In this luscious Twolegplace, filled with many twolegs and their mates and kits, and kittypets that are by these twolegs, there is a Twoleg Nest that is near the giant forest many kittypets are too afraid to venture in. In it resides a pretty brown molly whose name was given to her by her Twolegs, Havana. A two weeks ago, she had just given birth to four healthy little kittens, Rivka, Denver, Cetus and Minnie. Their father is a wanderer and doesn't visit all the time. The kittens can be seen either playing with each other inside the nest or out in their big garden. Their garden doesn't have any barriers to the border of the forest.

The brown spotted tom wiggled around as he basked in the sun. It was quiet and peacefull, he knew it wasn't going to last long, so tried to soak up as much of it a sigh he possibly could. Although the young tom did appreciate his siblings company, he liked his alone time, his quiet time. He rolled over onto his back and let out a whistful sigh, he liked this, he felt as though he could just lay there on his rock and soak up the sun for moons. He opened his eyes and smiled, his blue hues scanned the area around him, for a few seconds it seemed ....to quiet.

[Bella~]

Havana had been curled up in her. Cat bed that had been laid on the light grey stone patio. Her ear flicked and she stretched out her front paws bringing her back up in an arch. She let out a quiet meow before rising to her paws, she locked in her paw, swiping it over her ear. After quickly grooming herself she set a law out of the bed. She passed out to the yard looking for her kittens. Her tail lashed calmly behind her, stiring up a bit of dust behind her "Kittens~?" she called a smile spread across her maw as she waited for her kits to come bounding towards her, she sat on her launches and wrapped her tail around her paws.

Curled up on a flat rock slept a tiny kitten that went under the name her twolegs called her, Minnie. She bore the same coloration as her father, Orca, on her pelt and her eyes shined with a bright green color. She adorned a red collar with white polka dots to match her black and white fur. The sun kissed her tiny body, making her dark fur glisten and warm her up in this cool weather. Only a few weeks of living and she feels pretty content with being a house cat. She wasn't the most extroverted or wildest out of all of her siblings. But she did enjoy going outside. Her ears perked up at the sound of something calling her and took a while to realize it was her mother. She fluttered open her eyes and stretched herself out on her rock "C-Coming, Mother!" She squeaked. She leapt off her rock and into the cold snow. As she made contact she stiffened by how freezing it felt on her pads before continuing to make her way towards her mother.

Havana watched one of her little kittens bound over, she gave off a small purr like chuckle and met the Kitten half way. She scooped her up by the scruff of her neck and sat her on the patio. She sat down beside her little she-cat as she waited on her other kittens "Minnie?" She said calmy, starting a question "What do you think of the snow? It's pretty cold isn't it?" Her tail wrapped around her paws as she waited on the Morgan's answer .

Denver, being a feisty little tom, hid around the corner, his black and white speckled tail waving mischievously above his head. The young tom kit bounded forwards, rushing his mither and ine of his siblings. At the last moment he jumped up, but aimed wrong and went skidding across the floor. He flipped over and over on his black and white pelt, finally bumping to a stop as he rolled into his mother's leg. Looking up bashfully, he smiled a giddy smile as he giggled in glee.

A tiny squeak of surprise was released from the tiny black and white kitten's mouth as she felt herself get plucked off the ground and carried off. She recognized the tug as her mother just by the familiar smell of milk alone. Her mother saved her the trouble from marching anymore in the snow and brought her to the dry patio and she looked up at her mother. She shook her whole body free from the cold snow now melting and stinging her skin with it's freezing touch. As she kicked her back legs in the air, she responds to her mother. "I-It's freezing!" the tiny kitten shivered and waddled over to her mother's side and purred in satisfaction as she felt warmed by her's mother body. She didn't really like how much the cold nipped on her toes and preferred warm temperatures. After she was officially nuzzled in, she looked out to the snowy background, so white, so clean, so cold. She looked up at her mother, "Is it always this white, mother?"

Orion let out a huff and rolled back over onto his stomach, he didn't feel like it, he didn't want to get up he was too comfortable. The tom licked his maw and closed his eyes "No" he stated simply, and he meant it. She may be his mother, but that didn't always meant he had to listen to every single word the molly said to him. He could do things on his own, he had legs and he could use them however he pleased.

[Bella~]

Havana smiled at Denver and Millie, he ears flicked patiently at Orion's response. She watched the two kits that sat at her sides and nudged Denver off his back, she kept him close to her warm fur. She looked at the little she-cat in front of her and nodded "The snow stays for a while, then it goes away and all the grass grows again and it is so pretty and green everywhere.." She glanced around as if remembering the spring and summer air "Orion, come here please" she asked the unruly kitten, ready to get up and get him if needed.

