Spook lay on the fence, her tail swaying off the edge. Her ears were folded, making them small as her wide eyes scanned the woods beyond the yard. The garden itself smelled of flowers and herbs, of which her two-legs planted for some reason Spook didn't understand. She leapt into her yard off of the fence, shaking out her thick fur and sniffing one of the herbs. It smelt bitter, and it caused her to sneeze. Spook's paw was about the size of the flower next to it, which smelt sweet and soft, she enjoyed it much more than the herb. The black kittypet twitched her tail. She entered the two-leg den, the day was growing hot outside and making the fluffy cat feel uncomfortable.

Cool air was the first thing Spook felt, and she purred and leapt into the windowsill and gazed at her two-leg kits plucking herbs with the bigger two-legs. She tilted her head, it was odd to the cat and she found it pointless to take them from the ground. She saw the two-leg kits trample the flower she'd liked, a frown on her maw at the now wilted and dirtied petals of the plant. The two-legs went into their monster, it's rumble startled Spook as she jumped at the sudden sound of its threatening growl. Spook walked outside, the dirt was now bare and showing where herbs used to be. She placed a paw on the stepped-on flower, it's sweet scent still prominent in her nose. Spook bit the stem of the flower, shaking the dirt from the pale pink petals and placing it in her sleeping area on the soft cushioning.

Spook sniffed the flower, nipping at the leaves as the sweet taste filled her mouth and coated her tongue. She shrugged, leaping onto a soft thing as the sound-box was on. The movement entranced the cat as she watched the two-legs on the screen. She tilted her head at their yowls and mewls, and their fur-less muzzles looked odd and tiny. Suddenly, the two-legs monster was back, and the male kit rushed inside and grabbed something. Spook mewed, and he pet her head and rushed out after saying something to her. She didn't know what he said, but all she did was run outside and watch the monster take off, it's eyes aglow and menacing. Spook shuddered, looking at the garden. "Well, maybe I can tell what these are.." she murmured, padding over.
