The Eye Of The Storm
After the encounter with the clans leaving her heartbroken, the small she-cat had resorted to lounging in her yard. She had nothing else to do these days now that Duchess was leaving. It was saddening honestly. Her only friend for such a long time was getting ready to leave. Her normally bright green hues were dull. The British Short Hair let out a long sigh. She was laying in a little box on her fence where two lines of fencing met to a corner. Her owner had installed it the other day and she was taking advantage of it. It left room for her to sprawl out on her side and stare upwards towards the sky. It was a gloomy day, she could smell rain in the air, it would certainly rain soon and she didn't care. Maybe the world is feeling just a low as I am... or maybe it's all in my head, Petal thought to herself, rolling herself onto her stomach so she could look into the forest that bordered the area behind her yard. She had learned so much, come so far and yet... here she was, heartbroken and soon to be alone.
