Amythest sat quietly on the Beach near the temple, eating one of the hotdogs she "May have stolen" from Steven. Pearl had recently told her that she needed to 'up' her training habits, but she hadn't really felt like listening to Pearl's blabbering.
Her purple eyes looked towards the clear blue sky. For a moment, she questioned if she'd ever be a true warrior. Only time would tell.

She let out a sigh, and closed her eyes once more.[/FONT]

Looks: He's slim and tall, which fits his primary purpose as a gem. He has a very light shade of yellow for his hair color (like a brighter, more yellow version of the color of Pearl's). He has short hair and wears dark orange clothing. The "clothing" has a few black diamond patterns on it.
Personality: He's very loyal to Yellow Diamond, although that doesn't mean he's a terrible person. He's outgoing and polite, although around the Crystal Gems, he follows protocol and acts aggressively.
Homeworld or Earth: Homeworld, I guess. But he's on a mission to take back Earth, so technically he's on Earth. Yep.
Weapon: A skinny, clear, yellow-tinted diamond spear with an extremely sharp edge. It's fairly plain other than that.

Citrine stepped out of his room quietly, looking around for the others. He headed outside, his footsteps barely making any noise. The gem spotted Amethyst and called out to her, wishing to strike up a conversation, "Amethyst! What are you doing out here?" He began to wonder if she actually listened to Pearl's suggestions- which were virtually commands. He instinctively grabbed for the spear hanging sideways on his back, although he didn't grab it.

"Oh-Hi!"Amethyst replied. She looked over at Citrine. "I'm just chillin'"
Amethyst stood, stretching. She swallowed the rest of her hotdog whole. "Don't tell Pearl i'm out here," Amethyst whispered, "she'll make me train.."

(Ah geez, I just realized Citrine was on homeworld's side <.<. Now I have to make something up. Pretend I didn't say he had a room o3o)
Citrine nodded. He didn't usually talk with the enemy, but everyone was away and he already was friends with just Amethyst. "And... Don't tell anyone I'm here," he replied, looking back into the temple. "Is this what you guys usually do on your spare time?"

"Your secret is safe with me." Amethyst said. She knew well if anyone were to find Citrine, they'd fight him, and possibly get him injured. She surely wouldn't like that happening.
"We just kind of do these human activities." Amethyst said. "I enjoy eating!"
She pointed at the crumbs left on her black shirt. "This hotdog was Steven's- the gem hybrid's- I ate it while he didn't know.

"Thanks, Amethyst," Citrine said, looking over to the crumbs. "Aren't human activities a little strange?" He enjoyed talking with her, although the truth was that Homeworld already knew where he was. It was all part of a careful plan to infiltrate the Crystal Gems. They knew Amethyst would be the easiest target. Citrine felt guilt wash over him like a wave. Amethyst was too good of a gem to deserve what he was doing.

"Hehe," Amethyst chuckled, "they are a little strange at first, but you get used to them. And, they're fun actually!"

Suddenly, an idea popped into Amethyst's head.

"Ohh! What if I take you to Funland?" Amethyst suggested. Soon, she realized Citrine probably didn't know what Funland is.
"Oh- uh- Funland is a recreational place that humans attend! Uh- There are many machines in Funland that take you on fast rides. It's really exciting!" Amethyst squealed.

"That sounds..." Citrine began, thinking. redundant. "super cool!" He looked around. "Where is it?" The gem began imagining what "Funland" looked like. Machines? Rides? Do they have weapons or training features?

"Follow me!" Amethyst exclaimed. She ran off, hoping Citrine could be able to catch up.

Soon, Amethyst had left the temple, and was deep into Beach City.

"Here. Funland." Amethyst said, pointing at the large sign. She also pointed to the Teacups and multiple rides that surrounded.

"Those are the rides I was talking about!" Amethyst exclaimed happily.

[Soddenfur]

Citrine followed, studying his surroundings. Homeworld wants this planet? Yellow Diamond better know what she's doing... "Funland... I see," he murmured. "What do we do on those spinning half-spheres?"

"Oohh- You mean the Teacups!" Amethyst exclaimed. "Well, you'll see!"
Amethyst grabbed Citrine's hand, and escorted him to the Teacup ride.

Amythest sat down on one of the Teacups.
"Come on," Amethyst said, pointing to the seat next to her. "Get in!" [

Citrine nodded and sat on the seat, bewildered. "What now?" he asked, looking around. "Are we supposed to discuss things here?" The gem placed his spear to the side of him and he got comfortable. He looked over to the operator, who was giving instructions he couldn't comprehend.

