Alright, guys, I've got this plot idea that will take a while to complete. I need a lot of roles, and if anyone is a current member of this cat's family please speak up with proof (I.E. a char page I can link the name to on mine xD,) as that can actually put a big dampener on this plot, but I'd still like to have her real family noted and linked. This plot is mostly for character development, so I'm not looking for 100% complete characters to fill these roles I need to be filled. That said, however, I do need the character that you apply to be 75%+ completed. The basis of the character needs to be well thought out and such. If you've read through this then you should put "Breyer" somewhere in your post. If you have any suggestions as to how to continue this plot before/after/during it's completion, then please do not hesitate to say something. I'm all ears, and this is by no means every event that happens in this plot. Now, onto the plot itself...

"As soon as one thing ends, another begins. That's what I've always been told, but why does it seem like nothing is beginning? It's been ages since I first lost my memory. I don't remember my mother, my father, any of my siblings if I have any. I don't remember any of them..." - Birchstep
Part I
Birchstep thinks she was born and raised in Riverclan, however, that is the furthest from the truth. She came to Riverclan when she was six moons old. She doesn't remember this because she suffered a bad internal head wound that made her lose her memory from birth to about seven moons. That's not where the story starts, however. Birchstep's story starts on the day she meets her first mate, [Tom 1]. Now, [Tom 1] has quite the history with the ladies. He's had three mates that he left with/out kits, and changed clans once because of that very reason. Birchstep knows this, but still, he finds his way into her heart, only to break it just like the other she-cats. However, for some reason, he actually feels an attachment to Birchstep, so after he leaves her and their litter of kits, he tries to come back. However, this is after Birchstep has gotten over him and started hanging out with another cat, [Tom 2]. Birchstep's kits are five moons old at this point, and she's starting to have feelings for [Tom 2], only to find out that [Tom 2] is only really interested in Birchstep as a close friend. Birchstep can understand this, but she's still hurt by it. When her kits turn six moons old and become apprentices, she decides to explore the borders of the Riverclan territory alone. Here she meets [Tom 3] and [She-Cat 1]. They are a mated pair of loners that frequent the border of Riverclan territory, but not for the reasons Birchstep thinks, for [She-Cat 1] would recognize her kit anywhere.
Part 2
Birchstep starts frequenting the border where [She-Cat 1] and [Tom 3] stay at, learning about her past and why they told her to go to Riverclan to live out her life. She does this until her kits are warriors, then bringing them to meet their grandmother and grandfather. Birchstep, confused as to where she truly belongs, waits for two moons for a sign that she should stay in Riverclan, or even to stay in the clans as a whole. That's when [Tom 1] tries yet again to get Birchstep back, promising never to leave her again. Well, at the same time, [Tom 2] begins to find out that he also has feelings for Birchstep, and that they have been there the whole time, he just interpreted them wrong. Confused and slightly hurt when both toms confront her at the same time, Birchstep runs and runs and runs, all the way to the edge of Riverclan territory where she first met her parents. They're gone. Their scent is stale like they moved on, and Birchstep, even more, heartbroken that they didn't say goodbye, simply collapses. [Tom 2], who Birchstep had been confiding in the whole time, comforts her when he and [Tom 1] catch up to her. [Tom 1] starts following Birchstep's parents' scent, going after them even though Birchstep warns him not to. Unknowing to Birchstep or either tom, [Kit 1] and [Kit 2] followed them.
Part 3
[Tom 1], [Tom 2], [Kit 1], [Kit 2], and Birchstep all decide to go looking for Birchstep's parents together, leaving Riverclan for a short while. It takes them a good three moons to find [She-Cat 1] and [Tom 3], or, their bodies at least. The blood is fresh, the scent of wild dogs even more so. The dogs feasted upon the two older cats' bodies while Birchstep and the rest of the group watched. The group doesn't stick around long, however, and leave before being spotted. Birchstep, shaken to the bone, is escorted back home to Riverclan by the two toms and kits. One moon later, Birchstep finds out she's expecting kits again, but who's the father? Who's her mate? If you've read this far, you'll put "Horses" in your form somewhere. [Tom 1] again? Or is it [Tom 2] this time? Birchstep knows. While she has forgiven [Tom 1] for leaving her in the past and is even good friends with him now, she still doesn't trust him to be her mate again, leaving [Tom 2] to be her mate. [Tom 1] is furious. After all, he did for Birchstep she had the nerve to not choose him? When her kits are born, he takes them. Birchstep and [Tom 2] go after him, finding him as he is throwing the last kit into the river. While Birchstep jumps in to save her day old kits, the two toms on the shore fight it out. Unfortunately, Birchstep is too late to save on of the three kits. After the fight, [Tom 1] apologizes, and leaves Riverclan, leaving Birchstep and [Tom 2] to be happy together.

This tom needs to be a player. He has to have lived in at least one clan prior to Riverclan and this plot and must learn from his mistakes.
[Tom 2]
This tom needs to be friendly, and preferably never have had a mate before, but that's not really a deciding factor.
[Tom 3]
This tom must be at least near-elder age. He must look somewhat like Birchstep, even if it's just his eyes. This cat will die.
[She-Cat 1]
This she-cat must be at least near-elder age. She must look somewhat like Birchstep, even if it's just her eyes. This cat will die.
[She-Cat 2]
This she-cat is not mentioned in the plot. She is who Birchstep sees as a mother growing up. These two are also great friends.
[Kits 1 & 2]
These kits must look like both parents, and won't be decided until after [Tom 1] is chosen.
[Kit 3]
This kit must look like both parents, and won't be decided until after [Tom 2] is chosen. This kit will die.
[Kits 4 & 5]
These kits must look like both parents, and won't be decided until after [Tom 1] is chosen. They are not necessary to the plot overall but are still needed so that Birchstep can have a full litter.
