't seem much like a loner, in fact..." his icy orbs flashed as he spoke his next words. "You look like clanner." he said. Yes, it was true, he was a clan-blooded cat, prayed to StarClan occasionally, and yes, he believed in the Dark Forest. He had seen both. His father was a ShadowClan rogue, and his mother was a ThunderClan warrior, and when she gave birth, after she weened them, she left them alone to fend for themselves. And they survived just fine. They lived under the care of the four clans, they made gatherings in their home that sat at the very center of the four borders. Oh how much fun indeed they had.

But all good things come to an end, like when Onyx found the syndicate, when they fought Peach, and when Onyx, the only on able, pinned her down. That was the start of his adventure, the look she held in her eyes as she smiled at him and said they could enter, that was the beginning. And when she disappeared, and Renn stepped up, he made a close friend. He thought of Renn as a brother, and indeed they acted as such. And then Renn appointed them the highest rank below co-commander, the ones entrusted to keep the commander and co-commander alive, they were given rank as guard. And he cherished the respect well.

He focused his thoughts back on the tom, ears perked forward for better hearing to hear his response, his eyes locked on with his, the smile never fading from his maw.

Romeo's bright smile never falters from his face as the tom advanced on him. All he could see was a new potential friend, and inwardly the tom tried his hardest to not like a weakling. Compared to Onyx, Romeo handsome looks was not ruined with scars and cuts that made him appear menacing, brave. And Romeo did not know if he did want to appear that way. Would he want to trade in his daring looks for a scar or two in order to appear so...harmful? Oh no, oh no. Romeo was a gentle soul. It would be no use to be that way.

Then again, Onyx looked quite handsome with his own. Ebony pelt, icy blue eyes--he was a sight to behold, and the tom felt himself looking up to a new figure. He shifted slightly from his gaze, and Romeo looked away for a second, his green eyes scanning the area, before he turned them back onto Onyx, just in time to hear his next words. "Clanner?" Romeo perked his ears at the words, and he tilted his head in confusion. For the tom did not take note of what the clans were. He recently detached himself from his kittypet home, and therefore roots. It had only been a while since he started living a new life, embracing the females from the other places--though clans he did not know them as. "If I look like one--is that a good thing?" He asked.

Then, he sat up more proudly, giving his chest fur a couple licks. "I come from the twolegplace. I've escaped from the cutter of those bad housefolk, I tell you! I've just been wandering aimlessly around." He shrugged. It wasn't a big deal where he came from. In little time, he had met many cats. Some he liked more than others, and this tom carried a mysterious aura around him that brought Romeo in. Perhaps it was his appearance. Romeo was blown away by it. Truth be told, he never encountered such a cat with noticeable markings. If he could, Romeo would had reached out to touch the scars with his muzzle, but that would had been weird so the tom looked away, avoiding to look at it.

However, he was quite curious of the intentions of the other tom. He didn't look mean. Romeo could see a potential friend. And, if he were a loner too, wouldn't it just be grand to have another on the team? Romeo enjoyed making new friends. His heart held a lot of sweet and gentle meanings, and it made him quite naive since he spoke of nothing but the good of love! And Onyx looked like he could use the charm. So far, Romeo paid little attention to this, and he kept on smiling, flicking his tail. "But what about you? Do you live in this," he sniffed, trying to inhale Onyx scent. Not that he would know the exact difference when it came to the clans. "Clanners that you mentioned?"

Romeo had a feeling that he should had walked back, but which way had he even come from? What if the others worried about him? Romeo tried not to stray away from his good friends too long, but he got tired, and he needed fresh air. A walk wasn't so bad until you noticed that you walked into a place that was completely unfamiliar to you. How Romeo was happy that he seen another cat! One that probably knew of the right direction. And even if that was his first intention, Romeo decided he would stick around a little longer. How bad would that be?