"Ehh.." Amethyst started, not exactly sure how to put the ride into words. "Well, these seats will start spinning. They'll begin to go faster, and faster. The point of this machine is to get you all dizzy. It brings you amusement!" Amethyst said, straining her brain to get to that description.

The Teacups began to move.

"Here we go!" Amethyst said as her hair started flowing due to the movement.

[Soddenfur]

"Then what's this little handle for right here? Does it make us go faster?" Citrine asked, starting to grasp the idea. Amethyst, this better be fun. The operator flipped the lever and everything started spinning. Citrine jumped. He grabbed onto the object in the center, looking at Amethyst for answers.

[Braveheartedwarrior]

"Hey, hey, Calm down!" Amethyst said, reassuring Citrine. "It's not even going that fast yet!"

Amethyst looked at the lever. "Yeah, that switch makes you go faster- but you seem kinda spooked.." She giggled.

[Soddenfur]

"Well... No I'm not," Citrine countered. He pulled the lever, but he used too much force. It pulled all the way down, but he broke the handle. The teacups began gradually speeding up. Citrine looked over to Amethyst, a smug expression plastered on his face. "See?"

[Braveheartedwarrior]

"Ahh!" Amethyst yelled in panic. "You broke the lever- but you sure do look confident 'bout this!" Amethyst said, smiling. A competitive smirk on her face. "Let's see how far we can take this."

Amethyst's gem glowed, and she summoned her trusty whip. She looked over to the main control panels, and shot her whip towards it, breaking the main control panel. The machine encountered a malfunction, and the Teacups began to spin unnaturally wildly.

Amethyst looked at Citrine, smirking at him. The ride had become extremely fast. She held onto her seat, making sure she wouldn't fall off.

Mr. Smiley is gonna kill me.., Amethyst thought.

[Soddenfur]

I think I get it... Fun! Citrine returned her challenging gaze and gripped his spear from the gem on his left shoulder. The teacups were overwhelmingly fast, so he fought to gain balance as he stood. The gem stuck the spear in the broken lever and twisted and pulled, excited to see the results. Any more and we'll fly off into space...

Amethyst laughed joyfully, enjoying the speed of the ride. She opened her dark lavender eyes, observing the the other people on the teacups. Most were screaming, terrified at the extreme speed.

"Oh- right..." Amethyst said, realizing she has made a great mistake.
"Citrine!" Amethyst said, addressing him seriously. "These humans are also riding on this machine! With all this speed, they ain't going to end up safely! We need to get them off!" She pleaded.

Amethyst knew Citrine was a homeworld gem.. But she knew he could do good.

Amethyst looked at the situation carefully. About twenty people.. Fast Teacups.. She knew her own whips couldn't slow the machine much.. If she were Sugilite, she'd be able to break the machine, and catch the people on the ride.

"Agh," Amethyst yelled in frustration, "How will a mistake like me stop a ride like this!!"

They knew something was wrong as soon as they set foot on that boardwalk. Of course there was. It wasn't as bad as dealing with whatever Homeworld could dish out, but babysitting the local fauna surely was a bit.. menial. Or at least, that was what they thought. The quartz general, Rose Quartz had managed to unite millions of gems, regardless of their cut or the cluster they were born of for one purpose: to protect life on this huge, crumbling rock. Poudretteite didn't completely understand. They tried to, but the constant propaganda blared at them from the day that they exited a kindergarten placed a bit of a restraint on whatever ideological freedom they had- it was difficult to completely wrap their head around, but they knew enough, and what little they did know seemed to be enough. Rose Quartz and the Crystal Gems (an affiliation that they were still struggling to identify with) actually cared for those they had been taught were underneath them, and they respected that. They looked up to that, and now... At least now they'd actually make more of a difference in such a small unit- they'd make it count.
So when they stumbled upon Amethyst and some unknown on Diamond knows what..! To say the least, the stout gem was surprised. The human definition of 'fun' was something that also baffled them.
Getting onto a large instrument that resembled a teacup that could also shatter you was not something on Poudretteite's to-do list, you see.
That was beyond the point.
Rushing towards the ride, they called for their comrade's attention the only way they knew how- a yell would do the trick.

