View Full Version : The Queen's Silver Eye (Poem)

Ludicrous Lunacy

It's been so long
Since the people have seen
The Night's sky
All the can see is the great Silver Eye.

Shrouded in clouds
She peers at the Eath
It is all her turf
But she tries to block the light.

"Let her wallow in pain,"
They all snort
And they say,
"Just you wait for day."

And the sun would rise,
And away went the eye
And the Queen would cry
And bring rain to the land.

And then she'd peep over
Her gaze shining like a half moon
Red eyes from the tears
That she shed over the years.

The Queen's eye rose
And it looked upon them all.
Compared to her, they were small
But they were always standing tall.

That's amazing!
