Ludicrous Lunacy

A pencil
Broke in two
In the middle of a class
Someone throws a piece
At a window
Made of glass
The noise
Startles a jogger
Who drops bottled water
The water
Spills over some dirt
And some ants
Over time
The dirt houses a beetle
And some plants
The plants become
A herbal tea
Sipped by an employee
The person
Works at a law firm
And is energized by the tea
That single drink
Inspired her
To fight to save some trees
Those trees
Have green leaves
That shelter orange peaches
The peach
Sits out of reach
Of a young schoolteacher
He goes
Across the grass
To prepare for class
And he passed
A window
Made of glass
Broke in two
In the middle of a class
Someone throws a piece
At a window
Made of glass
The noise
Startles a jogger
Who drops bottled water
The water
Spills over some dirt
And some ants