Perso- Howlite is the silent type. He actually hardly ever speaks this is because he doesn't like to waste his words, and will speak only when he thinks he should. He isn't afraid to back down from a fight and can actually hold his own in one quite well. Of course, he would much rather take a relaxing approached to things, and tends to hate stress. He can be viewed as a slacker, but when he is truly counted on he does get the job done. Howlite is one who usually thinks before acting but can also have a tendency to get dragged into something with thinking as well. He tried not to let things bother him and likes to forgive and forget most of the time - he believes that hold grudges and holding onto anger is too stressful. Though he does have a good memory and can act distrustful towards those who have done him or someone he know's wrong. He does like to help people with emotional problems; such as stress, rage and emotional pain. Howlite isn't really one to judge and tries to keep an open mind about almost everything. His search for a more relaxing part of life is what actually lead him away from the path that Homeworld had laid out for him and his fellow gems. He hated the wars they waged and disliked their life style. He sought for something much more peaceful... though someone who turned their back on Homeworld doesn't really get the peace that he was initially searching for. He is starting to search for something else though, after he turned away from Homeworld, he left with a sort of emptiness where his per purpose should be and now he looks for one.
Other- He was born in a Kindergarten | Since Howlite is a stone used to help relax and relief of stress, he can do this as well when he concentrates and can also be helpful in emotional situations

"Cirtine! You need to get down!" Amethyst whispered. Her "whisper" was more of a quiet yell considering the intensity she was in at the moment.
"Poudretteite is right there! They're a crystal gem! If they find out you're here, you're sure to be in trouble! M-more importantly, we need to get off of here, and help these guys out!" Amethyst pointed to the yelling humans on the ride.

(FUSION CONFIRMED) Citrine's eyes flew left and right as Amethyst spoke about their troubles. There's no way the two of us can stop this... I can barely stay up. We need to hurry... The homeworld gem bit his lip. He knew the fact that fusion with a different gem was viewed as disgusting and unacceptable, but there wasn't much of a choice. "I think... I think we need to fuse!" he hollered, the shouting and creaking overwhelmingly noisy. He couldn't afford Poudretteite noticing them... Would a fusion make that much commotion? The gem hadn't ever attempted such an act before.

Amethyst's dark lavender eyes widened.
"Are you.. sure..?" She asked, surprised Citrine would ever suggest fusion with another gem. Of course, Amethyst herself had no problem with fusion- But Homeworld or not, fusion was a personal thing.

But time was ticking. It wasn't like they had much of a choice.

Citrine held out his hand, preparing to do what some referred to as... dancing. He hesitated, but kept his hand straight. What do I do? At first, he began awkwardly moving around, teetering side to side, but eventually he began moving faster, pleading she would hurry. The gem refused to let them create any more collateral damage. Hurry up, Amethyst! Do what's supposed to happen!

Amethyst looked at Citrine, snickering at his awkward movements.

"You're not gonna get anywhere like that!" Amethyst said, holding onto his hand. "You've got to actually move!"

Amethyst smiled, and twirled Citrine around, playfully. Her own gem glowed, so she knew something must be working.
"You have to dance!" Amethyst added.

Momentarily, Amethyst let go of his hand. She performed some of her... rather suggestive dance moves. Although she knew it may make Citrine feel a bit awkward, she had to make it work; They didn't have much time to loose.

Citrine let out an exasperated sigh. He shook his head, then continued, at first imitating Amethyst's dancing. Gradually, he started dancing on his own and began glowing. "I think it's happening!" he shouted, biting his lip.

Sky had been walking around the town, wearing the hood of her hoodie at the moment as she wanted to be left alone. Though, when she reached the commotion of Funland she just had to stop and watch. She didn't even try to help, just leaning against a fence and watching through the shadows of her hood with an almost amused gaze. She didn't even try to help, just leaning against a fence and watching through the shadows of her hood with an almost amused gaze. "Okay, just hurry!" Citrine whispered loudly, grabbing Amethyst. It was quite ungraceful, but it seemed to work. The two melded into one form, which gave Citrine a somewhat overwhelming sensation. Oh, geez...

Amethyst felt the sensation, and she knew it had worked.

The fusion stood. Short, golden hair, flowing. The fusion looked at herself. It was a lean, somewhat skinny fusion. It had Amethyst's type of bottom- But a silvery white color. Diamond patterns covered her short, white dress.

The fusion opened its eyes - its four eyes. The two on top yellow, like Citrine's, and the two below, Dark lavender.

"Woah~" The fusion spoke, primarily Amethyst speaking. "An Amythest.. and A Citrine.. make a..."

"Zircon!" Zircon finished cheerily, regaining balance. She took the spear and whip out of her gem and mashed them together haphazardly. The weapon became a chain mace with a somewhat transparent, smoky-white handle. The single chain on it consisted of jagged amethysts stuck together holding a colorful, crystalline ball with multicolored spikes scattered across its surface. She threw the chain forward and leaped throwing multiple teacups on the surface of the boardwalk. Although they were tossed in unorganized places, they landed neatly on their base, dealing no harm to the humans inside. Not a moment later, Zircon leaped into the water, releasing her form. She couldn't afford to let the two other gems she spotted get a good look at her, although she was making a ton of noise. Citrine fell to the sandy surface, smacking into a bed of coral.

