Posts: 1920Bouldermouse steered clear of the thunderpath and crept from yard to yard. If there was a fence, he'd take the long way and so around back as to not be too exposed. Suddendly , he felt sharp pain grip his hindlegs once more. He forces himself behind the place, where there was an alleyway with more twoleg nests across it, though no monsters at all.

Posts: 1576Snow padded outside her twoleg's house, her white fur glistened in the sun as she took a few steps into her vast yard, filled with green grass and a couple of cat toys and flowers. She stretched out her body as she padded over to the fence, jumping onto it and looking around, another nice day it seemed as she scanned the area with her icy blue eyes.

Posts: 1920Bouldermouse was in the alley around the fence corner when he heard a faint rattle. Looking up, a cat has just jumped up onto the fence. He crouches low, hoping to avoid detection as he tried to find another place to rest, but as he took that first step back, the pain made him suck air through his teeth.

Posts: 1576The white she-cat's ears twitched as she jumped down from her fence, and padded down the side walk, approaching the alley as she did, her faintly cream colored paws carried her across the sidewalk as she took in the fresh air, stopping as soon as she approached the alley, seeing the injured tom, her eyes widened a bit as she saw him.

Posts: 1920Bouldermouse tried to move out of there, but it was too late, she had already noticed him. What if this cat was like the other, he can't handle another fight like this. His fears mounding, he ignores his pain and attempts to make a run for it, but he only went so far until his hindlegs seized up, having him fall to his side against the pavement.

His jewel green gaze met her ice blue eyes, he could tell, she really did mean no harm. Turning back, he picked his front half up off the ground, but his hindlegs still felt weak, like they weren't there. Turning to her once more, he he didn't want to admitt it, but, "Can...Can you help me?"

Posts: 1576Snow tilted her head slightly and nodded. "Of course I can..." She clamed as she padded closer to him. "How can I help?" She asked as she examined him. The tom certainly did not seem like a normal cat, more so a stray, all injured an what not, it made her quite curious.

Posts: 1576Snow looked over at the fence containing her yard, her icy blue eyes scanned the fence as she searched for an entrance, remembering that there was another entrance, being the hole in the bottom of the fence. She nodded as she looked back at him. "Yes, there's a hole big enough for a cat to squeeze in through, just right over here." She explained as she padded over to the hole, it was not too far away though, she stood next to it as she waited for the tom to follow after.

Posts: 1920Bouldermouse took a deep breath. He had thought to mind his manners, bit figured that could wait until he felt safe. He padded forward, his pace extreamly slow and taxing. I've limped on one hindleg before, but both? It feels impossible to move. He pushed on, taking slower kittensteps, feeling his legs wobble constaintly. At least the hole was close, it didn't take too long to reach it, though now he felt out of breath. He put in extra effort to slip through and plopped down in the softer soil. "Thank you..." he sighed, though he was still a bit wary.

This is crazy! Plumskip is probably having a fit right now. I hope they don't come looking for me, grr, I have to get back, I can't risk anyone running into that cat. Bouldermouse tried to pick himself up, but it was no use. He was too exhausted, and he's only just realizing now how hard he was panting. Realizing he must be a scary sight for Snow, what with the blood caked to his fur and fallng all over the place, he flips to his side, turning away from her. The one she-cat wanted to kill me, yet this one helps me? Twoleg place cats are weird.
Bouldermouse lied there quietly for a bit, wondering what Snow was doing while he had his back turned. She could have already been gone, that would be expected, but he spoke anyway. "I was hurt worse than I thought, but I can't just lie here, I need to get back to camp." He mewed to himself, aloud as he usually does when he's alone.

I don't know, maybe this is a bad idea, but I'm in a bad spot, and my family might be worse off if I don't get back soon. Heh, Hawkspeed is probably stalling for me... Though a bit relunctant, Boulermouse answered, "I live in the forest, somewhere around here, but my old camp is flooded from all this rain. We moved to a safer spot, but I went further, and now I'm here."