As she heard her mother's explanation, she looked out into the snowy essence of her yard and the snowy tops of the trees that resided beyond her home. Grass? she thought to herself. She was learning so many terms so fast, it make a cat's head spin. She assumed that what this white, cold powdery stuff was called... snow. She decided in her head that she doesn't like the stinging touch of it, though she admits it's pretty to gaze upon. She emerged a bit from the warmth of her mother to look at all of it, trying to take it all in. She was told that grass would replace the snow... whatever grass was... and she couldn't wait to see it. She was aware that when the snow is all gone, she may not be with her mother and siblings to experience. She already knew that within a few weeks, she will have to move and become a part of another twoleg's nest. This fact excited, but also saddened and scared hr greatly. She hoped whatever nest she is brought to is close enough to her family so she would have the chance to be able to visit them.

Minnie looked over to the direction of her brother, who ignored their mother's call. She felt dumbfounded. Calling out to the tom kit, she squeaks, "Come on, it's so cold over there. You're going to freeze your paws!" she exclaimed with slight worry.

Cetus looked over at his mother and sister and stuck his young out, his pink nose Twitched a tad. He wouldn't admit he was cold, and he wouldn't give in to his mothers request, he could take care of himself. The white Tom lashed his tail and looked up, yes the ground was littered with snow, but it was melting away. He would guess it was from the suns warm rays, it was a little harder for him to warm up, he had no black on his coat, white with brown spots, heat wasn't attracted to him and he wasn't able to hold it either. He suppressed shivered tha threatened to arise, he didn't want to show his family he was weak, unreliable. He had to be the male in the family because father had rarely shown up and since mother couldn't really nag them, he had to. And since he was in charge as well he could do what ever he pleased, and he liked the thought of that. "I'm not cold Minnie I'm fine, don't be a worry wuss." he stated loudly, his hues half idled as he said it, he was bored, but he didn't want to get up, he didn't want to move.

Minnie let out a little whimper of concern. She didn't look fine him. He looked very cold, just like most of them were. How stubborn and foolish it was to let yourself get like that due to pride. Minnie never saw herself as a cat like that. She was tiny and knew if she needed the help of another cat. She wasn't very independent at the moment, but what kitten wouldn't be? Out there by themselves, they wouldn't last long before they would hungry or bigger meaner things would see the kitten as a tasty meal. She looked up to her mother, with pleading eyes. "He looks really cold, Mother." She gazed up into her mother eyes, asking her to do something about her brother's negligence towards himself.

Havana sighed and stood "I'll be right back.." She mewed to her two little kittens. She bounded gracefully over the snow and stopped in front of the defiant, proud little kitten. She sighed "You will catch your death of cold..." She said with concern, she picked him up by the scruff and padded back over to the porch. She sat and pulled him close to her fur to warm the cold kit up.

The white Tom felt a wave of worry wash over him once he spotted his mother stand up. In a futile attempt to run away the Tom picked himself up and began to try and scramble away, but slipped on the slippery, ice covered stone he perched himself on and let out a squeak as he fell. Cetus flailed as his mother picked him up by the scruff, his paws lashing in all directions "No I'm not! Mom! I have dads fur I'm not cold!" he whined letting out a defeated sigh as he was squished in his mother's fur. Although he would never admit it he was actually slightly cold and his mothers warmth was exactly what he needed. He turned his blue hues onto his sister, Minnie, and stuck his young out "Happy?" he asked, sass dripped from his words and his starling blue hues danced with annoyance.

[Bella~]

Havana purred a chuckle a wide grin spread across her maw. She pulled the kitten close and wrapped her tail around him. Oh how she loved her babies, she couldn't imagine what she would do without them. She sighed, her smile fading for a mere second at the thought of her babies being taken away. She knew it had to happen one day, so she would savor every second she had with her little balls of fluff. Her smile returned and she hoped none of her kittens saw it falter.

Minnie breathed a sigh of relief watching her mother bring her brother over to the porch. Her tail wiggled in happiness and she hopped up and down, anxiously waiting for her brother to be with them. She smiled as she watched her mother bring him closer to her as Minnie trotted over to the two. Being oblivious to his sass, she touched his cold fur and shook in response. She licked his cold cheek and snuggled close to him to help him feel warm along with mother. She loved her family, every single one of them. She looked out to the direction of the forest and began to think. Mother told us Father lived in the forest. She says I look just like him... she thought, I wish I could see what he was like. Her thoughts were interrupted as she noticed something small on the porch with them. A tiny mouse trying to escape the cold that hasn't noticed the kitten staring at it with hungry wild eyes. She left the presence of her mother and brothers and stalked over to the mouse. She has caught many mice in their twoleg nest multiple times, but her mother and Twolegs never allow her to eat it and would always stop before she had the chance to kill it. Wriggling in front of it, Minnie clumsily pounces onto it, naively catching it between sheathed paws. The frightened mouse attempts to wriggle out the kitten's paws, but she quickly catches it again with her mouth by the tail. She hoped this time she would get the chance to see what it tastes like.