Amethyst fell onto the large body of sand.
"Great Job Citrine!" Amethyst said as she spat out sand that had gotten into her mouth upon falling. She opened her eyes, brushing sand off her face. A smile emerged on her face.
"Now get outta here," Amethyst exclaimed, "you don't want them seeing you!"

Citrine looked around. People everywhere. "Got it," he replied, sprinting back up onto the boardwalk and on the outer rim, his hand skirting the fence. Is that what fusion always feels like? It's really... weird.

Agh! Amethyst thought. She truly enjoyed the company of Citrine even if he was a homeworld gem. She couldn't take idiotic risks like this anymore.

Amethyst got up, and ran on the opposite side of the boardwalk, avoiding Mr. Smiley, the other gems, and anyone else who could possibly know her.

Amethyst shape-shifted into a small bird, and used her newly formed wings to fly off of the Boardwalk. Eventually, she reached the Temple.

Sky had just quietly watched pretty much all of what had gone down. She clacked her gem, that was on her tongue, against her teeth softly in some kind of habit, before they began to walk back to the temple quietly. The silence they gave off might have been unbearable to anyone but her, as they loved the quiet of no voices and no idiotic words to make things worse. After awhile she had reached the temple quietly, her hood covering her amused face in darkness and shadow.

Amethyst landed ungracefully on the sandy floor.
"Blegh," She muttered bitterly, standing up, and brushing the sand off of her outfit, "Need to work on the landing.."

Amethyst looked over at Sky.
"Hi!" Amethyst called, trying to act like she wasn't there at the Funland incident, "Where've you been?"

Sky gave a deep chuckle. "You know exactly where I've been." he stated through his chuckle. She clacked her gem against her tongue again in that habit as a soft sigh escaped her lips. "And, I know exactly where you've been... sorta." they stated, seeming conflicted.

Citrine dashed to the temple, keeping watch for any Crystal Gems. He stood hidden by the side, waiting for a good moment to reach the warp pad. The Homeworld gem couldn't afford to get caught. All he needed was to get back to the designated location they concealed.

"Hehe.." Amethyst laughed wryly. What had happened was too risky for any of her comfort.
"Anyway," Amethyst started, trying to change the subject, "I'm going back in. Need something to eat." She said, rubbing her stomach hungrily.

Amethyst walked up the wooden steps, and opened the door.

Sky reached out and grabbed Amethyst's arm. "Look. Look. I'm totally fine with what's going on, from what I understand, but honestly I don't want to hear Pearl yelling so can we please just fix this out." she stated, still hiding in the shades of her hoodie.

Amethyst turned around, looking at them.
"Alright." Amethyst said, letting out a sigh of relief. "I don't want Pearl screaming at us either. So you keep this a secret as well, okay?"

Citrine listened in to the conversation and attempted to sneak past the two, his footsteps making virtually no sound. He stepped on a rock, which slid backwards. Panicking, the Homeworld gem dove into cover, biting his lip anxiously.

Sky nodded. "No problem. I barley speak anyways." She said with a shrug. Though, they suddenly turned around at the rock sliding backwards. He looked around, alert and still. "Please say that's your friend and not something else...?" she sorta asked Amethyst.

Amethyst chuckled, "Heh, is that you, Citrine?" She slid down the railing of the stairs, and met up with Citrine.

Citrine's jaw dropped, feeling a sudden sense of betrayal. Who did she tell! He slid backwards and got up, staring into Amethyst's eyes. He was searching for words, as he never really anticipated she would ask what he was doing on Earth. "I came to..." he began, hesitating. Gah! You're ruining it! Yellow Diamond told you one thing... "Join the Crystal Gems!" He mentally slapped himself in the face, realizing how terrible it would turn out.

"Came to..?" Amethyst said, awaiting a response. She was surprised he'd come back to the temple, if anyone else saw him, he'd may as well just leave earth.

Sky walked down the stairs, hearing Citrine's words. "Unlikely." she stated quietly and calmly, using one-word remarks like he tended to do. They slid off their hood, blue hair floofing out into spikes once it left it's cloth cage. His grey eyes looked straight into Citrine calmly.

Citrine shot a glare back at Sky, holding their gaze for a while so he could fabricate a lie. "Homeworld's intentions are wrong, I see that now." No they're not, he countered in his mind, hating each word he said. "Is it that hard to believe, I want to help?I even fused with Amethyst! I can be a very useful asset."