I can wait until I find my way back." He tried to pick himself up again, though all his hindlegs did was tremble at his own weight. Fox-dung, who am I kidding, I'm going to be a while recovering from this. Now I have to trust outside help... Mother, why do you always have to be right? "Unless," he mewed in a submissive tone, "You happen to know where mice are hiding around here?"

Posts: 1920Human? Bouldermouse nodded, partly understanding what she was getting at. It was only now that he realized there was a twoleg nest right behind him, and then it made sense. Words I don't really understand, I get it now, she must be a kittypet! Kittypets are soft, she certaintly isn't any threat. With that he feels a bit more relaxed, actually starting to find some intrest in what this kind of cat has to say. He's stuck here for a while, maybe this isn't so bad. "I see. They wouldn't taste any diffrent, would they?" Bouldermouse asked, since he certaintly wasn't thrilled in trying any kittypet or human food.

She said before running into her house, only to come out a couple minutes later with a plump, greyish/brown mouse in her cream muzzle. "Got one!" She mewed through her muffled mouth as she dropped the mouse in front of the clan cat.

To think, everything he was told about kittypets, completely wrong? Well, he did hear it from an elder, maybe kittypets have gotten tougher over time. "Ah, thank you!" He wasted no time, taking a bite of the prey. All his doubts gone, he finally mewed, "My name's Bouldermouse, what's yours?"

One of the twolegs chimed with glee as they looked for their beloved pet, only to find her with a cat they'd never seen before. "What the..." The adult twoleg said as she looked at the two sleeping away on their couch. "Yay! Another kitty!" A younger twoleg said with glee for excitement of the new cat, only to startle Snow awake. She quickly jolted up as she heard her twolegs, she looked up in shock, she'd not expected them to come home so early. Posts: 1920Bouldermouse sniffs the ground as he padded towards the fence. The scent is very diffrent from the forest, an dthe dirt is so packed it's like padding along the floor inside the twoleg nest.
All the while, Eveline is padding along the alley, her head held high as her pink, crystal studded collar sent fragmented light shining into the shaded yard. At a glance, she noticed Snow pad out through the catdoor. "Oooh, pretty kitty." she purred to herself, already thinking of her as a friend. Being a pure white cat herself, how could they not be friends! She notices the bend in the fence and decides to pad in to say hi, completely unaware of Bouldermouse hiding in the grass.
Bouldermouse got a bit facinated with the ground, trying to dig at it with his paws, but to no avail, not without all his strength. He looks up just as Eveline nearly crashes into him, both now staring at eachother with wide eyes. Bouldermouse was shaked up, but this cat is an intruder, and though he didnt actually expect to find a trespasser so quickly, he had to show Snow how it's done. He puffs out his fur and hisses right in Eveline's face.
Eveline immidiately cursed herself, she didn't expect a tom in the grass! His hiss makes her heart jump and she shuffles backwards back through the hole n the fence, but a sudden jerk at her neck stops her. She hacks and struggles, her collar caught on the wire. Bouldermouse lifted his head, still in a bit of shock and slow to process what had just happened.

Evaline lifted her head from the fence and looked down at her poor collar. "Aww, not again. Master's going to be upset, and I was so careful this time." She looks up to thank Snow for her help, but at seeing Bouldermouse right behind her, she dropped her ears and backed away a few pawsteps.

Bouldermouse tilted his head. Something felt rather unsettling about her for a moment, but he figured it was just his imagination. Nonetheless, he felt a bit confused. Strangers getting along that quickly never happens. He felt he had to be safe and ask, "Snow, are you sure she's okay to have around?"

"The forest?" Eveline mewed, her tail shot straight up. "I was just on my way there, I'm looking for someone!"
"You...know where the forest is?" Bouldermouse mewed, honestly surprised by this sudden opportunity. With Evaline's cheery nod of confirmation, he looks briefly to Snow. He couldn't forget his manners, of course, "Is it alright if we... follow?"