Sky rolled their eyes. "Liar." they stated simply, only using one word as speaking wasn't really their thing. She crossed her arms as she gave a soft laugh. 'This homeworld gem is a total idiot if he thinks I'm going to believe his made up wants, let alone try to get him apart of the Crystal Gems.' he thought.

"Amethyst, tell him!" Citrine pleaded, frustrated by how difficult Sky was being. I refuse to let this condescending Crystal Gem get in the way of my plans! The truth was, he was completely loyal to Homeworld, although he greatly valued he and Amethyst's friendship.

"No! He actually did fuse!" Amethyst protested. "'Come on, Sky, we have to at least give him a chance!" Amethyst said, looking at Sky with a pleading glance.

She looked back at Citrine. She reached out to his hands, holding them.
"You aren't going to betray us, are you?" Amethyst questioned.

Citrine nodded vigorously. "No, never," he lied, stating it very plainly. He looked over to Sky, searching for confirmation of their belief. "What kind of gem would do such a thing?" This is going way too far... After Earth is gone, I need to think of better excuses.

Sky huffed. "I don't trust you." she stated simply to Citrine. She closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths as she clacked the gem on her tongue against her teeth, calming herself down. "Now, I'm fine your your so called... friendship... but I don't want to be affiliated with someone who will betray us." she said, shaking slightly as it obviously bothered her to be talking so much.

Sky was starting to make Citrine more irrational by the second. Each time he said it, they would refute it with such a little use of words. "I'm not going to betray you," he pressed, clenching his fists to stop himself from bursting out in anger. I bet she has Amethyst doubting me now! What kind of gem would do this!

Amethyst felt tension building between the two gems.

"Okay, okay.." Amethyst said, trying to calm everyone down. "I can see your concern, Sky.. But we can give 'em a chance! If he does, for some reason, we can take action. Ah! And you know Peridot! she switched sides! There's not reason he can't do the same!"Amethyst continued, hoping Sky would be accepting of Citrine.

Sky stepped closer to Cirtrine, their short and thin stature not making her any less threatening. "Prove it." she demanded simply and quietly to the homeworld gem. She stared at him with her grey, kinda blue, eyes. She was so quiet and her stare was so menacing it showed that she had no trust in Cirtine, at lease not enough to give him a chance to be a Crystal Gem.

"Sky.. How do you expect him to "prove" it?" She asked.

"Fine," Citrine dully replied, narrowing his eyes. The Homeworld gem looked straight into Sky's eyes a relaxed and confident sense emanating from his gaze. He summoned his weapon quickly and stood tall, then paused for a moment. He thrusted it through his torso and he poofed, leaving nothing but one yellow gem lying on the ground. The two smaller gems laid on his shoulders had melded into one, which happened when he lost his form. This better work...

She knelt down, picking up his gem.
"What the heck, Citrine?" Amethyst mumbled, bubbling his gem in a dark purple bubble. She made sure not to send it.

"WELL, THERE YOU GO, SKY," Amethyst said sarcastically, showing Sky Citrine's gemstone.

Sky stared at the gem that was now in a purple bubble. "... idiot." she muttered under her breath, blinking a few times as she tried to comprehend what just happened. She stared up at Amethyst with almost emotionless eyes. She didn't need to speak out what was on her mind, it was visible in her face. She was asking Amethyst if she was gonna send the bubble and what is she waiting for.

Why are they bubbling me? I need to reform eventually. I'm sure the other gem isn't convinced, but if it works, Amethyst will do what I need her to do... I forgot how boring it was reforming! Don't let the weird one get me, Amethyst! Citrine spent the whole time contemplating his next moves, debating whether or not to abandon the plan, although he knew it was treason. He pushed the thoughts out of his mind.

"A-Are you crazy?" Amethyst exclaimed. "He basically killed himself to show his trust! Almost at least..." Amethyst sighed. "I'm not sending him!" Amethyst said sternly. She held the bubble tight in her light lavender arms.

Without further words, Amethyst walked up to into temple, and went into her room.

In her room, junk she had horded over the years piled the skies. She laid on her stomach on the room floor, setting the bubble carefully down. She closed her eyes.

Maybe Sky was right?

Amethyst shook her head. Citrine couldn't betray them. At least not after that.

Amethyst sighed, setting her head onto the floor.

Citrine felt guilty he was causing Amethyst to experience so much doubt for himself and her friends, but he dismissed the thoughts of rebelling, he would never. Not for a worthless ball of dirt. Not for Amethyst.

Finally, Amethyst decided to let Citrine out of his bubbly prison. She disabled the bubble, and set his gem onto the room floor. Although it may take a few hours, or minutes for him to reform, she knew she couldn't let Sky handle Citrine on any circumstances. She'd just send him where they keep all the other gems..

"You'd better reform quickly, ya fool!" Amethyst joked, not sure if he could even hear herself or not.

A few hours later, Citrine's gem hovered into the air. He wasn't much for taking too much time to reform, as he didn't feel the need to change anything about himself while inside. Usually, this made him stand out less among other Homeworld ranks. That was the goal. Soon enough, he began to materialize, his form taking a rather ghostly, blinding state, until he reappeared as himself. He yawned and looked around, curious where Amethyst had taken him.

Amethyst had fallen asleep. She was there, sprawled out on the floor, sleeping. Unintelligible sleep-talking escaping her mouth. She was having a dream. Rolling over, still sleeping, she ran into a chair that she'd been hoarding.

"Ow...," She said, finally waking up. She rubbed her eyes, and stood up.

"Oh- you're back!" Amethyst exclaimed. She looked up at Citrine.

Citrine stretched, feeling a bit stiff from the time he had taken reforming. He paused for a few seconds before saying, "Yep! It was so boring in there..." After another few seconds of analyzing his surroundings, he inquired, "Where are we? It's like some kind of cave in here... Wait, are we in a cave?"

"This 'cave' you're talking about is my room. We're in the temple." Amethyst sighed. Her gem glowed, and her room door opened.
"You can go out if you want. I think i'll just stay in here.." Amythest sighed once more, laying back onto the floor. She gazed at the piles and piles of junk she's been collecting.

"It looks... nice," Citrine said, giving it a second look. "I'm going to get some food," he lied, exiting Amethyst's room. I need to get to the warp pad... I could have been there sooner if that stupid gem wasn't in the way! He sighed, then his face lit up, realizing he had an opportunity to snoop around. Sneakily, he treaded through the room and into Steven's room. He looked around carefully in his belongings, picking up a figurine and eyeing it for a while. Sneaking was his specialty, although he wasn't as good as it than other Citrine soldiers. Typically, Citrines were more short and lanky, resembling what Earthlings referred to as "females".

Suddenly, in a creepy way, Sky appeared almost right behind Citrine cause she's like that. "... Give me one reason not to shatter you." they suddenly spoke, hiding in the shadows of their hood. They looked confident, standing with crossed arms and a hidden face, but they were far from it. He clacked his gem, that was on his tongue, on his teeth softly, making a soft 'click clack click clack' noise. "Because I see none." she suddenly added.

"Well, I don't think this home will blow up on my watch." Amethyst said loudly. "I should've listened to Sky. You're nothin' but a Homeworld loving freak." Amethyst scowled. "I thought I could trust you."

Amethyst's mouth formed a frown- A quite angry frown.

Citrine's jaw dropped and he swiftly jerked his head to face Amethyst, his face suddenly portraying a thousand emotions. "W-well," he stuttered, at a loss for words. "Our friendship really means something to me! It's just... I'm a Homeworld gem before anything else. Forgive me..." He couldn't bare to look at her, his fists shaking and his eyes shut tight. Citrine began to reach for his spear, but hesitated. How is this supposed to end?

"I know. It does.." Amethyst managed. Deep inside, she knew Citrine had enjoyed their friendship. She sure enjoyed it as well. But him being a Homeworld gem, and her being Crystal... It wasn't fair, truly, but Amethyst knew she couldn't risk Homeworld knowing their location... or worse.

"I'm sorry too.." Amethyst sighed, her voice slightly cracking.
She reached for her gem, and summoned her whip.

She looked back up a Citrine, a painful look in her eyes.
Amethyst let out a sigh, and griped her whip tightly. She threw it, binding Citrine's legs together.

Citrine sighed, letting Amethyst attack him. A few silent moments later, he retaliated, summoning two spears, one for each gem on his shoulder. He stuck them into the whip, barely making his way out of the weapon's grasp. "I'm sorry," he weakly whimpered, leaping and thrusting the spears in Amethyst's direction. Citrine knew he had to get it done, although the thought of it pained him severely.

Amethyst leaned, and jumped back several times, avoiding Citrine's spears. She summoned a whip, and swung it, letting it wrap around of one of Citrine's spears, she then tugged, trying to pull him down, and get him off his balance. Afterwards, Drawing another whip, and lashing it at his stomach.

"I'm sorry if I'm hurting you." Amethyst groaned, guiltily.

Citrine collapsed to the side, flinging into Steven's television. "It's not your fault," he drawled in a low voice. The Homeworld gem regained his balance and stood tall, hesitating. He drew his spear and dashed for the Warp Pad, unable to continue brawling against his friend. I need to get out of here!

Sky stuck out her tongue, summoning her axe and chain and pulling it out of the gem there. She swung the weapon, managing to wrap Cirtine up in the chain as the sharp axe point slammed into the wall, pinning him down. "Give up already." She said as she moved over to him, hoping he wouldn't find a way out of the blue chains. "I know I have..." she added in a whisper to herself.

Citrine ceased his struggling and sat semi-up patiently, looking at Sky with an expression of disbelief in their attitude. "It's not hard to tell you're less confident than you let on," he simply stated.

Amethyst summoned two whips. She threw one at Sky, binding their hands. Amethyst then threw her other legs, re-binding Citrine's legs.

"I know we can work this out without fighting!" Amethyst shouted. "Rose never wanted to hurt any gem unless we had to!" She shouted once more, looking at Sky. She turned back to Citrine.

"...And I know our friendship meant something! I know you don't want to fight! And I know you're loyal to Yellow Diamond, but at least consider something! I know Yellow Diamond would be disappointed with you, and you'd probably be disgraced.. but 'comon! Don't you feel anything towards planet earth?" She pleaded.

Amethyst groaned in sadness, her eyes watering. She despised looking at Citrine being hurt. She didn't want to hurt him. She wanted to only be friends.

"I'm sorry.. Citrine. Our friendship was nice while it lasted..." Amethyst whispered, turning away. "But I know our friendship will still be in your heart... or if we even have hearts.. hehe." Amethyst chuckled ruefully. Her lilac hair covering her eyes. A tear drop rolling down her right cheek.

He had great faith and respect for Amethyst, but he could never reveal the entirety of his plan. It can't end like this! Not after everything that's happened! Tears streamed down his cheeks, making no sound. "Well... What now?" he asked plainly, a faint laugh escaping his lips.

She reach for her gem, but she hadn't summoned her whip.
"I'm sorry Citrine.." Amethyst muttered, her hair moving out of her face. Her dark lilac eyes finally revealing her tearful eyes.

"I know, Amethyst. I knew this day would come, but I never imagined it'd be so soon," Citrine commented, slouching. "When we take back what is rightfully ours, maybe, just maybe... we'll meet again." The gem suddenly slipped out of the whip's grasp and leaped out of the window, displaying a demented grin and determined eyes." Once he made it onto the ground safely, he changed his expression to a blank one, dry tears still stuck to his face. He leaned hidden against a wall in the shadows, his hand stuck to his face with disappointment.

Citrine returned during nighttime when the noise had died down, silently slinking through the house until he neared the Warp Pad. Looking left and right, he approached the transportation device and prepared to speak to his peers and higher-ups about the delays.

"Like, I thought you'd be gone by now." Amethyst chuckled. Everything was dark in the temple, not a single light on. Amethyst not being seen.

Out of nowhere, a huge, purple, rapidly spinning ball appeared, tackling Citrine. The ball turned out to be Amethyst, using one of her signature moves.

(Actually, we probably don't need a timeskip :P) Citrine rolled down the floor and hit a wall, escaping Amethyst. He quickly regained his balance and stood, unprepared for this scenario. "Me too, to be honest... If you'd kindly let me leave, I'll just get out of your hair," he calmly answered, hiding his emotion. The Homeworld gem trudged discreetly to the Warp Pad, unwilling to speak.

[Braveheartedwarrior]

"I don't think so..." Amethyst said, Summoning her whip. With a fling of her wrist, she used it, and grappled onto a wooden pillar. She swung from it, reaching the warp pad. She stood in front of it defensively.

"You could just leave now..." Amethyst said playfully,
"Or you could fight if you want." Amethyst finished. She flung her whip, applying the spike setting. Amethyst gave Citrine a cocky grin. "It's your choice."

[Soddenfur]

Is this some kind of game to her? "If you really want to, then by all means," Citrine challenged, Amethyst's playful spirit getting to him. I'm already late enough... He grabbed two long spears and wielded them defensively, preparing for a second fight. This time it's less serious, right?

[Braveheartedwarrior]

"Whatever you say!" Amethyst exclaimed, her single whip repeatedly lashed at Citrine.

[Soddenfur]

Citrine leaped sideways, avoiding all but one of Amethyst's attacks. He leaped back in the air, thrusting the two spears downward onto Amethyst.

Amethyst saw Citrine's spear incoming, and rolled out of the way. However, one of the spears had caught her onto her clothing, she was pinned.
Amethyst tugged hard, and was set free, but a part of her own pants ripped.

Too close for comfort..

Amethyst drew her whip. It coiled Citrine. She tugged hard, bringing him close, and then forcefully pinning him to the floor, foot holding him down.

Amethyst, being smaller than most quartz, she wouldn't be able to keep him down for long. She could feel the squirming of Cirtine.

Citrine did his best to wriggle out of the whip, refusing to let it end so fast. He, too, was one of the less tough varieties of Quartz, specializing in combat different than Amethyst's. The Homeworld gem used what little freedom he had in his arm to summon a single spear, straining his muscles to cut the weapon. He attempted to pull Amethyst down with him, backing up from the floor.

Amethyst squealed, feeling her own whip work against her. She toppled towards the ground. "You're so smart.." she said, face on the floor, muffled. Her own whip tangled, her arms binded, now open to any of Crtrine's attacks.

(ahh I know how Amethyst is going to get herself out of the whiips. It's going to be kinda gross but cute at the same time)

"It's all I've got," Citrine.exe chuckled, not making any move. He stood over her, not making any attacks. "C'mon, you're not even trying," he said, smirking. Is this for fun or am I making a horrible decision?

Amethyst was quite surprised seeing Citrine actually let her free. She smirked, and had an idea.
Amethyst glowed. She shapeshifted into a dog. She pinned his down, licking his face like a pet dog would. She used the opportunity to get away; she kicked Citrine away as gently as possible with her newly made hind legs. She then backed away a few meters, shapeshifting back to her normal self.

"Blegh! You even taste like what I imagine a Homeworld gem tasting like!" Amethyst joked, wiping her mouth.

[Soddenfur]

Citrine stumbled backwards, laughing. "What do Homeworld gems taste like?" he jokingly inquired, raising an eyebrow. I somehow knew it would turn out like this... Before Amethyst answered the question, he attempted a sucker punch, restraining himself so it wouldn't turn out to be too painful.

Amethyst felt the punch. Though it didn't hurt, it was something.
"So you're gonna play dirty?" Amethyst asked. She tackled Citrine, rolling on the floor with him. She got him into a headlock and proceeded to noogie his head, his hair becoming almost as untidy as her own. She let out a joyful laugh.
"You're lucky you're not Steven, he would've gotten it much worse!"Amethyst laughed.

Citrine laughed with Amethyst, pushing her off as he fell to the side. "See you later! Maybe..." he said, his tone becoming more serious after each word. He fled to the Warp Pad, this time making it to its surface. It was still extremely dark, so it was a bit hard to navigate. He waved goodbye in the darkness and left with the beam, soon leaving the room an eerie quiet.

"SKY!?" Amethyst shouted, banging on her room door. "WE'VE KIND OF HAVE A PROBLEM." Amethyst snickered to herself internally. How could she be so blind? Even if they were having fun, she should've been more careful.

If Pearl finds out about this, oh i'm dead.

Citrine secretly lingered near the bottom of the trail, although Amethyst's shouting soon faded away. He didn't want to betray his friend so many times, but it was what he had to do. Eventually, Citrine reached the temporarycamp Homeworld had set up, which took him a while to walk to. Every few minutes, he'd check if anyone was behind him, but nothing usually came up. He finally reached the small encampment, consisting of three other gems. Citrine checked the large monitor displaying Yellow Diamond. She instructed him the usual orders and told him to be wary. He had avoided telling her of his encounter with Sky, as it would only complicate things. Citrine pulled a bubble hovering by his feet, well hidden in the dark during his recent battle. It contained a small, clustered gem. He sent it to her, and Yellow Diamond thanked him for it. After that, he continued his regular business planning out his next move. Your turn, Amethyst. He probably went out.. somewhere secret.. to do it.

Amethyst knew she couldn't directly follow him. Who knows what could be lurking?

Sky walked out of her room slowly, staring at Amethyst with an emotionless face. "You let him get away didn't you." she stated, not even asking a question even though it was phrased like one. They stared at the other short gem, sighing deeply. He didn't even wanna help this time, just let Amethyst fix everything herself. Though, he new she'd just mess up everything even more.

"Ehehe...." Amethyst chuckled, trailing off in guilt. Her own stare meeting their's.
"What are we going to do?" She asked.

Sky clapped her hands together. "That's for you to figure out." she stated as she took in a deep breath. She was done with this for today.

"W-what?!" Amethyst exclaimed, her dark lavender eyes widening. "You can't just leave me like this! Common' Sky, please?"

Citrine continued filing his logs, organized by date and importance. Why are they so fixed on colonizing Earth? It's not as great as they told me... He sighed, finally finishing his work. His next step was to plot his next move, although he wasn't sure what Amethyst was doing at the moment. Probably doing something productive for once... Then, it hit him. She trusted him far more than he trusted her. Citrine began feeling oddly guilty for the deceit of his friend. You don't understand...!
